《MAGE CHRONICLES: THE BEGINNING.》2

"You can’t stop me I’m Beyoncé!” I sing, getting into my house only to let out a screech to rival harpies.
“Jesus mama, you scared the shit out of me, quite literally I might add.”
“Gross Mahi,” mama replies, folding her arms in a posture that I’ve grown to know means I’m getting an epic lecture.
“What is it, mama?”
“You went to Ryder’s again after work, didn’t you?”
“I...”
“And you left my sweet grandbaby alone. I had to drag myself all the way here to stay with him.”
“Sheesh mama we live in the same estate, quit being dramatic, and Blue wasn’t alone, I’ve just met Cherry peeling out of here like demons were on her ass, what did you say to her?”
“Nothing.”
Yeah right.
“Mama!” my baby boy calls flapping his tiny black wings towards me.
“Oh, look at you, you get better every day.”
“Nana’s been teaching me.”
“Mama, I hope you broke nothing else with those damn wings of yours.”
Yeah, I know what you are probably thinking.
*******************************
See, I’m adopted kind of. My mama is like a succubus, yes the sex demon. She’ll probably smite my ass for the description but it’s the best I can come up with buzzed, sue me. Also, she’s the best person in the world. To people she likes, that is, my dad is a dragon alpha who moonlights as an executive in an entertainment company.
Before they came along, life was pretty hard, sleeping in parks, food was at the mercy of restaurant and café owners and workers and some were pretty mean.
As a girl, I was used to having my food snatched from me. But one time they weren’t just satisfied with the food. All I remember before everything blacked out was gleaming eyes crowding me in and a distinct smell of seawater.

When I woke up, the next day, I felt fine, tired but fine. It wasn’t until a month later that I realized that a lot more had happened than I had previously thought.
Fast forward eight months later, Knox ‘Blue’ Dracon was born. That was the single most terrifying moment of my existence, but the moment I laid eyes on the snivelling blue-haired boy I fell in love, everyone did.
Papa had some tests run once it was clear Blue was no normal baby and one distinct thing that came back was that he had nautical DNA somewhere, which would explain his colouring.
They talked me into therapy for the trauma but the funny thing is, my issues don’t stem from that incident since I can’t remember anything.
Long story short, I knew what those mages were talking about, the only issue is...I’m not the magical one, but maybe Blue left some traces in me.
“I don’t like that girl;” Mama’s voice jolts me back to the present.
“What did she do now? Do you know how hard it is to find a good babysitter these days?”
“I found Knox hiding because she wanted to take a picture of him, and she called him a freak.”
“But you glamoured him.”
“Yes, but the little hellion snatched something off the shelf with his tail, so she noticed.”
“Am I a freak mama?” Blue asks with a sad face, which just breaks my heart.
“No baby, you are perfect and beautiful and loved.”
“And handsome?”
“Very handsome.”
“Like Jin?”
“Yeah, baby!” I yell clapping my hands, “You are worldwide handsome.”
“Oh God,” my mama mutters, letting herself out.
“Nana, my blessings and kisses.”
“Come here, boy,” he waddles over and she picks him up, planting kisses all over his face as she draws the family insignia around him with magic as a blessing.

The image lights up my world, two of my favourite people smiling and laughing, despite all we’ve been through.
She hands him over with one last peck and leaves.
“Ok baby, what’s for supper?”
“Fish!”
“Again? I swear, sometimes I wonder how you are supposed to be part nautical.”
Blue, at almost three years old, despite being a tiny thing, has the intellect and understanding of a six-seven-year-old human child in all the other ways so he can eat pretty much everything, thank the fates for small blessings.
How about I make pasta, beef, and veggies for the growing boy?
“Nana says you have to eat veggies, too.”
I scrunch my face “but I’m grown.”
“She said to tell you not really,” he answers with a serious face.
“Ok fine, let me grab a shower quick, hmm.”
He nods and I’m off before he changes his mind and decides to join me.
The boy loved water.

Phantom Swordsman
Jason Darting was having a walk, like normal, when he suddenly found himself literally dragged into another dimension. Now, he has to fight ghosts, get a Class – because that’s apparently a thing – and then discover that his powers make him a target for some fanatical religion, which may or may not have an actual god behind it. He quickly decides that he should probably stay away. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have much choice, and his actions lead to him being caught up in a conflict between the fanatics and some shadowy organisation. Thankfully, while his Class does have some issues, it also has a great deal of potential, and Jason quickly discovers that this new world of fantasy is more exciting than he expected. Comments will be locked, cuz I have pretty bad anxiety. – Sorry!Expect corrections, because I struggle to notice a lot of mistakes until they've been posted.

There are many types of Mages; The Arcane Mages stuck in their towers studiously dedicated to magic and understanding, The Elemental Mages the most powerful and versatile branch, and finally the color mages who are a potent mix of the two. Of the color Mages, there are the primary Red, Blue, Yellow the rare White, Black, Infrared, and Ultraviolet the legendary Gamma and Beta, and finally there are the secondary colors, also known as the mixs Green, Brown, Orange, Purple, and finally Pink. Updates will be sporadic based on inspiration and motivation. Warning: I am a lazy uninspired individual so ya... So the inspiration for this is how everyone online is always a carry or assassin and nobody plays support classes to help the team. Also, there have been studies that the "support" roles at work in RL never get recognition for keeping the company cogs greased and turning. It's always the "top" [employee title] and the extra stuff people do to keep the business running is never appreciated. So I decided to wright Pink Mage. He is a support, though he has spells so he isn't a [Support] and incapable of defending himself. None of the classes are completely useless in a fight or without proper application. But the [Pink Mage] class is bugged so that there is no way to gimp the system to legendary status. All the other Solo legends can... well... Solo, but a [Legendary Pink Mage] can't solo, period. Sure he could cast a mix of spells so that an army is basically chickens on the chopping block but he would still have to go out there and gut them with a knife one by one. I don't own the title image, It was grabbed from public domain. Warning: the content warnings are real, though the content warned of is sporadic. I don't try to right that content specifically but Micky's life won't shy away from it! So yeah, rating R... Note: This is neither a 'Feel Good' or a 'Tragedy' and doesn't have those tags for a reason. This is the 'Real' biography and adventurers of the MC as I see the fantasy universe. So it is neither going to have extra lucky encounters or terrible ones (Except there will be, because you know, story.)
8 59A D&D Gamer in Garweeze Wurld
He doesn't know how he got here, and while the trappings are familiar, he doesn't actually know where he is, either. From the perspective of those around him, Duromar is a half-ogre barbarian, an uncivilized brute by any standard you care to use. But from his perspective, he's a character created in a gaming system. From either one, he must live within the rules of that system. This is the story of a gamer who ends up in a game that's just a bit off from what he knows. ---- I wanted to write something a little bit old-school. Most of the LitRPG I've found seems to be based on computer RPG styled stories. Progression through levels is fast, and depending on the game, skills and even attributes can be trained with or without class levels. This wasn't true with the older pen and paper games, and that's the style of leveling I wanted to write.
