Early in the morning, I walk down the street

I keep thinking about the snow that's falling

The snow falls so softly in the air

I can't help but feel reminiscent

It's so cold, I want to be in your arms

But I can't move, it's so dark

Elements of winter, for some reason it feels melancholic

Even though it's a time where happiness is all around

A cold winter is somehow so calming, and it truly makes me happy

The snow is so pretty, and the scenery is just enlightening

But the snow, cold air, and the movement of my breath

There always seems to be a sadness that's attached

Winter is the name for tears

Soft flakes that kiss my ice cold cheeks
