《Silent Poetry》As Far As My Eyes Can See
Advertisement
You break my heart, and I shatter yours
in the evil dark pain, agony, and gore.
A few black birds fly in between;
A few unexchanged words, rotten eyes, and green.
I have known this path for a long time since
we broke each other and went back then.
You come and fight with me; I mess things with us.
Coffee-stained poetry and black lipsticks smudged—
All across the table, my lips and tissue paper.
This earth's crazy in nothingness; only we will continue fighting forever.
You'll die one day, and so will my heart.
A lingering silence, melting candles, a shot of tequila—
no one gives a damn about such.
I am digging out the bruises from your wounded body;
it's smelling cold — no more like you.
And even if the others fade away, let them!
My eyes are blue in poison, and my heart's burning in black truths.
I want to burn this crumbled stuff and die only after I can see—
As far as my eyes can see: a rotten pouring silence wrapped in dead bodies.

Sufficiently Advanced
A Novella about magic vs aliens vs science. It's a raucous, campy sci-fi read involving humans gaining magic, a possibly pizza-hating alien empire, the decapitation of the US Federal Government, eldritch abominations, lesbian space witches and some medium-hard science.I wouldn't say it's not serious, but I wouldn't say it's serious. Eh, it's not serious. Wait... it's getting serious.
