《World Of Swords》Flower

Inside of an enourmous hole stood two cultivators, or rather, a cultivator and a part of a cultivator.
While Li Fengfeng had a hole inside of his chest, as his heart was seemingly destroyed, Xia Jingfei was missing the entirety of her lower body, as a clean cut was clearly visible where her waist used to be.
Suddenly, Xia Jingfei spat out a mouthful of blood before letting out several coughs, causing more and more blood to fall out of her mouth.
As if triggered by Xia Jingfei, Li Fengfeng also spat out a mouthful of blood, but compared to Xia Jingfei he seemed relatively less injured.
"It looks like I won this fight," said Xia Jingfei as she looked at Li Fengfeng, at the same time, the lower half of Xia Jingfei's body began regenerating at a fast speed.
Hearing that, Li Fengfeng looked down, towards his chest and the hole present where his heart used to be, looking at the new heart, which was slowly but surely growing.
Even though the word 'slow' was used, Li Fengfeng's heart was still regenerating at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Although his heart was regenerating at what was considered an incredible speed, compared to Xia Jingfei, who seemed rather unkillable, Li Fengfeng could not hope to compare himself.
Suddenly, Li Fengfeng felt saw Xia Jingfei place her hand on his shoulder, just as he was about to ask what she was going to do, Li Fengfeng felt an incredibly pure aura converge where his heart used to be.
And merely a few moments later, not only had Li Fengfeng gained a new heart but at the same time, the large hole in his chest was also healed.
"Thank you," said Li Fengfeng before flying towards Ling Chen, Lin Fan and Lin Yun, who were some distance away.

Hearing that, Xia Jingfei couldn't help but chuckle before following Li Fengfeng.
...
Looking at the enourmous hole that she was now flying in, Lin Yun couldn't help but open her mouth.
"They aren't stronger than brother already, are they?" mumbled Ling Yun as she watched the two cultivators quickly fly towards them.
But before Ling Yun could say anything else, a frown appeared on Lin Fan's face.
'I underestimated them,' thought Lin Fan as he felt the formations the System had set up around this area crack.
'It probably caused a large disturbance in the outside world,' thought Lin Fan before a void ship suddenly appeared in front of him.
Compared to the void ship that Lin Fan had five thousand years ago, this one was somewhat smaller and less flashy.
"We can talk later, we need to go now otherwise we might have some company," said Lin Fan as he turned his head towards the crack in the formations.
Noticing Lin Fan's actions, Ling Chen couldn't help but shake his head.
"Although our pursuers probably won't attack us, it's good to be cautious," said Ling Chen as he got on the flying ship, followed by Lin Yun, Li Fengfeng and Xia Jingfei.
Merely a moment later, the void ship suddenly disappeared, beginning to travel at an incredible speed.
Under the effect of Lin Fan's Major Trancendance cultivation base, as well as this powerful void ship, the speed at which the group traveled was truly incredible.
Several minutes later,
A few flies suddenly appeared inside of the giant hole, loitering around the place where Ling Chen and the rest of the group were just a few minutes ago.
But upon noticing that none of their targets were still there, the flies quickly dispersed in different directions, before turning into ash a few moments later.

...
Looking at the four cultivators before him, Ling Chen couldn't help but take in a deep breath, already feeling a headache.
"So, when did you also experience an assassination attempt at the hands of those bugs?" asked Ling Chen as he turned to Xia Jingfei, who also was looking at the other geniuses present on the void ship.
"Thankfully, for my first encounter with them, I was not their target, they even wanted to recruit me," said Xia Jingfei as some disdain appeared on her face.
Hearing that, a frown appeared on Lin Fan's face.
"What were you doing at that time?" asked Ling Fan wanting to confirm the guess that appeared in his mind.
"I had just finished having fun with the genius that they were after, and once they saw that their target was already dead, they turned to me, wanting to recruit me," said Xia Jingfei as she turned to Ling Fan.
Hearing that answer, the lips of the other four cultivators couldn't help but slightly twitch.
'You were having fun with him and then he died,' thought Ling Chen as his lips twitched, even though he had heard of Xia Jingfei's reputation, hearing the words coming out of her mouth, he couldn't help but make a promise.
'I better not offend this woman, otherwise, I might die without a grave,' thought Ling Chen as he felt a chill in his heart.
Meanwhile,
'System, have you managed to measure her true power?' asked Lin Fan as he, at the same time as this was happening, began talking with the other geniuses.
[Based on observations, Xia Jingfei is cultivating the Dao of Devouring, but it seems like she has obtained or created a method to devour Dao's, using that method to create that strike that you saw earlier, it looks like she is just below yourself in power, just like Li Fengfeng]
'Do you think she created the technique or obtained it?' asked Lin Fan, feeling like the possibility that Xia Jingfei created the technique was extremely large.
[The chance that Xia Jingfei created this technique herself is over ninety-nine percent]
Hearing that, Lin Fan couldn't help but fall deeper into his thoughts.
...
Looking at the endless icy forest around her, Xu Yue smiled before turning towards the enormous tree in the middle of the forest.
Suddenly, the huge tree, thousands of Li large quickly began drying up under Xu Yue's gaze, and a several Li large flower bud slowly began growing on it, causing a smile to appear on Xu Yue's face.

The Good Necromancer
Hundreds of years ago, shortly after the Great Cataclysm which destroyed the Ancient World, was the Age of Heroes. One of these great heroes started off in the most hated profession of the time, Necromancer. Join him and his comrades as they accomplish the first of the Good Necromancers legendary tasks. ***** So, quick update for those who pay attention to this section. I'm finally coming out of finals for this semester, and I plan on getting the whole already posted section revised. It's taken me a while to change the necessary things, as I had to start all the way over, but I've at least got the rough drafts for all the revised chapters. These should be going up within the next week or so, still have to go to work, but I am here, I haven't forgotten or dropped the story. Just trying to make this the best work that I can produce. P.S. I will be releasing additional stories. They are all going to be in the Good Necromancer world, however the others will give you an idea on how humans in other locations survived and have thrived. Or not. =)

Carus - Libertas
participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge and also having a go at NaNoWriMo this November. This was a first draft published as it was written for Nanowrimo November 2020. A little rough around the edges, I hope to come back and edit at some point, and then continue the story on. In the grand scheme of things Elias was nothing special. Which was why he was surprised by a random company on a new colony planet buying out his contract. That was the problem with the large companies that ruled the colonies, once they owned your contract, they owned you. Imagine the greater surprise when he learnt that the new company held the promise of freedom. Not from the constant battle against the Swarm that were also trying to claim the colony planets for their own. Nor from the Crust, the mysterious substance that covered the same planets and held the resources they all fought for. No, the freedom from being oppressed by those with more power and to finally decide where to go and where to set down roots and call home.
