E Chapter 134: The Monstrosity

Claude adjusted his gloves on both of his hands, a smile on his face.

Acting casually towards the teachers who are looking down on him. Claude simply smiles and lets his bloodthirst run wild.

Unlike Rudeus, who was believed to have a laplace factor, Claude, even if he had already reached the emperor rank, failed to enter the rank of God due to his inability to perform Continental destructive magic, still has only mana capacity comparable to the current Rudeus.

Claude can roughly analyze a person's mana capacity using one of his artifacts.

Arbalest used them to categorize their members' ranks using this artifact made by Fred and R Division members.

Thus, investigating the capacity of Ranoa students is a relatively easy process.

Unfortunately, Rudeus is the only individual who qualifies with Emperor-ranked mana capacity, while Fitts is the second-best with King-ranked mana capacity.

While the others are primarily Saint and lower, even among the professors, there are only a few who have the rank of Saint, and most of them only have Advanced rank capacity.

What's frightening about Rudeus is that his mana capacity is still expanding; slowly but steadily, Claude will be left in the dust.

Claude, on the other hand, may have less capacity, but his expertise with them is second to none among his age group.

He can cast a King-ranked spell using just Advanced grade spells, and an Emperor-ranked spell using the quantity needed to cast a Saint-ranked spell.

Unlike other magicians, Claude preferred to study how to use less mana when casting a spell. Not to mention that Claude has an extraordinary aura and is a dual who can utilize both magic and weapons.

"Ice, come forth and answer my call. Icy blast!"

"Rock Spear!"

“Protection!”

Spell after spell bombarded Claude from all angles, pointing at the shorter spell casting and straightforward usage on the caster. Claude couldn't help but sigh.

Wind bullet is made with a finger flick and assaulted the healer, casting protection in the rear and incapacitating them.

"No way! It's silent casting!"

"It's also fast!"

"This chap is a dual!"

"I've heard they're both physically strong and skilled at magic, but this is my first time seeing them! This is insane; who is this person?"

As the teachers have a better knowledge of the issue, they discover that the individual in front of them is more powerful than they anticipated. A simple finger flick can kill an experienced healer, and even they couldn't cast an intermediate rank spell without a wand.

"Increase the diversity of your attacks and deal with the situation better! Don't cast and target a moving enemy; instead, calculate the other person's trajectory! You proclaim yourself a fighting instructor, yet you can't even complete a simple math!"

Claude stated that before punching the teacher in the gut, he assaulted the healer and incapacitated them with intermediate magic.

But, knowing that intermediate magic is too powerful for the weak healer type magician, he stopped assaulting them entirely and focused on the buffed magician.

As he got closer to them, he taught the magician how to cast a spell and strike a moving enemy.

He never uses a spell stronger than intermediate, and he has already steamrolled the gathering of teachers.

The magic circle specialized teacher attempted to assist, but his speed to draw magic circle couldn't be of assistance because he didn't have any objects to build magic circle; noticing this, Claude raged at them and demonstrated how to create magic circle using mana.

"This is how you make a magic circle using mana!" A medium may be required, but it cannot be used openly on paper! Make some blood on the ground and use it to fight! You're so useless!"

He shouted this while throwing a water ball at the person's head, which caused him to groan on the ground.

Some of the brighter teachers attempted to imitate him but failed; nonetheless, some were successful in drawing a circle on the ground.

However, the spell is targeting his allies.

To stop the alleged teacher from killing his buddies, Claude only needed to fire a wind bullet at the circle to break the momentum.

The children got a chill as they saw the teacher being played on the ground.

Someone who taught at the university is played by a single person on a large enough scale for them to assault the man with magic after magic.

Fortunately, the ground will protect them from harm because a magical circle has been imbued on it to prevent any harmful damage.

But…

The emotional trauma caused by being defeated by someone their children's age may be more difficult to overcome.

It may appear to be a long time, but everything transpired in less than half an hour.

Only three persons stood tall in front of Claude in that brief period.

They appear disheveled and are doing everything they can to stand and cast spells faster and faster. Claude chuckled at this, but after 5 minutes, Claude incapacitates him to prevent him from emptying all of his mana within his body.

The other has already collapsed on the ground, breathing heavily, and looking at Claude with horror in their eyes.

After dealing with all the lecturer had to deal with, Claude paused and turned to face the students who were watching.

"The mandatory class will be held once every three months for professors, and once every two months for students for seven days!" Our first lesson will be held tomorrow for students in grades 7th and up, and will continue until we reach the 1st year students!"

"Unless you want to get expelled, no one can skip this lesson, so prepare yourself and have a pleasant evening!"

Claude then exited the arena, leaving the incapacitated teachers alone.

As he walked away from the ground, the students screamed in fear, wondering how they could ever live against a monster like Claude, and whether they should just prepare to be beaten.

Some may think highly of themselves and enjoy the challenge, but the majority will be terrified.

"We need to devise a strategy and work together!" Guys, we're going to have a meeting to figure out how to kill that beast!"

"I'll get to it!"

"All right, let's get started!"

Leaving aside the terrified 7th year student, Elinalize examines Claude's back, gulping at the display of strength. She couldn't help but inquire of Rudeus.

"Does that person claim to be Paul's disciple?"

“I… He was... yet I don't believe Paul is more powerful than him."

"Obviously, Paul cannot be so powerful."

"Damn, and he beat them all without using a weapon or breaking a sweat... Isn't that your favorite, Elinalize-san?"

"I'd love to share a bed with him, but he avoids me like the plague... You have no idea how his eyes look at me as if I were dirt. That brat is purer than the church's pope..."

"Yeah, He believes in true love and chastity before marriage. I can figure out why..."

The injured instructors were transported to the hospital on stretchers, and not only the personnel but even students assisted them.

Stretchers are used for individuals who are still unconscious, and people who are cognizant are given a shoulder.

This marked the end of the first day of the new semester, a day that no one realized would have such a large impact in the future.
