Ian’s mana takes the shape of a purple beast with horns, Uriel takes a stance, his mana turns into a combination of black and red color. Ian charges at Uriel as he chants; “Urla ghoul” (Ghoul’s howl)

Uriel and Ian clash their fist, creating a giant explosion.

At the moment of the clash…another event occurred at the outskirts of the city…in the North western part of the mountains…there was a pueblo…that pueblo was home of the famous Ysleta tribe…

In a cave located at the outskirts of the pueblo…a powerful presence emerged…

(BADUMP BADUMP BADUMP)

“It appears something else has been released…” El Muerto, a hooded man with a skeleton mask, notices something weird and immediately disappears in a portal.

He appears near the pueblo as he chuckles:

“So then…Thunderbird mountain…it appears he has emerged from slumber…it’s been 100 years my good old friend…I wonder what destruction will you do…”

A huge explosion of thunder shakes the cave. At that moment, a powerful aura emerges from the cave in the form of lightning.The lightning takes the form of a giant bird as it slowly flies to the sky.

El Muerto opens another portal; “There has been a disturbance in the volt…someone wants to steal the gem…” El Muerto disappears in the portal.

The bird emerges to the sky and creates lightning storm clouds and creates a thunderstorm. A figure comes out of the cave as well. The figure has the shape of a woman covered in a white dress and glows a special aura. She looks up and extends her arms:

“Oh my dear…Jumano…you still don’t have the power to support your form…please rest…rest and stay strong…we will punish those who betrayed us…when the time arrives…for now…stay in the heavens and rest…”

The ghost disappears, the bird dissolves and fuses with the clouds and heads towards north.

At that moment, the legend of the thunderbird emerged and with it…a new foe appeared on the borderland…but the bird disappeared for a couple of months until one night…

During this time…Uriel and Alejandro traveled to Mexico to have an investigation and soon encountered the Aztecs Gods ( Volume 6). This is a special story on what happened during that night…A special mission of the HISTOREA Alliance involving Tiwa, Carlos and Chelsea….

In a chinese restaurant located at the “Fountains”, a very famous mall where teenagers like to hang out...a part of the HISTO.RE.A. Alliance had a “secret” meeting…

“So then, why are we here?” Carlos asks as he eats a bowl of ramen; “Seriously, I have better things to do…”

Carlos Valverde is a Branch agent of Yggdrasil, He has black hair and dark blue eyes with white skin. He has a muscular body and normal height. He has an arrogant attitude and always fights with Chelsea. He is secretly in love with Kasumi.

“You mean play video games, then watch porn?” Chelsea mocks Carlos who gets embarrassed: “Oh shut up…” Carlos looks away thinking; “Damn it...that was just what I was thinking…”

“Oh come on...we’re a team, we must have meetings once in a while…” Tiwa says as she eats some Teriyaki chicken with fried rice.

Chelsea, who is eating Broccoli Beef with white rice says; “Well, it’s not too bad...Tiwa invited me to hang out and I just figured to invite you as well...you should thank me…”

Chelsea Lockhart is a beautiful young woman. She is also a Branch member of Yggdrasil. She has white skin, has light blue hair and pinkish eyes. She is a powerful member and has an eagle eye, she is also a specialist with long range weapons.

“Wait...we are having a strategy meeting here…” Tiwa stops Carlos. Carlos sighs and sits once again. Tiwa begins to speak:

“For one week, we’re going to be alone, protecting the city...The members of the Alliance; Uriel, Alejandro and Kasumi went to Mexico.”

“Shion went back to Japan...she was summoned by her family…” Chelsea explains to Tiwa.

“Rosa decided to visit Flor back in Rio Grande City...she will be staying there for two weeks…” Carlos drinks his soda.

“That means we’re the only ones here...what if there is another attack like the ones before...or what if Darius Lucifugus decides to make his move…” Tiwa begins to feel anxiety. Chelsea chuckles:

“Relax, we can handle this alone...aren’t you the powerful Shaman priestess? The Last Survivor of Ysleta Tribe?”

“What are you talking about, of course I am...we will protect this city…” Tiwa shouts with pride. Carlos looks at her thinking; “You’re so easy to handle…”

(BEEP BEEP)

“Speaking of which, we have a couple of Sombras in the west part of the city…”

Tiwa stands up and says with excitement; “Alright guys, time to head out…”

“Yeah...yeah…” Carlos and Chelsea stand up and follow Tiwa.

The group heads towards the northern part of the city near abandoned houses. They head there using Carlos’ bike and Tiwa uses her wings to fly.

“Okay Tiwa, according to our sensor…there was an activity of Sombras located at the end of the street, can you see something?”

Tiwa hears Chelsea with her communicator, she looks at a Sombra and replies; “Yes…there is one Sombra chasing a girl…I’m going to stop it…”

Tiwa flies down with maximum speed towards the Sombra.

(RRRRAAAWW)

“GGYYAAHHH SOMEONE HELP ME!” A young woman runs away from a feline Sombra. Tiwa charges straight at it; “Alright…I will take him down…Suma…”

“Right” Tiwa creates a couple of claws and attacks the Sombra with great speed. -SSSLLLAASSHHH- Tiwa defeats the Sombra with ease.

Tiwa proceeds to knock the girl unconscious; “There…that was easy…”

The motorcycle arrives, Carlos and Chelsea get off and walk towards Tiwa. Carlos sighs; “Oh man…I didn’t get the chance to do a thing…I mean it’s been almost a year since the readers read about my fight…I don’t have enough screen time…”

“Breaking the fourth wall again? That’s so like you…” Chelsea chuckles. Tiwa smiles; “Well that’s because I was quick enough…”

“Well you can fly…” Carlos whines. Chelsea looks at Tiwa; “Now then…time to take that girl and erase her…”

Chelsea opens her eyes wider; “Hey…where is that girl?”

“She’s right behind…” Tiwa looks surprised, the girl isn’t there anymore.

“Hahahaha…you fell for my trap…I wanted to see the guardians of this city…”

Suddenly, they look at the ceiling of a house, the woman stands up there as she chuckles:

“Who would’ve thought that it was just a bunch of kids…”

The woman releases mana and transforms her appearance, at the moment, her voice changes and turns into a man’s voice; “I will have so much fun killing you…”

Everyone is shocked by the change in appearance. Carlos exclaims; “WHAT THE HELL!”

“A man? But I thought you were a woman?” Tiwa asks nervously. The man laughs in a feminine way; “Well dear…I am a woman at heart…my name is Pimpinela…and you’re in the presence of the divine…

At first the woman was white with brown hair. Suddenly she transformed into a man named Pimpinela…he has tight leather jeans, long boots…a black jean jacket with a red crocktop…He has eyelashes and lipstick…similar to a popular 80’s band…

“Now then…time for the show…” Pimpinela summons an black electric guitar with the form of a kiss and some hearts on the neck of the guitar. The group is confused; “Wait…why a guitar?”

“Oh you’ll see…this is my Smooch…now then…let the show begin…YYEEAAHH!!”

Pimpinela plays guitar, a powerful solo that makes everyone’s ears hut. Tiwa covers her ears:

“WHAT IS HAPPENING? WHY IS HE DOING THAT?”

“I DON’T KNOW! WHAT THE HELL!” Carlos also has his ears covered, Chelsea opens one eye and notices something weird:

“GUYS…WE HAVE COMPANY!”

At that moment, Tiwa and Carlos look that they are surrounded by Sombras; “I see…so he’s a Shadowtamer…that bastard…”

Carlos creates a kunai with his mana and throws it towards Pimpinela, Pimpinela dodges the attack and stops playing; “HEY YOU! DON’T INTERFERE WITH MY ART!”

“SHUT UP YOU WEIRDO…YOU’RE MUSIC SUCKS LIKE YOU IMAGE!”

Pimpinela gets angry; “WHY YOU LITTLE SHIT…MY PETS…KILL HIM…”

The Sombras attack the group, Carlos smiles with excitement; “HELL YEAH…I WAS GETTING BORED ON BEING ON THE SIDELINES!”

Carlos lifts his arm as well showing his crest which consists of a circle with two rectangles up and down and chants; “Activate, Gorrion de Safiro, Completo” (Sapphire Swallow, Complete.)

Carlos’ crest begins to spread around his body causing him to shine into a blue color revealing an esper suit.He is wearing a blue short sleeve shirt with long sleeve black jacket with blue borders and black military pants with blue military boots. The back of the jacket has an image of a swallow with bluish borders.

“Now then…Chelsea…be my backup…” Carlos slowly lifts his arms, -CCCLLLAAPPP- Carlos claps one time and slowly separates his hand, summoning a black katana with blue edges.

(SSSLLLASSSHHH)

Carlos heads straight towards the Sombras and begins to cut one by one. Chelsea smiles; “He’s so childish…but oh well…I guess I will also join the party…”

Chelsea lifts her left arm as well showing her crest which consists of two rectangles and chants; “Activate, Sky-blue Hawk, Complete”

Chelsea’s crest begins to spread around her body causing her to shine into an orange revealing an esper suit. She is wearing a black vest with light blue borders with a long shirt below her vest. She has black shorts with leggings and military boots. She has headphones with a special blue lens on her left eye. On her back, an image of a Hawk with light blue borders.

Chelsea two twin pistols with pink borders; “Tiwa…I’ll provide backup…” Chelsea jumps back and fires at the Sombras. -BANG BANG- Tiwa summons his Coyote Zuni; “Zuni…time to fuse…”

“Right…”

Zuni is a spirit coyote that is contracted with Tiwa like Suma and Jana. He has a regular size just like a coyote, he has reddish fur and blue eyes.

Tiwa fuses with Zuni, her eyes turn blue. She grows Coyote ears and claws, she also has a coyote tail. She immediately engages in battle.

(SLASH SLASH SLASH)

Tiwa and Carlos attack the multiple Sombras and beat them with ease. Chelsea provides backup with her pistols. Carlos looks excited; “Oh come on…don’t tell me that this is all you have…I need more opponents…I’m barely sweating here…”

“Don’t be too cocky Carlos…you need to watch your back…” Tiwa attacks the Sombra that’s behind Carlos. Carlos does the same; “Well…you watch yours…”

The fight continues, Pimpinela analyzes the situation and chuckles; “Oh it seems these pets aren’t strong enough…I guess you children need something more exciting…” Pimpinela orders the remaining Sombras to retreat.

“Hey…what gives? Are you surrendering?”

“On the Contrary…tell me something…do you know what the ability of a Shadowtamer is?”

“Well I don’t know they control Shadows?”

“Hahaha…you’re really stupid are you?”

-TCH- Carlos gets furious; “That’s it…he’s going down…” Carlos charges straight at him. Tiwa tries to stop him; “Carlos wait…”

“Shadow tamers have other abilities…like this…” Pimpinela plays a note.

At that moment, a creature comes out of his shadow, and attacks Carlos in the blink of an eye; “What the…”

Carlos flies to one of the houses and goes through it. Chelsea and Tiwa are surprised, they turn around and see a large 10 feet tall monster in front of them. Tiwa trembles; “I-I-It can’t be…what is a monster like that doing here?”

The ogre is a green-skinned monster that is inhumanly large and tall in size, with a disproportionately large head, abundant hair, unusually colored skin, a voracious appetite, and a strong body. He has a loincloth and a mallet made of metal.

Tiwa and Chelsea take a few steps back. Pimpinela chuckles with excitement; “You see…we Shadow tamers have the power to control all living creatures with mana…not only Shadows like most people think…but also monsters like this ugly fellow here…”

The ogre attacks the girls, the girls dodge the mallet. Tiwa summons her serpent; “Jana…fuse now…”

“Right…SSS…” Jana the serpent fuses her mana to Tiwa. Tiwa opens her eyes and has white eyes, she summons a green rope and attacks the Ogre:

“A bauk?”

“That’s right…a level 2 Sombra creature that terrorizes Serbian people…”

The Bauk has the figure of a wolf-like being, its body is completely black, it has green eyes, giant claws and fangs, it has two hordes in its head and its fur is similar to a porcupine.

“Oh so you identify it huh…that’s right…while I was in the Scandinavian region, I happened to come across that doggy creature…” Pimpinela plays another note. The Bauk moves with great speed and grabs Tiwa:

“BYE BYE NOW!!!” Pimpinela slowly descends the shadows along with Tiwa who looks at them with a somber expression:

“I’m sorry…”

“DAMN IT TIWA!” Carlos attacks the Sombras. Chelsea fires multiple times, both of them continue to fight and they are outnumbered.

“Carlos, I am reaching my limit here…”

“Me too…it looks like I have no choice…I have to use that…”

“NO…IT’S TOO DANGEROUS…SENPAI IS NOT HERE…”

Flood is a member of M.I.S.T. The members of M.I.S.T have full black military attires, they all have black robes with hoods and theater style masks that make their identity a secret. Flood has a white mask

“Oh yeah…it’s the girl you beat right Carlos?” Chelsea looks at Carlos who nods in agreement; “ I did…but what are you doing here?”

“Sorry but we’re kinda in a hurry…that freak over there took our friend and we need to have her back…”

The Ysleta had their “Shaman” practices…Shamanism refers to a class of traditional beliefs and practices similar to animism. Within those beliefs, shamans derive their power from the forces of nature. For the people of Ysleta…they used the spirits of the living beings who passed away and agreed to work with them as familiars…

The Pueblo was destroyed 100 years ago by two men…One of them was El Charro Negro and the other was Sundance “Coyote” Bill…

Pimpinela and Tiwa arrived at the Pueblo thanks to Pimpinelas abilities taken by the Bauk…As they walk on the ruins of the Pueblo, Tiwa looks around and remembers her past…

“NO…GET OUT OF HERE… YOU DEVIL!”

“KKKYYAAHHH!” Tiwa remembers some kids throwing rocks at her, she remembers how she only covered herself and cried. Suddenly, a young woman defended her; “THAT’S ENOUGH…LEAVE HER ALONE!”

“It’s the Priestess…run away…” The Priestess turned around and saw Tiwa crying; “There…there…Tiwa, you’re going to be just fine…”

“But Hopi…they always do that to me…” Tiwa hugs Hopi. Hopi hugs her back; “Tiwa…I promise that I will change things…”

A house crumbles and brings her back to the future; “Everything is in ruins…” Tiwa comments as she looks around the crumbling buildings and burned areas.

“Oh yes dear…I heard that this Pueblo was destroyed by a fire…100 years ago…”

“It wasn’t…two men were in charge of destroying this place…and I will never forgive them…”

“I see…so my suspicions were true…you were actually a member of this tribe am I right?”

“Yes I was…and I am here to see this Thunderbird that you speak off…”

“Oh yes…the Thunderbird…a powerful entity that has existed for over centuries…according to the legend that natives tell…it is located in Thunderbird mountain, which is the mountain located right over there…” Pimpinela points at the mountain located at the northern part of the village.

Tiwa opens her eyes wider; “That’s where the cave is located…”

“Hey you idiot…have some respect…” Chelsea pokes Carlos, they get off balance for a second but Carlos regains his composure; “You idiot don’t do that…”

“Fufufu…sorry…”

“Are those two…a couple?” Flood wonders; “Anyway…he is dangerous man who killed innocent people using his powers…because Shadows are invincible to almost everyone…he could have come out clean…however…”

“You’re right…how did he become a convict?”

“He liked to kill his victims with his own two hands…the Shadows would eat their souls…but that man would cut them up and do drawings with the victim’s blood…very disturbing…that’s why he was caught…”

“Seriously? Wow…” Carlos and Chelsea are impressed. Flood continues to speak; “The government couldn’t keep him locked so they made a deal with him…he would become an agent of M.I.S.T. with the codename “Wave” and worked with us for over 10 years…”

“I see now…and Thunderbird mountain is near the Pueblo of Ysleta…where Tiwa is originally from…that’s why he took her…” Chelsea comments as she grabs Carlos tighter; “Hey…watch where you put those hands…” Carlos gets a little distracted, Chelsea teases him:

“Oh so, if I go lower than I might grab something else right?”

Chelsea’s hands move lower, Carlos panics; “HEY KNOCK IT OFF!”

They get off track once again, as they go to a bumpy road. Chelsea laughs; “You’re such a virgin…”

“SHUT UP!”

Flood moves her head; “Yeah…I think they are…”

Thunderbird Mountain…

“Now then…time to find my new pet…” Pimpinela looks with excitement, Tiwa sighs with her eyes closed:

“I don’t know what you want here…but I assure you that everything here is dead…”

“Nonsense…you that death isn’t the end right…and I think you know that very well…Now then, it is said that a powerful spirit lives here…I want to make it my pet and that’s why I let you tag along…”

“I see…what if I refuse to help you and stop you right here…”

Pimpinela laughs; “You won’t do that…I know you’re concerned about this mountain right? Because you said it yourself…it’s your home…”

-TCH- Tiwa looks away with disgust; “You got a point there…very well…let’s go inside then…”

Tiwa and Pimpinela walk towards the cave; As they walk, Tiwa remembers her past…

“This place…it’s…”

“Oh is it familiar dear…I take it that your ancestors were here as well…”

“No…I was here…100 years ago…”

“Oh wow…so how old are you?”

“It’s complicated…” Tiwa looks at the wall where there are multiple markings; “These markings…I made them…”

Tiwa’s Memories

“Am I doing it right?” Tiwa (Age 10) draws markings on the wall. Both Hopi and Tiwa are in a special cave, located at the outskirts of the Pueblo. Hopi nods in agreement:

“Yes you are…remember that to summon a familiar here, you must do them perfectly…”

“Right…”

“Did you know that this cave is special…it has been utilized since the ancient Cibola tribe…our descendants walked in this land…”

“The Cibola?”

“That’s right…they were a powerful tribe in charge of protecting the land from invaders…the Sombras…”

“Oh wow…I didn’t know that…and what does this cave do?”

“This cave holds a powerful treasure that according to the elders…it must remain hidden…because if it’s released…catastrophe will fall to our tribe…”

“How scary…” Tiwa trembles. Hopi chuckles; “Well…let’s not worry about it now…focus on summoning your familiars…”

“Right…first, I need to finish drawing my familiars…” Tiwa draws three figures, a snake, an owl and a coyote; “Now put part of me to the pictures…” Tiwa makes cut on his hand and puts blood on all the pictures…”

“Good…now Tiwa, this is the most important part…you must use all of your mana to summon them…”

“Right…” Tiwa closes her eyes, and puts her hands together; “Focus your mana…” Tiwa gathers mana around her and summons a big golden aura. The aura expands, illuminating the cave. Hopi looks at it and smiles:

“It’s so beautiful…and warm…even at a young age…Tiwa…you may have even more mana than me…”

“Now then…pour all of your mana in the pictures…” Tiwa redirects her mana towards the pictures; “Concentrate…come to me…my friends…”

(BBBBOOOMMM)

At that moment, three familiars appear in front of her. Tiwa breathes heavily as she looks at them proudly; “I…DID…IT!”

“You sure did Tiwa…I’m so proud of you…” Hopi hugs her and proceeds on asking the spirits:

“Please…give us your name…”

“My name is Jana…the serpent…”

“I am Suma…the owl…”

“You can call me Zuni…the coyote…”

“From this day on…we are your servants…”

“No…from today on…you three are my new friends…” Tiwa smiles at them, the three of them nod in agreement.

Present…

(BBAADDUUMMPP)

“It appears we have company…” Pimpinela points at a figure approaching them. “What is that?”

“I don’t know dear…but let’s find out…go get it…my pets…” Pimpinela summons a pair of Sombras to attack the spirit. The spirit takes the form of a woman; “LEAVE AT ONCE…”

(BBBBOOOMMMM)

The spirit purifies the Sombras with ease; “MY PETS!” Tiwa opens her eyes wider; “That language…it’s from my Pueblo…”

“I see…well then…you go stop it…” Pimpinela jumps back and summons more Sombras. Tiwa walks slowly as she tries to recognize the ghost:

“Who are you? Why are you here?”

The ghost asks as she reveals her appearance. Tiwa opens her eyes wider; “I-I-It can’t be…” Tiwa’s eyes fill themselves with tears; “H-H-Hopi…”

Hopi, the Shaman Priestess, was a young woman who had brown skin, black hair and brown eyes. She had a slim body and wore a native american attire that consisted of a long brown dress with many decorations. She had special accessories because she was the priestess, and she had her face painted.

The ghost gets angry and extends her hand; “YOU ARE TRESPASSING SACRED TERRITORY…GET OUT!”

“HOPI IT’S ME…TIWA…HOPI…”

“T-T-Tiwa?”

(BADUMP BADUMP BADUMP)

The ghost begins to beat; “NO…TIWA DIED…I SAW HER DIE! YOU FAKE…YOU FAKE!”

At that moment, lightning emerges from the cave, behind her. Tiwa tries to calm her down:

“HOPI…IT’S ME…PLEASE…STOP!”

“YOU LIAR…YOU FAKE!”

(RRRAAAAWWWW)

“There it is…it’s emerging…the Thunderbird!” Pimpinela looks with excitement.

At that moment, a powerful spirit appears in the form of lightning, the spirit takes the shape of an eagle as it illuminates the cave.

“Incredible…this my new pet, the Thunderbird…go my pets…” Pimpinela plays a note and orders the Sombras to attack the Thunderbird, the Thunderbird releases a powerful showave, blowing Tiwa and Pimpinela away.

(BBBBOOOMMM)

“LOOK AT THE MOUNTAIN…IT’S OVER THERE!” Carlos, Chelsea and Flood head towards the mountain.

The Thunderbird beats the Sombras with ease, Pimpinela looks around; “This space is too narrow…I guess I will have to retreat for now…good luck dear…” Pimpinela dissapears, Tiwa shouts with anger:

“HEY WAIT!”

(RRRAAWWW)

The Thunderbird continues to release powerful mana; “I GUESS I HAVE NO CHOICE!”

The Tiwa summons her spirits:

“Jana…Suma…Zuni…we need to…”

At that moment, Hopi appears in front of her; “YOU SINNER SHALL PAY!” Hopi grabs Tiwa from the neck; “W-W-Wait…” At that moment, Hopi elevates Tiwa’s soul and separates her from her body:

“YOU WILL COME WITH ME!”

Hopi takes Tiwa’s soul deeper into the mountain along with the Thunderbird. Her body is left behind, her spirits pursue them; “MISTRESS TIWA!”

After a few minutes, Carlos, Chelsea and Flood arrive at the cave; “That was a powerful mana…was that the Thunderbird?”

Flood nods in agreement; “It was…it’s power is beyond the charts as well…” Chelsea notices someone at the ground:

“Hey isn’t that…Tiwa…”

Chelsea holds her; “TIWA…TIWA…TIWA…CAN YOU HEAR ME?” The girl slowly opens her eyes. Chelsea and Carlos smile; “Tiwa…what happened here? Was that the Thunderbird?”

Suddenly, the girl cries; “Tiwa…she was taken…Tiwa was abducted…”

“Wait…who are you?”
