《UNORTHADOX ~ Anakin x Reader Fanfic》03

We were escorting the trader to the holding cell where he would await trial. I doubt Palpatine will let him live. I thought, smirking. After consorting with the enemy, the Jedi, force knows what he told them, there was no way he was making it out of this alive.
"Master, do you think we could try and get some answers out if him before it's too late," I whispered to him.
Patorr nodded and we made a turn towards the interrogation room, walking around the labyrinth of the Imperial Star Destroyer, I myself got lost wandering the endless halls sometimes.
We made it to the room, where a sleek white table with two chairs on one side and a bar for handcuffs on the ceiling on the other side. We chained him up to the bar, receiving much thrashing and retorts from the man.
My comlink beeped and I spoke into it,"y/l/n here."
I heard Emperor Palpatines snake like voice from the other end,"We request your prescence in the meeting room, I have sent people down there to complete the interrogation. For now we have some questions on the mission, be fast."
"You heard him, let's go," Patorr said quitely, "and you," He said to the whimpering man,"don't have any ideas, there's no point."
With that, he turned and I followed him down the corridor to the meeting room.
We entered to see General Krannus, Emperor Palpatine and other members of the board sat around the long table, serious expressions on their faces, ugly ones at that, as usual.
"Please, take a seat," snarled Palpatine, gesturing to the seats next to him at the end of the table.
We did as we were told and sat opposite each other, serious, dutiful expressions now plastered on our faces.
"We got the trader as you asked and he is currently being held in a cell. It didn't take much to get him to comply, he's a weak one," Gale started.
"And the Jedi?" Palpatine questioned, his hood casting an ominous shadow on his wrinkled face, his thin sneery lips the only thing visible. Cold and intimidating as usual.

"We didn't seem to encounter any," Gale said, a hint of worry in his eyes. I immediately thought to the encounter I had with one, and remembered the Jedi running after us on our ship. "Although, I think y/n may perhaps have something to share," He smirked at me. Of course, he can read minds.
"Well, I can vaguely remember their appearance," I began, keeping my eyes on Palpatine as he stood.
"I can make that image slightly clearer," He sneered, pressing his fingers against my temples. His ice cold touch caused me to shudder for a split second as I shut my eyes. Out of nowhere, a searing pain racked my brain, tendrils of seething pain throbbing through my head, searching, looking, tunneling, until the pain was focused in one small area. A single tear fell down my face from the affliction, now that the agony was over.
He had found the memory.
"Hmm, I see," He grumbled, still standing over me. He removed his hands and I let out a slow deep breath, trembling slightly from the distressing sensation I had just felt.
Since when could he do that, go searching through people's memories.
"Oh, far longer than you'd think," He said, sitting down. I wasn't even surprised he could hear my thoughts. I'd have to learn to suppress people from doing that soon, I knew I could.
Gale cleared his throat,"So, these... Jedi, they aren't a threat, I'm sure we can exterminate them soon enough,"
"Do not underestimate them, the ways of the Jedi cannot be overlooked. You must think of an attack plan in your time after this meeting, as you shall leave tomorrow. I am trusting you with this, you have great potential y/n, and I also have great faith in Patorr to not let me down. " He then turned on a more stern tone, "You both know the consequences..."
"We will not let you down Emperor," Gale spoke.
The Emperor waved his hand as a dismissal and we both stood up and bowed, before leaving the room.
"I suggest you meditate, the events from today may be useful in our hunt for them. I shall devise a plan while you do," Gale said.

"Of course Master," I bowed and walked away towards my room on the ship.

I sat with my legs crossed, arms resting gently on my lap as I hovered slightly off the ground. My mind was elsewhere. Not on the starship, not on our mission, not on the Sith. On him.
I felt a surge of pure, burning hatred as my mind conjured up his face. His eyes. His cheekbones. I then saw the braid falling down the side of his face and I went numb, the prescence of the Jedi was always an uneasy one.
This meditation was meant to calm me down, reflect on the days mission, not fill my thoughts with such darkness. Although I suppose I was a Sith, and we hatred fuels our being.
I kept the feeling at bay, let the flushes of anger wash over me as I pictured his face.
My mind soon drifted to the memory of them running after us. My vision zoomed in on the other man's face. I saw in perfect detail how he also had blue eyes, and a soft beard framing his face. He emitted a power greater than that of his counterpart. That must've been his Master.
I couldn't believe I was feeling this, it felt as though I weren't in control of my mind, as though it were guiding me.
My mind suddenly went blank, a void of darkness surrounding me. Out of the abyss came a familiar figure. I could recognise his face from anywhere now, it had been on my mind ever since we got back, as though it had seared a hole in my brain.

His pov
I was in a deep state of meditation, I felt it would help shake the feeling of her off me. All I could think of was her as she moved her hips to the music rhymically in that black dress. Though the moment her y/e/c eyes gazed into mine, I sensed an evil so deep, yet a hot flush came across me. I knew I had to turn away.
I turned my thoughts elsewhere. To the changeling we had found, if only we could've got answers. I became frustrated and switched my kind to focus on the task at hand currently. Padme. My feelings for her were always present, although since today I had felt them quake slightly.
I was focusing on Padme, struggling against my thoughts of the girl at the club.
Then my mind went blank.
I was surrounded my total darkness. I could feel an evil presence. I saw her figure approach me, her hips swaying as she walked. Why couldn't I keep my thoughts away from the club...
~~~~
y/n's pov
His tall build approached me.
He lifted his hand
~~~~
She lifted her hand
~~~~
My own hand began rising slowly, until it felt the warm touch of his.
I wasn't in control, I was trying so hard to remove my palm from his, yet it stayed placed gently on his.
~~~~
My hand stayed placed on her ice cold palm.
~~~~
I looked up to meet his eyes.
~~~~
I looked up to meet her eyes, her intense stare sending unnerving pulses through me.
~~~~
We just stood, hands touching, eyes gazing. I couldn't move, I couldn't breath.
I knew i had to escape.
Suddenly his being was torn away and he was hurled back into the abyss he came from, disappearing.
~~~~
"Anakin, get up," Obi-Wan shook me,"By force, you were in some kind of trance!"
I jolted and fell from my meditative state.
"Yeah, it was some kind of meditation," I said quitely. I felt sick to my core. Being close to a Sith had disturbing effects it turned out.
~~~~
My eyes rolled deep into my head as I fell from the trance, collapsing on the floor.
My breaths were heavy and fast, making up for the time I spent suffocated.
I didn't understand. Why him. A Jedi!
I needed to gain control of my thoughts more, I wouldn't let this happen again.
I stood up, my feeling jolting between anger and confusion as I entered my bathroom.
I took a cold shower, hoping it would wash off him from my mind, he had plagued my thoughts enough today.
STAR WARS: Knights of the Old Republic
Four thousand years before Anakin Skywalker was born, the Jedi thrived as the guardians of peace in the galaxy. The Republic, weakened by a costly war with the Mandalorians, faces now another great threat. A false Sith Empire created by two fallen Jedi, Revan and Malak, has risen from the ashes of that war. Now the Republic is on the brink of defeat to their once great hero, now turned Darth Revan. Hoping to protect the Republic at all costs, the Jedi dispatch an elite strike force to capture the Dark Lord. To the dismay of the Jedi, Revan is betrayed and killed by his apprentice Darth Malak, who proclaims himself the new Dark Lord of the Sith. Now with the entire galaxy at stake, the Jedi and the Republic must go to extreme lengths if they are to survive the seemingly endless forces the new Sith ruler commands. Only by the will of the Force, will they survive... This is a novelization of the popular video game by Bioware. One of my favorite stories within the Star Wars universe, I am putting my own little twists and style on this story in a way I could see potentially fitting into the new canon by Disney. I will be releasing new chapters periodically with the goal of trimming the story down a little bit as well. Enjoy, and of course constructive criticism always welcome, and if you like what you're reading, consider voting for my story.
