Meanwhile, after leaving the cabin, Taehyun start to walk without even looking and he suddenly bumped into someone making the person fall. It was Dahye, before he could catch her, someone else caught her just in time. He looked at the person and it was Seojun. He then glared at Seojun and went away from there. Seojun felt weird after he saw Taehyun glaring at him like that.

"What happened to him?"

Seojun wondered and Dahye lowered her head.

Chaeryeong was watching everything and she went to Dahye.

"Are you alright?"

She asked with concern, Dahye was actually shocked after Chaeryeong's behaviour, she could only nod.

"Chaeryeong, Mr Kang wants you and Taehyun to meet him at the construction site of the new hotel."

Kai said and Chaeryeong nodded.

Chaeryeong nodded and put her sunglasses on, she signaled Dahye and Seojun and they started to walk after her. Her personality was no joke. She was really disciplined during work hours. She never compromised with her work. Soon the three of them reached the parking lot. Seojun and Dahye sat on the front and Chaeryeong on the last.

Seojun was looking at Dahye during the whole ride and she was also stealing glances with him. Chaeryeong noticed this and she smiled a bit and look outside the window. Soon, they reached the construction site. Taehyun and Kai also came out from their car.

"Good afternoon Mr Kang."

Kai bowed at Taehyun's father. He greeted back and he looked at Taehyun who didn't have any expressions at all.

"Good to see you here, I'm glad you didn't make up any excuses this time."

His father said.

"Why are we here?"

Taehyun asked.

"Oh Chaeryeong, please come here!"

His father said.

"Good afternoon Mr Kang!"

She said and he smiled.

"Good to see you both here!"

He said joyfully.

"I want to tell you both that you both should go to a nice vacation, after all it's been a year since you both got married and you both barely got any time to spend with each other."

Mr Kang said.

"I'm sorry Mr Kang but madam is really busy this month, we'll let you know when she would be free."

Seojun said while smiling, but he had anything else going on his mind. He had always been like that. He was always in limelight with Chaeryeong. The way he worked was immaculate. He even got many job offers from multinational companies but he denied all of them since he was grateful of Chaeryeong for providing him job when he needed it the most. His way of working is really good, almost as accurate and good as Chaeryeong.

"I'm so sorry but you shouldn't be saying this, that's her personal matter."

Mr Kang said with a little anger.

"I'm her personal assistant sir"

He said and Chaeryeong smiled.

"Ask your secretary about it."

Mr Kang said.

"Sir, she actually is very busy this month. I can't postpone them. They're really important."

Dahye said in lower voice. Chaeryeong smiled at her and looked at Mr Kang.

"What are trying to prove?!"

Taehyun suddenly spoke. All of them looked at him with surprise.

"What are you trying To prove by this?! If you don't want to see me then just say it!"

Taehyun said while going towards Chaeryeong.

"How could you even think that?!"

Chaeryeong asked him in disbelief, she never thought that a day would come where he would doubt her.

"Seojun, I'll send the car for you Dahye in a minute, I'm going."

Chaeryeong said while again putting her sunglasses on.

"Listen ma'am, everyone is watching. Please!"

Dahye said trying to stop Chaeryeong.

"Leave me alone Dahye."

She said in a lower voice.

"But-"

"I said leave!"

Chaeryeong said as she shook her hand but she did it with all of her power making her fall on ground.

"Watch out!"

Seojun screamed when he saw some metal rods were about to fall on her. Taehyun ran as fast as he could. He hugged Dahye and picked her up while hugging, Dahye had her eyes closed. Chaeryeong quickly ran to them and cupped Dahye's face.

"Are you alright Dahye?!"

She asked with concern. Dahye was surprised after seeing Chaeryeong worrying about her.

"Just stop Chaeryeong! You only cause trouble, what if something happened to her?!"

Taehyun said parting both of them.

"If that is so, then I'll go away from you, so far from you that you won't be able to find where I am!"

Chaeryeong said with tears in her eyes. She marched towards the car before sitting in the car, she stopped and looked at Seojun.

"I'll send another car for you both, and take her to hospital"

She said and she sat inside the car and left in no time.

Taehyun also sat in the car and so did Kai. Soon, Mr Kang also drove off and Seojun and Dahye were still there waiting for the car.

"Can I ask you something?"

Seojun asked at Dahye looked at him.

"How do you know Chaeryeong? I mean it is really obvious that you both knew each other."

Seojun asked curiously. Dahye lowered her head and sighed.

"You know Seojun, I usually don't tell people about it but you're an exception."

She said making Seojun smile.

"And why is that?"

Seojun asked trying to look in her eyes. Dahye was startled after seeing him that close to her. They both started to look at each other until Dahye looked down.

"It's because you saved my life, I really owe you one."

She said and Seojun smiled.

"About a year ago, I was dating Taehyun."

Seojun's eyes widened after hearing that.

"Yes, Kang Taehyun. We used to be in the same college. And Chaeryeong was also our classmate. I came to know that Taehyun secretly likes Chaeryeong. I did everything so that he hates her and I even succeeded. He was really popular and so was I. And I didn't like the fact that he chose her over me. It hurt my pride so I made him hate her and made him my boyfriend but it didn't feel that good. He showered his love towards me but I didn't love him. I felt really bad after I parted them apart. I was such a horrible person. And that's when her family sent a marriage proposal. And I decided that I had to back off from him and I made him marry her."

Tears took over her eyes while saying that. She had a shaky voice.

"I am so disgusted by myself. I still hate myself for doing that. Now, I want to repay her by working for her forever."

Dahye said with tears in her eyes. Seojun didn't even know what to say.

"Knew it, you will hate me after you learn the truth."

Dahye said as she got up wiping her tears.

The car stopped in front of them. Dahye stood up and as she was about to walk, Seojun held her hand.

"I don't hate you, and I never will, it's good to hear that you've realised your mistake and now you're the better version of yourself now."

Seojun said as Dahye looked at him in disbelief.

"I can never hate you Dahye, never!"

He said as Dahye stared right in his eyes. Seojun smiled at her and she felt her heart beating violently. She put her hand on her chest as if she was trying to stop her heart from beating that fast.

"Let's go."

He said and both of them sat inside the car. Dahye started to look outside the window but not with any dissapointment or any sadness but with a smile.

"I've never felt like this with anyone else. Even not Taehyun, is this.....love?"
