“Olga, please, calm down!” Johann begged as a slicing swing of Frosrahsa’s twin ice swords barely missed his cheek. “We love you, and we still do!”

“And I hate you, and I always have hated you!” Frosrahsa screamed back. “You used me to satisfy your own desires, not even bothering to ask my opinion or let me control my own life!”

“It was for your own good!” Ralph yelled as he used Shield Charge and closed the distance. “You would have broken after the Apocalypse without our help!”

“Better to die then and there than be used as a toy by the likes of you!” hissed the former human girl. “At least then I would have died pure and untainted!”

“You….!” Johann growled. “Fine! You want to die so badly, you ungrateful little child, then we’ll kill you, find someone to raise you again, and then we’ll find someone to wipe the monster taint out of you and make you see our way of doing things!”

“You will be what we want you to be, and either you’ll like it or you’ll be trapped in your mind again!” Ralph added.

Frosrahsa used some generated ice to slip around to the side of Johann as he swung his fist again. The Party Leader whiffed, and Frosrahsa jabbed one of her ice swords into the gap between the breastplate and back plate of Johann’s medium armor.

The blade managed to embed itself into the cloth padding that Johann wore to keep the metal from touching his skin, and while it didn’t penetrate too deeply it did cause the tip of the ice sword to snap off and remain in that cloth. Johann chuckled as he wheeled around and swung again, missing again but also moving so that he could grab the shield and sword that Ralph had brought back to him.

“Let’s see you try and win now you ingrate!” Johann yelled triumphantly, as though he and Ralph could amount to much now that they were both armed again. Frosrahsa responded to the premature declaration of victory by tossing both of her ice swords at Johann’s legs, which caused the man to jump to avoid them.

The ice blades landed and exploded upon impact, acting like frigid frag grenades that shot small slivers of magically super-dense ice in all directions. The ice found more than a few exposed places to find a home in, and both pedos winced as the pressurized ultra-cool air and the pin-like ice shards struck them.

Johann landed soon after, his feet hitting the ground and nearly buckling out from under him as the pain and numbness socked his system. This was an opening that Frosrahsa exploited, and she rushed over to him, leaping up and grabbing his exposed face with one of her hands.

“Cool your head a little bit!” she said, pun fully intended as she flash-froze the area her hand was grabbing onto. Immediately Johann began to scream, but this scream became hoarse extremely quickly as the cold temperature caused his vocal cords along with the inside of his mouth and throat to nearly freeze solid.

“Johann!” Ralph shouted as he lunged forward to try and cut Frosrahsa off his comrade, but she had already detached herself and was baking away, leaving the pedo with a hand-print on his face that was most assuredly not something pleasant for the bearer.

Ralph could not help but constantly swap his gaze from his comrade in arms to his current foe and back again as he tried to think of a way to ease his ally’s pain while also not making himself vulnerable. Frosrahsa, though, had begun to form ice in several waving and intersecting lines around the pair, lowing her posture and tensing her body to begin another attack run.

Ralph finally decided to commit to pulling a healing potion out of his bag, but while his attention was focused on searching his Bag of Holding his attention was not focused on the silent ice skater that was moving around and behind him. He finally found what he thought was a minor health potion and pulled it out, only for his face to drop when he realized that it was actually just some bottled cherry soda.

He hastily chucked it aside and shoved his hand back into the bag, only to be shocked with pain as a cold chill spread out from his back. He looked back over his shoulder as the pain increased and then vanished, and before he could do anything about it he lost all control of heis lower body and fell to the ground, the pained screams of his ally still ringing in his ears.

He found that he was just barely able to move his arms, and he reached behind himself to feel around for what was wrong. Had he been stabbed, or what?

Oh, it was far, far worse than that, Ralph.

Rather than simply go for a few precision strikes with her ice swords, Frosrahsa had instead opted to use a decent portion of her stored fuel reserves to flash freeze Ralph’s entire back to the point that his spinal column cracked and broke due to the intense high-speed thermal fluctuations. She had, essentially, broken Ralph’s spine by freeing his entire mid-to-lower back beyond it merely being hypothermia.

When Ralph realized this, he did the only thing he could do in such a situation.

He screamed in fear, pain, and shock.

Lyrhea marveled at the skill put on full display by her newest ‘daughter’. She had only been a Lyrhean for, what, an hour or two at most? Despite that, she already was outperforming what she had done in that same time span and then some.

Of course, it did help that she was able to wield magic, but it most likely had to do with the nearly half-decade of combat experience her previous self had at its disposal. Ironically, the pedos had made their own execution with their own hands, giving their victim all the knowledge and skill she would need to take them down with style, grace, and righteously vengeful fury.

As Frosrahsa put one of her fingers to the base of the heavy knight’s skull, right where the skull met the spine, she could not help but crack a smile and give a respectful golf clap as her daughter killed one of her abusers with a precise application of extreme cold.

Now it was the commander’s turn to fall, and after that would be the idiot who knocked himself out. She spared a look over at the fool, shook her head, and turned to her first daughter, Luxnilae.

“Remind me to never, ever wear a robe like that.” she asked bluntly. “I don’t want that to be me. Ever.”
