My eyes flutter open as the alarm goes off. I hurriedly turn it off and stifle a yawn that escape my mouth. I turn the other side and look at Ranveer sleeping, his hand lazily lying around my waist, and other was beneath my head. I move slowly to get up without disturbing him, but he tightens his hold against me, and pull me closer towards himself. This time I dint tried anything as I just lay there staring at him continuously.

I ran my fingers ever so gently through his hairs, he hums in content, but didn't woke up. I ran my index finger from his forehead to his eyes to his nose to his lips, and gently scratch his beard. He involuntary smiles in his sleep.

I wound my hands around his neck not minding if he wakes up with this stunt, and put my face in the crock of his neck; exhaling a breath, which without knowing I am holding. My eyes started to stink as remembering everything, slowly his hands wrap around my body in tight yet gentle grip, and he start rubbing my back in order to comfort me as he kisses the side of my head repeatedly.

"I need time Ranveer. It's all is too much for me to take. But... but..." I muttered and broke free from his grip and ran towards the bathroom and slammed the door shut. After controlling my heartbeat, I freshen up and walk out of the room without looking at him.

"Meera please make sandwiches for everyone and yeah also pack a few." I said to the house help and take four cups of tea and walk up to mom and dad's room.

After knocking I went inside their room, I give them their tea.

"Mom I was thinking that it will take more than four hours to reach their and we all can't sit in car with heavy dresses for that long. So, we can wear comfortable clothes for now, and as the function is at night, we will get ready there only." I asked, mom nod her head.

"Yeah, I didn't think of that." She said with a smile gracing her lips patting my head.

"I have placed your dress downstairs with mine and rhea's, you need anything tell me so I can put that also. And yeah, give me dad's clothes also, I will put them with Ranveer and Gautam's clothes." She nodded her head and walk inside her closet to get dad's clothes. I walk up to dad and with a pout on my face,

"Dad, can I get a hug?" I asked, I really need to shake off the heavy feeling, he shook his head sipping his tea.

"Nope." he denied. Taking another sip.

"No?" I mumbled dejectedly, and look down biting my inner lip.

"You shouldn't ask me, in fact you should just order me, after all I am your dad." He said and stood up from his place and walk across the table towards me and embrace me in a warm hug.

"Now tell me what happened? Why are you looking so br- sad. I am noticing it from yesterday, but I didn't point it out, but looking at you like this really hurting me and your mom. Tell me what happen. If Ranveer did something, tell me I will chop him now." He said patting my head as I shook my head trying to make few words out of my mouth.

"No dad, nothing happens. Just business stress nothing more. Don't worry. I am completely fine." I said and with that I walk out of the room with tea in my hand and walk towards Gautam's room.

I knock twice and when I didn't get any answer, I walk inside the room to see him nowhere in his room. I call his name and he reply back from bathroom. I sat down on the sofa in his room, and start sipping my tea. He came out in no time, after throwing wet towel on bed he bends down to kiss my cheek and settle himself beside me, and start sipping his tea.

"You know, I could be walking naked around the room." He teases with raising his perfect brow.

"As if........ I have seen better. Or you can say the .'' I tease him back turning my face towards him with a playful smirk on my face. He narrowed his eyes at me.

"Better! Huh! You mean to say I don't look handsome. You know my abs are to die for. Girls stand in a long que just to have a single glimpse of me." He said fake gritting his teeth.

"Oh really, I didn't see any." I said and burst in laughter. Soon he also joined me as we both laugh too hard.

He put his empty cup on the table, and turn towards me with serious expression on his face.

"Ishika, I think your life is in danger." He uttered.

"Tell me something I don't know." I replied placing my empty cup on the table.

"But it's too much dangerous this time. She is planning something big. You are not taking it seriously, I am following her from past few weeks, and she is been completely silent, which only means one thing ." He fumbled on his place looking at me sitting nonchalantly.

He switches on his laptop and show me some documents, all the purchase she is been doing from past week. I heaved a sigh and close his laptop, he looks at me in utter confusion, I hold his hand in mine, he closes his eyes tightly and slowly open them, I gave him a small smile.

"She isn't quite as you think. She knows you are following her." As the words come out of my mouth his eyes widen as he processes what I am saying.

"She is playing game with you, she sends Rudra, all the way back to me just to confuse me, just to give me some pain." I spoke.

"Rudra. You didn't tell me he was back in India." He cut me in between. I shook my head.

"I met him yesterday, he told me what she is doing-" I started,

"And you believe him, you fucking believe that cheater Ishika." He said gritting his teeth.

"Let me complete first Gautam Kapoor." I yelled back at him, he nod his head with a pout on his face.

"I didn't believe him first but then I heard him talking to her on speaker, where I got to know that she had his sister all the while he is asking me to leave Ranveer, he showed me so many proofs okay." I said, he nod his head in understanding.

"This time is going to be the end game Gautam." I said with affirmation.

"I know you, but I am scared Ishika, we don't want to lose you, Ranveer will die if something happen to you. Please understand me..... Ok let's do this, you will take your gun with you, I will also take it just in case something happens. And yeah, we will also take so many body guards with us. And we-" he said patting my head at first, then he starts mumbling, when I cut him in between.

"I am prepared, don't worry.... You tell brother-in-law, which car should we take today." I asked wiggling my eyes at him to change the environment. He acted as if he was thinking while keeping his one hand under his chin.

"Hm how about Mercedes-Benz G Class." He asked with a smirk on his face, I nod my head narrowing my eyes at him. That car was gifted to me by Ranveer recently.

"Ok, come on, lets pack your clothes for the rocking trip ahead." He immediately ran behind me pushing me towards the walk-in-closet. We spend next half an hour packing his clothes and asked him to put the luggage in my room.

I took a relaxing bath and got ready in long suit with palazzo. I wake up Ranveer without looking at him I start packing his clothes in the luggage. Ranveer came out of the bathroom, and before he could say anything I left the room, and asked the house help to put everything in the car.

I walk towards the dining hall seeing mom dad waiting for us, I sat down on different chair this time. Soon Ranveer and Gautam came, and I asked Gautam to sat beside me, and with a dejected look Ranveer sat beside mom, in front of Gautam.

It's been half an hour of us sitting in car, where dad and Ranveer sat in front, me and Gautam sit behind with mom in between us, soft melody was playing in car, but I can hardly listen to the song as our talks didn't finish. Suddenly Gautam starts batting his eyes at me,

"What?" I whisper back.

"I am hungry, ask your husband to stop somewhere." He said running his hand over his stomach. I glare at him, and take out a box from car seat and gave it to him.

"I knew it, you will get hungry, eat it. Also leave some for me." I said, he smiles bowing his head a little. Mom, dad and Ranveer start laughing breaking both of our reverie. I chuckle a laugh of embarrassment, looking at Gautam who is eat his food without any tension of world.

I don't know where all his food go, he eat aloooot and still don't get fat, and here if I eat little extra, my stomach came out.

Ufff.

With little bickering, stupid jokes, all time gossips and news from all over the world we finally reach their house in not so four hours.

"Oh my god rhea, you look so beautiful, ethereal, wait I don't have any words to describe your beauty." I said looking at rhea who look towards me as I walk inside her room after getting ready. I put black dot behind her ear to protect her from evil eye, she pulls me in a hug,

"Thank you Bhabhi (sister in law), you are also looking so pretty; it's still hard for me to think of wearing this dress but you made it possible, thank you so much.... But I am feeling so nervous, my hands are shivering see." She said while showing her hands, I took hold of them, and made her sit on bed and gave her a glass of water, and made her eat something, when she got relieved, I walk out of the room as her mother and friends came inside.

I met all relatives and then settle down on a chair, since mom was helping her sister, dad is busy somewhere, Ranveer and Gautam, well I didn't saw them till now so I don't know where are they.

I start replying to all message when my hands stop on its own, I can feel in my bones Ranveer is somewhere near, I look up from my mobile and saw him walking towards me looking utterly handsome, I shook my head clearing all the dirty thoughts that pop in my mind and see Gautam also following him.

They both stood in front of me, when Gautam asked how he look, I just shrug my shoulder just to tease him, he sits beside me with sullen face. I chuckle and told him he looks handsome.

Ranveer also sit beside me, joining his chair with me as he sits so close to me, my body shivers feeling his cold touch on my hand, as he entwines our hands and put them over his thigh and start rubbing his thumb softly, I tried removing his hand but he grip it tightly, so I leave it as it is, and turn my not so full attention towards Gautam.

"Hey you are shivering, wait here let me go and get all of us soup." Gautam said, before I could say anything he walk up to the stalls, leaving me with his brother.

"You look so ethereal today sweetheart." He mumbled near my ear, a shiver ran down my spine, I dint say anything to him. After that he didn't say anything, we just sit beside each other, enjoying oh so beautiful silence between us.

I was dancing with Gautam, and few other people on DJ when mom came and ask me to take my phone as it kept on ringing. I took the phone and pick the call,

"Hello." I said, but it seems the person on other side didn't hear me as they keep on saying,

"Hello, can I speak to Ishika."

I walk out of the hall where is less noise. And dial that number again.

"Hello." I asked.

"Hello can I speak to Mrs. Ishika Kapoor." She asked.

"Yes, you are speaking." I replied.

"Can you come to the hospital?" she asked.

"No, I can't, I am outside actually. Where is dr. Shreya, I asked her to call me." I spoke.

"She is in surgery, oh wait it seems she is out, I will pass her the phone, please be on line." She said I hum in response. After a minute or two, dr. Shreya speak.

"Ishika?" Dr Shreya asked.

"Yes, Shreya. What happen. I told you I am going out with family." I spoke

"Yeah, I know but I thought it's important to you." She mumbled, I can imagine her pouting on other side.

"Ok tell me what it is before my husband came running in search of me." I said with a chuckle, she also chuckles from other side.

"I want to say this in person but I am going Karnataka for surgery today and won't be present when you will be here, so I thought of telling you now." She said,

"Ok tell me, what is that so important." I asked.

"the thing is you........" she completed leaving me in shock as I stumble on my steps. She again said the same thing as I cut the call instantly, as I saw something from periphery of my vision.
