teara: poor max, Delilah shouldn’t see you like this….

(Matt walks outside)

matt: hey teara, you no we could put him down and say he turned and we had to shot him.

teara: no Matt, Delilah doesn’t need to see him like this but he is her dog and she should at least get last few minutes with him.

matt: well, that is if he makes it that long.

teara: I think he wanted to come outside to find his final resting place.

matt: poor little feller, I’ll start a fire and sit out here with him tonight. If anything happens to him I’ll come get you.

teara: alright thank you Matt.

the next morning back at the radio tower Delilah, Alex and Jarrad come up with a plan on fixing the receiver in the radio tower and getting the rest of the group there.

Me: (waking up stretching) ahhhh good morning max….

alex: umm Delilah, max is back at the prison.

Me: oh, yeah I forgot.

alex: well, anyways I’m glad ur awake.

me: where’s Jarrad?

alex: he’s down stairs trying to get the receiver in the radio room to work. He said he thinks he might can get it to work.

me: that’s interesting, but what would we need it for, I mean it’s been years since the worlds went down there’s probably no one left out there…. That’s good anyways.

alex: I don’t no I think it’s just something to keep him from going crazy.

me: good point, so what’s your plains for today.

alex: I was actually about to ask you the same thing. I think I’m gonna try to clean up around here, get things so what ready for everyone else.

me: so I take it I’m going back for everyone else all by my self.

alex: I can come with if you want.

me: nahh I’ll be alright. I guess I’ll head out.

alex: alrighty I’ll see what I can do about having food ready for everyone, after I clean this place up some.

me: okay sounds like we have a plan.

delilah headed back to our group at the prison, looking down at the name tag Jarrad found for her with max’s name on it, the sarrow starts to set in. She’s going to be losing her best friend in a few hours……

matt: ah poor buddy I hope Delilah gets back soon, I’m not sure how much longer your gonna hold out. Not to mention this snow buddy I nearly froze my Ballz off last night…”looks at fire” teara must of came out to keep the fire going. I bet the snow feels good under all the fur on you don’t it.

teara: (walks outside) I see your awake.

matt: yeah, poor max though teara I’m not sure how much longer he has.

teara: I no Matt, I’ve been hoping Delilah comes back soon.

DJ:(busted outside) mom!! Aunt D’s back in my range she’s headed back.

teara: Jesus Christ youngin give your mother a heart attack.

DJ: she’s by her self thought, dad and Alex aren’t with her.

teara: what!?!

matt: you don’t think.

teara: no! I’m sure there fine.

….a few dreadful hours and a long walk later Delilah makes it back to the prison….

me: hey everyone!
