"No. She's a witch." Arihmatheo answers. "And she can sense our presence."

Some great sense she has.

"But I don't understand. We are inside your mind. It doesn't matter if she's a witch or not, she shouldn't be able to sense us." I point out. I don't know much about what's going but he said I'm in his mind, which means he's showing me something he has already witnessed. So how come she sense us in his mind.

Before Arihmatheo can answer, the woman in question shrugs and continue walking. "Let's table that for now, shall we?" He doesn't even wait for my response as he goes after Sabine.

Like the stalker we are, we follow Sabine to where she meets up with Eric at a flower shop, where he gifts her a single black rose. She collects the rose from him and smiles at him, watching him through her lashes as she twirls the rose in her hand. He leans closer to speak inside her ear and it obvious that she likes what he's telling her because her white skin goes pink as she blushes. I wish I can hear what they're talking about but it seems intimate and private. He leans away and the look he has on his face, God! I've never seen it before on anyone's face. It's like he's staring at his entire world.

He moves to tuck the loose strands of lock behind her ear before pulling her into a passionate kiss, right there in front of everyone. She wraps her arms around his torso and deepen the kiss.

"Wow, this is so sweet, Marco but can we skip to part where these two aren't attached by the lips. I mean, what am I even looking at?" I ask the man standing in front of him.

"I didn't tell you to call me, Marco." He answers with that.

"It's your name."

He doesn't say anything further. He keeps his body upright and look ahead, not taking his eyes off the lovebirds.

I'm not complaining about them, in fact I love the relationship they have. It's obvious that they love each other but this tells me nothing about why am I here. He said he wants to show me where I come from and I've been trying to see where I fit in this equation. Am I from this town or those two? I don't know and Arihmatheo won't tell me anything. He had no problems listing my flaws earlier and now he's been tight-lipped about the actual situation.

I don't say anything, I just watch Sabine and Eric kiss each other like there's no tomorrow. A man approaches them, tapping Sabine lightly on the shoulder and takes a step back. They let go of each other. She looks at the man and frown, he leans closer to say something to her and tap his wrist in a clock gesture. She nods and waves him off before looking at Eric. She says something and he nods. A bright smile covers her face as she stands on her toe and presses a quick kiss on his cheek before walking away from him.

Eric doesn't move from where he's standing, he watches her leave before his eyes casually falls on the ground. He bends down and picks something up before looking at the direction Sabine went. He stands up and holds a necklace up. He smiles and stuffs it inside his pocket. He turns his heels and walks away.

"Where to now?"

Arihmatheo begins to walk like he's been waiting for me to ask the question. He follows where Sabine went and we continue trailing her until she stops in front of a big mansion. I haven't seen the whole town but this house is the biggest I've seen so far.

The smile on her face fades as she states at the big building she's about to step into. She closes her eyes briefly before opening them and takes a deep breath. She walks up the stone steps that leads into the house and opens the door, letting herself in before closing the door behind.

I look at Arihmatheo, who doesn't stop walking. "Hmm..." The door is closed and I don't think we can–

Okay, spoke too soon.

Arihmatheo walks through the French doors without opening it. O...Kay, I follow his lead and close my eyes as I walk through. I open one eye to take notes of the environment. Sighing when I see we're inside.

Wow, this place is everything. We stand in the middle of two staircase that leads from up, I–,

"You were out with that boy again?" I turn my head to the sound of an angry voice. This is the first time I'm hearing someone speak since we begin our journey in his mind.

My eyes connects with the owner of the voice as he descends from the stairs in my right. And I thought Arihmatheo is intimidating. The man looks really scary in his all black suit with the black shirt peeking from under and the overall cloak makes him look like a Dracula. He is holding a cane, but doesn't really seem like he needs it, but still uses it to support himself, something about that cane feels familiar, I can't remember where I've seen it.

Sabine swallows and looks down. "Yes." She doesn't bother denying it.

"What did I tell you about ever seeing him again?" The sound of his cane and shoe is just as cold as his tone.

The more closer he gets, the more I get a good look at him. He shares a resemblance with Sabine through their skin and eye color. His jet black hair is slick back and it's until he reaches down that I see that it's actually long and tied at the back in a low ponytail.

"Father, I love–" Sabine's father interrupts her, and I'll say, he is not impressed with her.

"Finish that sentence, I dare you. I mean, how dare you say that to me? how dare you claim to love that monster? You-" He takes a threatening step towards her. "A daughter of a high born. My daughter, in love with a monster?"

What's the big deal if she's in love with him, I saw the attraction between Eric and Sabine. They truly love each other and if I was Sabine I would rebel against my father. He can't choose who she loves or not.

"We've talked about this, George, she loves him and he loves her, what's the problem?" A new voice steps in from the hallway. It's a woman in her late fifties, Sabine is a spitting image of her.

The man slams his cane on the ground and glares at his wife. "What do you know about him, Siobhan?" He asks in a demanding tone.

I can't imagine having a father or a husband like him.

Siobhan keeps her head low, she dares not look at him. "Nothing, High Father," she replies in a low tone and I can tell that she's terrified of him.

Did she seriously call her husband, High Father?

"You assume she is his wife." Arihmatheo says.

"Is she not?"

"Don't talk to her like that!" Sabine's voice comes crashing in before Arihmatheo can reply me. She is standing up to her father. That's my girl. "I love Eric and there is nothing you or the council can do about it especially since I'm pregnant," she reveals and quickly slaps a hand to her mouth and wishes she hadn't said it.

Siobhan and George both gasp.

I'm confused.

"What did you just say?" George asks as he takes another step towards her, Sabine keeps her head buried down as she takes steps back.

She halts when her back hits the wall, giving George the opportunity to touch her stomach, he closes his eyes and clenches his jaw. "Go to your room. Go to your room NOW!" He orders and Sabine doesn't have to be told twice, she runs upstairs.

Siobhan swallows hard as George turns to her. "Did you know?" He demands. "Is that why you are so supportive of their relationship?"

Siobhan keeps her head down. "Answer me when I'm talking to you, woman!" He yells as he moves swiftly and slams her against the wall with his hand wraps around her neck.

I didn't know I was moving until I feel Arihmatheo's hand on my shoulder, I look up to see him shaking his head. "You can't help her." He tells me.

"He is assaulting her."

"I know but there is nothing you can do about it," he whispers, and there is a hint of sadness in his voice. I'll be damned Arihmatheo showing a vulnerable side.

"Yes." Siobhan's voice came out as a whisper barely reaching us.

He tightens his grip on her throat and raises her up. "And yet you refuse to tell me. Now you will die for it " He whispers in her ear.

She smiles and spits in his face. "See… see… you… in… see you in hell," she manages to say as she chokes.

George smirks and drops the lifelessly body of Siobhan. He wasn't choking her for long, how– I get the answer to my question before even thinking it. I see blood pool at her body. Taking a close look and that's when I notice the marks on her neck. My eyes widens and look at George's hand.

Are those claws?

"Clear the thrash and summon all the leaders, I need to speak with them and someone get me the sisters." He orders and disappears.

I glare at Theo, "I told you there was nothing you could do." He reminds me.

"I know, but you could have told me what happened." I say.

He shrugs and frowns when he looks at me. "You look pale. What do you feel?"

"Hmm... I–headache." I wasn't feeling this before but now it's there.

"You've seen enough, time to go back." He says.

"Excuse me, I don't think I heard you clearly. Did you just say time to go back?" I ask and he raises his eyebrows. "You haven't told me why we are here and I want to know what happened to Sabine and Eric." I argue. He brought me here without my permission and hell if be thinks he'll send me away without it. I really want to know what happened.

"After everything and you still don't get it. Are you deliberately being stupid or you really don't know?"

What?

"I wouldn't be asking if I knew."

He sighs and answers.

"Sabine and Eric are your parents. That unborn child she just announced is you."

My eyes widens at the revelation. What? I did not see that coming. I mean, I did but it's somehow. How can they be my parents? I–

"You've seen enough to make figure out the remaining on your own. May we never see each other again. Good bye." He rushes out and snaps his finger.

I open my eyes slowly and see the distorted version of who I think is the headmaster.

"Camille?"

I close my eyes and open it again, seeing the headmaster hovering over me.

"Camille, are you okay?" He asks, his face full of concern.

"Hmm..." I feel a pain in my hand, I look down to see IV connected to my hand.

"Yes, I'm fine. Wha–what happened? Where am I?" I ask not because I don't remember what happened, but I need someone to explain how I was in my physical form.

"Jessica found you passed out in the library. You were bleeding so much from whatever attacked you. Do you remember anything about what attacked you? We've looked everywhere but we couldn't find anything, not even on the CCTV." He informs me.

So Arihmatheo's monster really did hurt me.

I raise my hand up and notice a fading bruise of the monster's grip. It's already fading.

"How long have I been here?" I ask curiously.

"You were out for two weeks Camille, you were practically dead." He answers.

My mouth drops open.

Two days! But it only felt like thirty minutes when I was there. Arihmatheo, that slimy stupid son of a bitch.

I don't care about that, what matters is that I know who my biological parents are. Sabine and Eric. I just didn't get their last names.
