Thunderbird Mountain…

After the group discovered that Tiwa was taken…Military units arrived at the mountains and stationed there because of the suspicious amount of electricity…The group decided to hide in the abandoned Pueblo for the time being…

In one the adobe houses that still stand…the group has an interesting conversation…

“So let me get this straight…you’re saying that your name is Emma Smith and that you’re the original owner of the body and that Tiwa has possessed you for the last couple of years?” Carlos asks as he walks from one side to the other.

Chelsea, Emma and Flood sit in the campfire as Emma nods in agreement:

“That’s right…my name is Emma Smith…I am originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico…I came here because I wanted to help Tiwa…”

“Smith from Santa Fe huh…well…we have a very rich princess in our hands ehh?” Flood chuckles. Chelsea opens her eyes wider; “Wait…she’s rich?”

“Of course….the Smith are the most powerful family in the region…they even rival the Lucifugus in wealth…”

“Seriously? Emma…you’re in heaven…” Chelsea looks at Emma with her eyes in the shape of the dollar sign. Emma chuckles nervously; “It’s not that big of a deal…besides…I kinda left my family so that fortune isn’t mine…”

(CRACK)

At that moment, Chelsea’s dollar signs crumbled. Carlos sighs; “And here I was planning to kidnap you…”

“Wait…what?”

“Oh nothing…” Carlos stops and sits in front of them; “So then…what’s the plan? We have Tiwa, who has been kidnapped and that psycho on the loose…”

“We need to save Tiwa…she’s in danger…” Emma looks desperate, Chelsea sighs with her eyes close:

“I understand but how do we save her in the first place…you said she was taken by a ghost right? How do we save a ghost?”

“I-I-I don’t know…but I know that if I see her…I might be able to do something…”

“Well then…I guess we must be there and find out right?” Chelsea winks at Emma. Emma smiles; “Thank you…”

“It’s settled then…I will also go and see this Thunderbird up close…also…I have some unfinished business with that Pimpinela…” Carlos makes a sinister smile.

“Scary…” Emma and Chelsea look at Carloss smile. Carlos looks at Flood; “So what are you going to do?”

“My mission is to eliminate the threat of Pimpinela…so I will be going with you and stopping him…”

“Then it’s settle…the sun will rise in two hours…so I suggest we rest for a little while…we will go back at sunrise…” Carlos stands up and heads to the other room. Flood also stands up and heads outside:

“See you in a while…”

Chelsea looks at Emma; “Is everything alright?”

Emma looks at her hand; “It’s been a long time since I felt my hand move…”

“Wait…so when Tiwa was in charge…you didn’t feel it…”

“Well it’s complicated…I know that Tiwa was moving and fighting…but I also felt her movements…her fatigue and her love…”

“Oh then the one who is in love with Alejandro is…”

“It’s her…Tiwa loves him…I admire his bravery and how he has evolved for the last couple of months…but it’s actually Tiwa’s feelings towards him that are strong…”

“Interesting…you know that whole idea about love…I never quite understood…but oh well…”

Both Chelsea and Emma chuckle. Chelsea lays back and closes her eyes to sleep. Emma looks at her hand once again:

“It’s been a long time…since I felt so empty…”

April 16th; Near Thunderbird Mountain…

Just outside Thunderbird mountain…the military units composed of 50 soldiers kept watch and were investigating the phenomenon…however…in just two hours…the soldiers disappeared…

“NNNOO WWWAAIIITTT!!!!”

(SSSSLLLASSHHH)

A soldier gets his head cut off because of a mallet. A giant figure appears in front of him and the figure is the Ogre that Pimpinela summoned.

Pimpinela walks to the top of a hill; “Good Job my pets…keep on playing with your prey…” Pimpinela looks down and sees dozens of Sombras attacking the soldiers and eating their souls.

Pimpinela feels excited; “Ahh yes…I love the smell of blood and the smell of fear…”

(SSSLLLASSHHH)

Pimpinela stabs the body of a soldier right next to him; “Oh how come I don’t hear you scream? Oh that’s right…I cut your throat off, so you are already dead…hahahaha…”

Pimpinela covers his hand with some blood; “You know…sometimes it’s better to smile…come on…show me your smile…”

Pimpinela draws a smile on the dead soldier's face using his blood; “Much better…” He walks towards the edge and sits down:

“You see…for an innocent child to have experienced the murder of his parents by a psychopath who went inside our house…he tortured them and slowly killed them is something so…hilarious…and I saw everything when I was just only 8 years old…I was hiding on the wall as I saw them getting tortured…my mom was raped…as my dad watch…”

Pimpinela extends his hand to the moon; “Then…I decided to kill that bastard…and the Heavens gave me this power…the power to summon Shadows…I made the Shadows kill that bastard slowly and passionately…he begged for mercy but I didn’t care…I just wanted him to die…”

A tear comes out of his eye; “It was such a beauty…seeing how blood came out of his mutilated arms and tears from his eyes…that bastard felt the same thing my parents did…and what happened next…”

He makes a fist as he feels rage; “When the police arrived…they didn’t see the bastard…and blamed me…they blamed me for having killed my parents…I was the damned victim here…I had no choice but to run for my life…”

He stands up and expands his arms; “I loved that moment…the moment I took revenge…is that so wrong? I spent years helping the innocent but the government saw this as mass murder…I was captured 15 years later and thrown into a cell…2 years later…I was offered a new job where I could feel the same pleasure in killing…but then…I found something better…”

He looks down and smiles; “The art of seeing the blood of those around me…I decided to collect new pets…that’s when I encountered that Ogre and Bauk…they made my job so easy…and now…I will have my third beast…that pet is going to be the conclusion…”

He points at the mountain; “The Thunderbird…and with its powers…I will create the ultimate art…by destroying that city with my new power…yes…that’s what I will do…”

Pimpinela extends his palm to the air, at that moment, all of the Sombras turn into mana and gather around a black orb in Pimpinela’s hand; “This is a great ability…to gather the mana that my pets absorbed and turn it into my own…”

Pimpinela eats the mana sphere. -BBBOOOMMM- At that moment, he releases a powerful amount of mana as he laughs maniacally:

“GET READY…BECAUSE MY ULTIMATE ART WILL BEGIN!”

Near the Abandoned Ysleta Pueblo…

Carlos washes his face with the water he found on the river nearby; “Man that’s cold…” Carlos stretches his arms and legs:

“Okay…I’m ready…”

“You sure are in high spirits today…right?” Flood approaches him. Carlos continues to stretch:

“Well yeah…I can’t wait to fight that bastard again…”

Flood walks towards the river; “Could you…look the other way? I don’t want to show my face…”

“Yeah yeah…” Carlos turns around but sneaks a peak. Flood removes the hood revealing her short orange hair. She removes her mask and puts it to the ground.

(SSPPLLAASSHH)

She uses the opportunity to also wash her face in the river. Carlos tries to see her face but Flood immediately puts her mask on; “Can I ask you a question?”

“What do you want?”

“Why did you spare my life that day? You could have easily killed me there?”

Carlos looks at the sky; “I don’t know…I couldn’t bring myself to kill a pretty girl like you…”

“So you did see me that day…Oh you think I’m pretty?” Flood teases Carlos. Carlos blushes; “Hey don’t be like that…you know a little girl like you shouldn’t be doing these kinds of things…”

“Little girl? I happened to be 19 for your information…”

“No way…you’re older than me?” Carlos turns around and sees Flood without her mask; “Wait…you’re mask…”

Flood’s real appearance is a young woman with brown skin, bluish eyes and orange tone hair.

“You said I was pretty…do you still think that way upon seeing my face?” Flood asks Carlos with her face being red. Carlos looks away; “Of course…you have a pretty face…”

Flood smiles and puts her mask back on; “Well that’s good to hear…nobody has told me that in 10 years…thank you…I like you…”

“Hey…don’t make this awkward…” Carlos turns around. Flood chuckles; “I am not…but you see in this job…I must always have this mask…because I am nothing more than a tool for the government…”

“I see…so why do you have this job?”

“Because…I want to earn enough money so my family won’t be poor…even though I will never get to see them again…”

“I see…then you and I are pretty much alike…”

“Really?”

“Yeah…I also do this for the money…I want to be free financially…and that’s why…I will continue working with Yggdrasil well…until a better offer arrives…” Carlos and Flood chuckle. Flood looks down:

“Have you ever killed someone?”

“Of course…I’ve killed dozens of people…I am a killer…”

“I see that you and I are really alike…I’ve killed 1000 people in the past 5 years…”

“Whoa…don’t judge a book by its cover right…” Carlos chuckles; “I have a power that I can’t control…when I use it…I lose my sanity…only two people could stop the rampage…my leader…and Chelsea are the ones who managed to stop me…”

“Oh Chelsea…your girlfriend?”

Carlos blushes; “No…she’s just my friend…and that’s all…”

“Oh come on…I know that you have a thing for her…don’t you think she’s pretty?”

“Oh come on…why ask me that…well…I must admit that she’s my type but she still has ways to go…Kasumi-senpai has bigger brea…”

Carlos notices Flood pointing behind him. Carlos turns around nervously, she sees Chelsea and Emma. Chelsea has a red aura surrounding her and Emma is blushing.

“C-C-Chelsea…how long were you…”

“Oh Carlos…you always talk too much…”

(PPUUMM)

Chelsea punches him in the stomach. Carlos falls to the ground. Emma helps him; “Carlos…you should’ve kept quiet…”

“I’m sorry…”

“Well now…time to go and save Tiwa…” Chelsea points at Thunderbird mountain.

“Where…where am I? Tiwa opens her eyes as a bright light shines down. She looks up and sees a blue sky:

“Wait…is it morning already? But the last thing I remember, I was…”

Tiwa remembers everything that happened and immediately lifts her body; “That’s right…I was…”

(RRRRAAAWWW)

Tiwa hears a loud roar, she turns to her right and sees a giant golden eagle standing in an altar made of Gold. Tiwa crawls back and notices that there are symbols carved all over the area. In the ceiling there is a giant mana sphere that illuminates the area like a sun.

“You’re finally awake…impostor…” Tiwa turns around and sees a woman standing and looking at the sky. Tiwa opens her eyes wider:

“H-H-Hopi…is that you Hopi?”

Tiwa stands up and tries to approach you; “Hopi…it’s me…Tiwa…”

“Silence”

(BBBOOOMMM)

Lightning comes down in front of Tiwa. -GYYAAHHH- Hopi looks at her with rage:

“Why do you insist on portraying someone who has been dead for 100 years…”

(RRRAAAWW)

The eagle gets agitated. Tiwa feels fear; “Please…listen to me…I am Tiwa…Hopi…it’s really me…you’re the one who taught me everything about our people…”

“SILENCE…SILENCE…YOU’RE LYING!”

Tiwa stands up and walks towards her. -PUM PUM- Lightning continues to fall towards her, but Tiwa continues to walk:

“I am Tiwa and I will prove it…my parents were part of the Cibola tribe…the priestess before you accepted me as part of the Ysleta…you were like a mother to me…Hopi…please…”

At that moment, lightning stops falling and Hopi’s mana gets controlled as tears come out of her eyes:

“T-T-Tiwa…only Tiwa would know that…it really is you…”

Hopi runs and hugs Tiwa; “Tiwa…I’m sorry…I’m sorry…I couldn’t protect you that night…”

Tiwa also cries; “No…it was all my fault…I wanted to know what happened to you…why are you here…and what happened to Jumano…”

Jumano the eagle gets closer to them. Hopi takes a step back; “Tiwa…a lot happened on that night…let me show you…”

Hopi and Jumano touch Tiwa 's forehead. At that moment, Tiwa sees the past.

(BANH BANG BANG)

“RUNAWAY! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!”

(BBBBOOOOMMM)

The pueblo is under the assault of El Charro Negro. A man in black with red eyes who fires from his pistol and destroys the houses with one shot:

“HAHAHAHA…YOU CAN’T RUN AWAY!”

(BANG BANG)

Another figure appears from flames, a cowboy who kills of the members with his pistols:

“Accept your fate…if you run you make it more difficult…”

(BANG BANG BANG)

Both of them continue to rampage.

“Ha…ha…ha…” Tiwa arrives at the pueblo and sees fire coming from the houses and dead people laying on the ground. Tiwa trembles and falls into her knees:

“N-N-Noo…what’s happening?”

“It’s all his fault…” Hopi walks next to Tiwa; “Hopi?”

Hopi hugs her; “It’s not your fault…don’t live with regret…this is all just fate…Tiwa…you must run away…you must live on…” Tiwa feels warm coming from Hopi’s abdomen; “Y-Y-You’re bleeding?”

“That man stabbed me…but don’t worry I was prepared to die for the sake of my pueblo…remember that I will always love you…you were like my daughter…now live on…”

“HHHHOOOPPPPIIII!”

Hopi makes two silver wings appear and she flies of with high speed towards the Pueblo. She sees a man in a horse:

“Jumano…fusion…”

“Right…”

Hopi fuses with Jumano, the silver eagle…heer hair turns silver and claws envelope her hands. She has a silver spear with an eagle symbol.

“I AM THE SHAMAN PRIESTESS HOPI…PREPARE YOURSELF!”

(BBBBBOOOOMMM)

Hopi clashes against the Charro on the horse. The Charro smiles; “It’s a pleasure, Hopi…my name is Nemesio Santa Cruz…”

Nemesio gets off his horse; “Unfortunately…you’re too late…everyone here is already dead, and those who escaped are being hunt down right now…and looking at you…your also at your limit here…”

“That may be…but still…” Hopi smiles and takes a battle stance; “I am a Shaman and Shamans are proud warriors as well…if I die tonight…I will die fighting…”

“EXCELLENT…HOPI OF THE YSLETA TRIBE…YOU HAVE MY RESPECT…AND FOR THAT…I WILL SHOW YOU MERCY…”

Hopi charges in to attack Nemesio, Nemesio takes her attack head on. -PPPUUUMMM- The spear disappears as Nemesio releases a powerful aura.

“It can’t be…” Hopi looks with shock. -SSSLLLASSHHHH- Nemesio proceeds in cutting her; “You were very brave to try and face El Charro Negro but I’m afraid…you didn’t have the power…”

Hopi slowly falls to the ground; “TIWA…”

El Charro Negro proceeds in destroying the pueblo completely, leaving no trace behind with only his mana.

(BBBBBBOOOOMMMM)

On that night…Tiwa was killed along with everyone of the Ysleta tribe…only a few survivors managed to escape…and went on to hide their identities…After the flames vanished…a lone Priestess went on in search for the girl she taught as her daughter…

(STEP STEP STEP)

“I must find her…I must Tiwa…” Hopi walks towards the northern part. Humano flies next to her; “Mistress Hopi…you’re dying…please…you must heal yourself…”

“I can’t…I must find her…Tiwa…”

Jumano flies high and goes towards the sky to have a better view; “Mistress I found her…just up ahead…”

Hopi runs as fast as she can; “Tiwa…please…you must be…”

(BADUMP)

Hopi opens her eyes wider, she falls into her knees as she sees Tiwa’s corpse in front of her; “N-N-No…it can’t be…Tiwa…”

“Mistress Tiwa…No…”

“NNNOOOO….TTTIIIWWAAAA!!!!” Hopi hugs Tiwa as she cries. At that moment, she releases an enormous amount of mana that reaches the sky:

“KKKYYYAAHHHH”

“MISTRESSS!!!! NOOO!!!!”

(BBBBOOOMMMM)

Jumano absorbs the mana involuntarily and at that moment, lightning strikes, hitting him. By combining both of the forces, the Thunderbird was born. A giant eagle with a lightning aura surrounding its body with power that rivals that of nature itself.

(RRRRAAAWWW)

“Tiwa…I’m sorry…I failed to protect you…” Hopi carries Tiwa’s body to the mountain. Jumano follows her:

“Tiwa…may you rest in peace…”

Hopi…with the last of her strength…created a tomb for her…she died one day after due to the lack of mana that she had…however, her spirit stayed behind along with Jumano…Jumano, who was the Thunderbird…feeling regret, flew to the skies and created a natural barrier of lightning…The people who saw him from afar were astonished…they named the sacred mountain…Thunderbird Mountain…Jumano decided to sleep until the day he is needed one more time by his master…As for Hopi…she remained a ghost…protecting what is precious to her…

Present…

“I’m sorry…I didn’t know…” Tiwa looks around as she notices something; “So this is…a shrine?”

“This is a sacred shrine where the Ysleta priests and elders came to pray and maintain balance with the mana of the surrounding areas…Tiwa, I taught you died…that’s why I waited for your soul to return however, it never happened…I made a tomb for you and that is where your body is…”

Tiwa looks at her tomb and beside her, the remains of Hopi’s body which is only a skeleton; “She must have suffer a lot…” Tiwa feels guilt and looks down:

“I’m sorry Hopi…it’s because of me…that everyone…that you were…”

“It wasn’t your fault…it was just fate…”

“Mistress Tiwa…” Tiwa’s familiars arrive. Tiwa looks at them with joy:

“Zuni…Jana…Suma…you found me…”

“We were so worried…”

“Your three familiars…they are alright…”

“Mistress Hopi…it’s really you…” Tiwa’s familiar look at her with shock. Hopi looks at Tiwa:

“Tiwa…how did you manage to be here all this time?”

“That’s because my soul was sealed by El Charro Negro…and awakened 100 years later by my friend Emma…” At that moment, Tiwa notices something; “That’s right…I’m a ghost…then where is Emma?”

Inside the cave…

“Damn it…this cave is so damn long…where does it lead anyway?” Carlos wines as he walks next to the others. Flood looks around:

“According to legend…the Thunderbird’s nest is at the end of this cave…this mountain was a sacred ceremonial ground for the Ysleta…”

“What the hell…how do you know all that?”

“I read books about it…and also…” Flood takes out her phone; “It’s on this website…”

“YOU CHEATER!” Carlos exclaims. Chelsea and Emma chuckle. Flood puts away her phone:

“You know…it’s kinda weird that there weren’t any soldiers in the area…am I right?”

“You got a point…that’s why we took so long to reach here…because we took an alternate route…and yet…there was no one here…”

“Do you think Pimpinela got them?”

“Probably…that bastard seems like he would take those guys down…”

Chelsea notices Emma with a worried expression:

“Emma…you look worried, is something wrong?”

“It’s nothing…it’s just that I haven’t had my body in years…and being here…”

“It makes you wonder whether you want Tiwa to return, right? I get it…it’s normal to feel that way…”

“You think so?”

“No it’s not hahaha…tell me, when on a normal day, you hear someone telling you that she doesn’t want to share a body with a ghost anymore…”

Emma looks at her in shock, she begins to chuckle; “You got a point there…but Tiwa needs me…and I want to help her even if I have to lend her my body…”

“Still…think about yourself too…do you want her to continue living your life?” Chelsea makes an important comment, Emma stops walking:

“I-I-I…”

Chelsea smiles; “Hey…don’t panic…let’s continue to walk…you will find your answer soon enough…”

“Your right…thank you…Chelsea…” Emma and Chelsea manage to catch up with Carlos and Flood.

After a few hours, the group arrives at the end of the corridor. At the end, there is a wall with a drawing of an eagle. Flood looks at it:

“It appears we’ve arrived at the shrine…”

“Sweet…but how will we open it…and how do we know that Tiwa is there…”

“She’s there…” Emma touches the wall and closes her eyes; “Tiwa is there…I know it…”

“So then…I guess we have no choice but to open it right?” Carlos changes into his esper suit and summons his katana.

Emma nods in agreement; “We need to save her…”

“Very well…everyone stand back…” Carlos prepares to swing his katana. Flood touches his shoulder:

“I will help you by boosting your strength…”

“Whoa my power is increasing…”

“My ability is to increase everything that I want…I’m Flood afterall…”

“VERY WELL…PARDON THE INTRUSION!” Carlos swings his katana with force. -SSLLLAASSHHH- With one swing, Carlos destroys the wall; “That was easy…”

“Someone has entered the shrine…” Hopi and Tiwa look at the wall. The group enters the shrine. Tiwa opens her eyes wider:

“They are my friends…”

“TTTIIIWWWAAA!!!” Emma runs towards Tiwa, Tiwa looks at her surprised; “Emma? Is that you?”

Emma runs towards Tiwa trying to hug her, but she passes right through her, she falls into the ground and chuckles; “Oh right…you’re a ghost…”

Tiwa looks around and sees everyone; “What are you guys doing here?”

“Isn’t obvious… we came to get our friend back…” Carlos and Chelsea respond to Tiwa.

“That’s right…Tiwa…please come back to us…please be by my side again…” Emma extends her hand. Tiwa looks at them with shock; “Everyone…”

“Tiwa…even if they are your friends…they trespassed sacred grounds…this is a sin…” Hopi looks angry.

Chelsea and Flood look up; “Is that mana?”

“It appears to be sun made out of mana…this is bad…if that mana is released or absorbed by someone…that power would be…beyond the charts…”

The Thunderbird flaps its wings.

(RRAAAAWWW)

“This is bad…Big Bird is pissed…” Carlos gets into a battle stance. Tiwa goes to the Thunderbird:

“Jumano wait…they are my friends…they mean no harm…”

“No Tiwa…there is another menace approaching…”

(BEEP BEEP BEEP)

At that moment, Flood’s watch starts to beep; “Oh no…everyone…take cover…”

(CCCRRRRAASSHHHH)

A part of the ceiling is destroyed as the Ogre falls and lands on the ground, on the ceiling a man enters the shrine:

“WHY HELLO MY FELLOW DARLINGS! PIMPINELA HAS ARRIVED!”

Pimpinela looks around and sees the mana sphere; “Oh my…that’s a lot of a mana…mind if I take it?”

Carlos immediately jumps towards him and tries to cut him. -PPPUUMM- The Bauk appears from his shadow and clashes with Carlos. Pimpinela chuckles:

“TOO BAD FOR YOU DEAR!! NOW MY PETS…DESTROYS THIS PLACE!”

(RRRRAAAWWW)

The Ogre attacks the ground, creating a giant crack. Flood attacks the Ogre; “I will increase your mana level…that way you will…”

(PPPUUUMMM)

The Ogre hits Flood, sending her flying to a wall. Carlos gets distracted; “FLOOD!”

“Oh you let your guard down dear…” Pimpinela proceeds to kick Carlos with force, sending him towards the ground.

(BBBOOOMMM)

Chelsea summons a pistol; “Now you made me mad…” -BANG BANG- Chelsea fires multiple times, Pimpinela summons more Sombras with his guitar. The Sombras charge straight at Chelsea:

“Damn it…not now…”

“Jumano…stop the intruder…” Hopi points at Pimpinela. Pimpinela chuckles; “Oh and now we have ghosts…this field trip turns out to be worth it…”

(RRRAAAWWW)

Jumano attacks Pimpinela with his lightning, Pimpinela dodges the lightning attacks; “Alright birdy…time for you to stop…”

-♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫-

Pimpinela plays musical notes with his guitar, the Thunderbird gets paralyzed; “Now then..time to get my prize…”

Pimpinela plays another note making the Thunderbird disappear.

“NOOO…” Tiwa screams as she tries to attack him but she passes through; “No…I’m a ghost…”

“Oh so you’re a little ghosty…but I see that she isn’t…”

Pimpinela notices Emma, he smiles and plays a note. At that moment, the Bauk appears behind her and cuts her in the abdomen.

(SSSLLLASSHHH)

Emma throws up blood. Tiwa and the others look at her with shock:

“EEEMMMMAAA!”

Pimpinela extends his hand; “Now to absorb all of my prize…Absorbatio” (Absorbation)

He proceeds in absorbing all of the mana in the sphere. Pimpinela chuckles as he has gained an enormous amount of power:

“EXCELLENT…I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A LONG TIME FOR THIS…NOW THEN…HERE IS THE LAST ABILITY THAT WE SHADOWTAMERS HAVE…”

With his other hand, Pimpinela releases the mana he absorbs and creates another being. A giant Sombra made out of black lightning similar to the Thunderbird:

“ALLOW ME TO PRESENT YOU…MY OWN THUNDERBIRD!”

(RRRAAWWWW)

The Black Lightning Thunderbird roars and releases an enormous amount of mana in the form of lightning, destroying the shrine completely and making the mountain collapse on top of everyone.

(BBBBBOOOMMMM)

“HAHAHA…INCREDIBLE…NOW THEN…TIME TO DESTROY SUNCITY!”

At that moment and without warning…Thunderbird mountain collapsed without any warning…creating a huge disaster…
