《Bleen Fada - The Legendary Pathfinder》Author's notes

Hey!
Unfortunately, today this note is not the fun one. You might have seen it coming with my life going awry in october, and my job needing most of my energy more recently. I've decided to continue differently with this novel. The schedule I'm forcing on myself is becoming too hard to follow, and I don't find any more joy in writing in these conditions.
Don't get me wrong. I'm still enjoying very much writing about Mahon's adventures, and every time I'm sitting in front of my computer and writing, I'm loving it. Unfortunately, these moments are becoming rarer and rarer. The publishing schedule, my patreon, and your enthusiasm were the only things driving me forward, but it's been some times now that I feel compelled to write rather than enjoying it.
Today, I feel it's too hard to follow along, and I've came to the decision to drop both my patreon and my schedule. Many things could happen after that, but I've always been honest with you, and I plan to stick to that resolution.
The most likely scenario is me droping writing entirely, and you and me will never see the end of this story. I'd prefer continue writing, but I've realized how much stress it put on me in the last two week break when everything flew away, and I know there are great chances that I'll not write anything in the following months. After that? I don't know. I might find joy in writing again, and maybe I'll continue at my own rhythm but nothing could be less certain.
The scenario I'd rather prefer is me finding the strength to write up to the end of book 2 (that is chapter 200) in the coming months before dropping this story for some time. As such, you would not be left halfway through a book, although the whole story wouldn't be completed.

Maybe. And that's a big maybe, I just need a big untimed break, and I'll get drawn back towards writing the next books like a moth to the light, but I'd rather say it's not happening than give you false hope.
I'm sorry for the bad news, and I wanted to thank you all again for your support and many comments along the way. I wouldn't even have make it this far without you.
I wish you the best of luck in your life,
YXplorer.
PS: I'll publish the next six chapters that were advanced chapters for my patreon over the next two weeks, with the usual schedule, before I'll revert to a no-schedule, and we'll all see what happens. I'll try to keep you updated if I've written anything.
PS2: If for any reason some of you want to drop this story righ here and right now, I completely understand it, and if for some reason you can't feel at ease without knowing answers to some secrets, I know them all. I've drafted the end of this story and the path to it. If you can promise not to spoil others, I will answer all of your questions in MP if you want to.

Delve
Truth hides behind action. Delve. A word with many meanings. It may refer to an abyss, a dark place of no return or may also be a refuge, a haven of retreat from the harshness of the outside. None of those are right to me. For me, to delve is to seek the truth. Delving into that dark abyss and coming back with answers. To leave that safe refuge and suffer the pain of the outside just because it is real. This is the story of me delving deep into the truths of the universe. Suffering things that should not be suffered in search of things that should not be known. Once a common man, drowned in the same questions that have plagued humanity since the beginning of times, now I have found my answers. Now I have meaning. Delve, and you shall have yours as well. Jack is a regular citizen of modern society: he works on an office, uses public transport every day, receives a meager salary, and drowns his frustrations with entertainment and alcohol. Maybe, the only thing that sets him apart from many others, is his unique outlook on life. Despite feeling an unfillable void in his soul and suffering from deep depression, he still sees as his duty to be a functional, exemplary member of society. All in order to prove his life-goal point: no matter how good you are, life is still shit. This point-of-view, however, will be challenged by circumstances as a mysterious encounter with a weirdly dressed man takes him to a strange and dark cave. In this place, he will have to fight for his life against fantastical creatures from fiction, and more importantly, get face to face with his own nature. In doing so, he will uncover secrets about the cave that will change both him and all he ever thought to be true.

A Japanese otaku and an American geek would become trapped inside, and forced to fight for survival against computer viruses and other crazed players that had taken over the virtual reality world.
