"Oh my gosh, sir are you alright?" I questioned dropping my bike and walking up to him.
"Oh gosh silly me, would you mind grabbing my hat?" He asked pointing to his hat as he picked up his carton of eggs. What? Why would he have eggs?
He had white face paint on, which was odd.
I grabbed his hat, handing it to him.
"Thank you, dear." The man replied.
I looked at the black van.
I read what was on it...
'Abracadabra'.
"Abracadabra?" I questioned, looking up at the man for an explanation.
"Ah yes, I am a part-time magician! Wanna see a trick?" He asked looking over at me with a grin.
I looked at him confused, "I uh- I better get going." I responded
"It's just one magic trick!" He spoke up, a little louder this time.
"Ok fine," I replied, annoyed.
He grabbed, black balloons out of his van.
"Each balloon had a card inside, I have to guess the card in the balloon you choose." The man explained.
"Ok?" I walked up to him tapping a balloon.
"I lied!" He smirked as he wrapped the balloons strings around my throat, my eyes grew wide as I struggled out of his grasp, also struggling to breathe.
"Help!-" before I could completely yell, the man sprayed something into my mouth, I tried to get out of his grip until I felt lightheaded, no please not again!
I blacked out...

I tried jumping up to the window, but I wasn't tall enough.
I grunted annoyedly, I punch the wall frustratedly.
"How the fuck am I supposed to get out of here," I whispered to myself as I gripped my hair.
I heard the door creak open, my eyes averted to reveal the grabbed, but with someone in his arms.
A girl, she was the girl from earlier, I recognize her clothes.
"I've got you company." The grabber cooed, tossing the girl onto the ground, my eyes widened as I ran up to her, holding her up to sit straight.
"What did you do to her?"
I responded with a harsh voice.
"The same thing I did with you, no biggy, now I'll come back down in a little with some soda." The grab replied, I could practically hear the scowl in his voice.
He then walked out, closing the door.
I groaned as my eyes fluttered open, I was somewhere where I didn't identify, I was laying on what seemed like a mattress, a really dirty and rusty one.

I coughed as the thing he sprayed was still stuck in my mouth, it tasted disgusting.
"You're awake! Thank god, I thought you died." A boy's voice filled the room, I sat up straight, now looking at where the voice came from.
"Hey, You're that guy from earlier, the guy who hit me... what was your name, um... oh it was Robin." I massaged my temples in pain, it was not pleasant passing out two times in a day.
"I'm so sorry about that, it was an accident, I was aiming for moose."
He apologized sitting beside me on the mattress.
"Wait how are you here?! Are you in this plan?" I questioned scooting away from him.
"No no, I got kidnapped too," Robin responded with a reassuring voice.
I sighed, still doubtful.
"How'd you know my name?" He asked, I looked up at him.
"The nurse told me," I answered looking down at the floor.
"Well, what's your name?" Robin looked at me, curiously.
"How should I know that I can trust you?" I perked up from the ground to look at him.
I gave him an aggravated glare.
"I swear, I don't know how to prove it to you, please just trust me." Robin convinced.
"Trust you? I barely know you! Plus I just got kidnapped and now I'm in a rotting basement! How could I possibly trust you." I shouted, my eyes widened as I realized what I had just done.
"Look I'm sorry, I'm stressed right now, a lot has happened today and I don't know how to deal with it." I began to tear up slightly, thinking about how I would die here...
"I understand-" Robin got interrupted by the door opening.
I quickly grabbed into Robin, it was an instinct...
"Ah, she's awake." A man with a mask spoke, holding a tray with two sodas and one plate, looked like it was full of eggs, my breath began to get unstable as I held onto Robin's arm tighter.
My heart raced as the man began to walk towards us, he placed the tray on the ground in front of us, and Robin glared at the man, giving him a cold gaze.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt you two.." the man bent down, resting his arms on his knees.
"Why are you doing this?" I replied with an unsteady voice.
Robin noticed, his free hand traveled onto mine, holding it in his.
"Well, it's a complicated story, which I do not look forward to telling you, so I'm not gonna tell you, a lot is going on." The man sighed as stood up.

I began to look around, as the man was speaking to himself.
I noticed a black phone on the wall, the man must've caught me looking at it because he spoke up about it.
"It doesn't work, not since I was a little kid." The grabber answered, I glanced back at the man.
"Well, you guys enjoy." The man dusted himself off before exiting.
I noticed he left the door a little open.
"The door," I stated.
Robin looked at me then looked at the door.
"Holy shit, it's open." He grinned, robin stood up, and my hands let go of his arm.
"Wait."
Just as I said that the phone began to ring.
"Robin the phone... I thought it was broken. How is it ringing?" I spoke, as I slowly walked toward the phone.
"What do you mean? It's not ringing." Robin stated walking up to me.
"You mean, you can't hear it?" I replied with a look of concern, yet confusion.
"You're just paranoid, let's go-"
Robin started, he grabbed a hold of my wrist gently, before I interrupted.
"Robin, I know what I'm hearing," I stated with a cold look, shoving my hand away from his grip.
I grabbed the phone.
Robin just stood there beside me.
"Hello?" I spoke into it, my voice gave off a sound of nervousness.
After a few seconds, I heard hefty breathing.
"Don't go upstairs." Someone spoke into the phone, my eyes widened, and I dropped the phone backing away from it.
"What?!" Robin questioned.
"S-Someone spoke." I looked over at the phone in horror, how could it be possibly working? The wires are ripped out.
The phone began to ripple, turning big then small... almost like it was calling to me, it began to ring again.
I looked over to Robin, with a lump in my throat.
"It's ok I'm with you, answer it." Robin placed a hand on my shoulder, I nodded walking up to the phone, my hands shook as I held up the phone against my ear.
"H-Hello?" I stuttered.
"Don't hang up, and don't go upstairs." The same voice spoke again.
I tried to keep my composure.
"Why?" I questioned.
"It's a trap, he wants you to go up there, to be disciplined... he has a belt and will beat you until you pass out. Don't go upstairs." The voice made clear.
"How- who are you? And how do you know." I asked, holding the phone closer to my ear.
Robin stood aside, looking at me curiously.
"I don't remember who I am, but I do remember hiding a piece of thick string under the wall that's detached from the floor slightly, that will come in handy."
The phone hung up.
I placed the phone on the stand as I looked at the wall separated from the floor.
I began to pull onto something, and the person was right, he did hide a thick string underneath.
"How did you-"
I interrupted Robin
"I think that the people talking to me on the phone, are dead... they are the missing children, they are trying to help us escape," I defined as I began to investigate the string.
"Fuck." Robin whispered as he ran his fingers through his hair.
I grabbed the glass bottle, opened it, and took a sip.
"Sit down," I spoke.
He nodded sitting beside me on the mattress.
We grabbed the other glass bottle and began to drink out of it.
"We are gonna die in here aren't we," I stated as I took another sip of my soda.
"Yep," Robin replied.
"I heard around school that you weren't the type of guy to tap out of a fight, why do you give up so effortlessly this time," I asked, looking up at him.
"Well, we are kidnapped, who wouldn't give up." Robin placed the soda down as he began to split the eggs down the middle for us to eat evenly.
"Thanks." I pressed my lips together as we began to eat in silence.
Once we finished eating we sat in awkward silence.
My mom is probably worried sick, my dad as well... holy shit, this is it huh? I'm gonna die, I'm gonna fucking. I'm not ready though... I don't wanna die yet.
I still have yearnings and dreams. I still haven't gotten to do the things I've always wanted to do.
I put up my knees against my chest, looking down at the floor.
I began to tear up as I kept thinking and thinking.
Soon the quiet tears turned into loud sobs.
"Hey, Shh Shh don't cry." Robin placed an arm around my shoulder, rubbing my arm up and down.
I leaned against him as I continued to sob.
"It's okay... we'll get out of here." Robin reassured, it was funny because a few seconds ago he was giving up but that wasn't the point.
