It was a calm day in hogwarts, the fresh air of the spring morning lingered around the school grounds.
A few prefects that had held watch in front of their common rooms this night, were now enjoying the fresh air, some already walking back into the castle, towards the great hall.
The great hall was a little emptier then usual this morning, as it was the weekend.
Some students were studying while having breakfast, some others were talking and a few just took a nap on the table.
In the middle of all that was Karl.
He sat on the Hufflepuff table, next to Bad who was trying to remember what the last ingredient for a veritas serum was.
His gaze constantly peaked over to the Gryffindor table. Where was Sapnap?
They usually always met on weekend mornings to go on little walks together.
Suddenly Sapnaps owl Fire landed on the table and held out his claw with a little note.
Karl gave her a cracker and took the note, patting her before opening it.
Good morning, darling.
I'm sorry that I'm not there yet, I'm very sick.
I don't think I can go for a walk.
- Sapnap
Karl let out a concerned noise and quickly took a cloth out of his bag, wrapped some of the breakfast in it and stood up.
"I'll go and look after Sapnap, he says he's sick", he told Bad as he picked Fire up and sat her on his shoulder. "Oh no, tell him to get well soon", Bad said and Karl nodded. "I will"
Together with Fire he walked up to the Gryffindor tower and was met with the portrait. "Password?" "I believe it was verum dixit", Karl said and she nodded, opening the doorway. Karl stepped inside and quickly walked to Sapnaps room.

He knocked and slowly pushed the door open. "Good morning, love", he said softly and he saw Sapnap smile when he realized that it was him. He was pale and red around the nose and cheeks.
"Good morning, darling", Sapnap replied, voice hoarse and rough.
"I got some breakfast for you and I thought I'd bring Fire back, just in case you need to write more notes to people", Karl said and closed the door behind him, walking closer.
"Don't come too close, you'll be sick too", Sapnap said and Karl shook his head.
"There is no way I'm not going to kiss you and give you cuddles to make you feel better.", Karl said and put down the breakfast on Sapnaps lap, before kissing him gently, "No eat while I open a window, I'm gonna cure you the best muggle way I know"
"You think a muggle cure helps a fullblood wizard?" "Yes. It helps everybody.", Karl said and flicked his wand to make a cup of tea appear, while Sapnap started eating breakfast. "Here you go, tea.", Karl said, before opening the window, "And fresh air"
Fire sat down on Sapnaps shoulder and nudged his cheek with her head.
He smiled gave her gentle head scratches, before holding her a piece of his bacon.
"There you go", he said as she happily devoured the treat.
"Get out of bed for a second", Karl said and Sapnap stood up, got himself another kiss, before Karl aired out his bedsheets and pillows. "Now you can lay back down, my love", Karl said and Sapnap did, quickly felt Karls hand on his forehead.
"God, you're really hot", he said and Sapnap smirked. "And how is my fever?"
Karl chuckled and kissed his cheek.
"Also very hot", he said and smiled fondly at Sapnaps softly smile.

"I love you", Sapnap mumbled and Karl gently caressed his cheek as he said: "I love you too, now finish your breakfast and then we will take a nap" "We?" "Of course, I know you sleep better when we cuddle and I'm a little tired myself" "I don't want you to get sick", Sapnap said, it Karl was already changing into some of Sapnaps comfy clothes. "And I don't care", Karl replied and Sapnap shook his head, smiling as he finished his breakfast. He was sneezing and coughing a few times, finally finished his tea, before Karl closed the window and got under the sheets with him.
He felt Sapnap adjust and lay down on his chest. Gently Karl started giving him head scratches and heard Sapnap hum approvingly. "You like that?", Karl asked and Sapnap smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I'm gonna fall asleep like this", he mumbled and Karl smiled. "You can go to sleep, I'll hold you, love" "I love it when you call me love", Sapnap sighed sleepily, as he closed his eyes.
Within seconds he was asleep and Karl gently kept running his fingers through his hair and whispered soft compliments every once in a while to make sure Sapnap would have the sweetest dreams.
After half an hour he fell asleep as well and they only woke up when the door to the dorm opened. "I'll be right back out", Skeppy said, "Bad just wants my hoodie and I don't wanna get sick"
He quickly left again, while Karl pushed a few strands of hair behind Sapnaps ear.
"Good morning", he said and smiled and Sapnap smiled as well, dozy and happy.
"Morning, darling", he mumbled and almost giggled when Karl kissed him, "I feel better already" "That's nice, love. I'll get you water, yeah?" "No, stay", Sapnap said and hugged him tightly, hiding his face in Karls shirt.
Karl smiled fondly and hugged him back.
"Okay, but I'll get water in a few minutes"
"Can't you just-", Sapnap made movements with his left hand as if he held a wand, "That?"
Karl chuckled and kissed his head.
"You're right, but my wand is over there and I can't reach it", he said and Sapnap groaned, frustrated. "Later, all later. Now cuddle.", he mumbled sleepily and closed his eyes again.
"You wanna go to sleep again?", Karl asked and Sapnap shook his head. "I just wanna cuddle with you. Forever.", he said and stretched up to reach Karls neck, pressing a soft kiss to the skin, "Because I love you and I'm sick and I need you to cuddle me till I'm healthy again" "You're so cute when you're sleepy", Karl said and Sapnap smiled.
"You're very cute all the time", he replied and felt another kiss on the top of his head, "I love you so much" "I love you so much too, love"
