♤♠︎Chapter 61♠︎♤

{You get what you deserve}

•Emma's point of view•

Finally departing from them, I made my way quickly upstairs, gazing around like a lost lamb without guidance. Still reddened by the fact that Mike kissed me with such gentleness,

I hate this place so much. Why does it have to be this enormous? It feels like I've been wandering around for an hour. God, I hope Leo stayed where he was. When he's drunk, his temper is not in check, making things more difficult for me. I rather have the sleepy drunk Leo than the ticking bomb Leo that is on the verge of exploding and taking everything with him.

Right now, a few people are making out in the open. They needed to get a bedroom, really. I mean there are endless amounts of bedrooms in this place so they could take one to do their sexy business.

When I opened the bedroom door that I left Leo in.

A frown quickly spread across my face when my eyes noticed three girls with their hands up, looking terrified.

My mind instantly recognized them when my brain put names on two of their faces.

Two were familiar to me- while one was oddly the girl who was kissing Kevin a while ago downstairs. Just by her sexy black outfit alone, I knew it was her.

She looked like she was getting into it with Kevin. Her red lipstick was smudged on her lips. Her brown hair is a mess, and her clothes were ruffled up a bit, just like Kevin's.

All three girls seemed too frightened to move a single muscle, and for good reasons.

When I saw what had put them in that state of fear, I quickly shut the door behind me out of reflex. It was the stupidest thing I ever did in my life.

Shit, I forgot he had a gun with him.

It was better than letting anyone else see that Leo had that stupid gun in a house filled with drunk and high teens.

I should've taken it away from him when he calmed down.

He seemed pissed off now. Just a moment ago, he was extremely calm and almost obedient.

I was so eager to get him back home-and so distracted by what had happened between us-that it completely slipped my mind.

I'm such an idiot.

He seemed livid. Just a moment ago, he was extremely calm, yet now it's another story. What got him to be so upset again?

What did they do or say to him to trigger this aggressive response?

Or was it now that the effect of whatever he took was messing up his perspective on reality? Did he take something else when I wasn't here?

I need to tell William to never sell anything to him again if he's the one selling it to him.

My eyes focused on Kevin, who was sitting on the mattress watching this with an amused expression on his face. He also seemed a little odd. He seemed not to be himself right now. He looked almost playful, as if this were all a game.

He had red lipstick faintly smudged on his lips and down his throat.

Hearing the door slam shut, Leo pointed the firearm at me, making me freeze on the spot as deja vu hit me in full force.

I recall having that same gun pointed directly at me in my bedroom a few weeks ago.

My hold on the water bottles tightened out of fear as my heart beat violently inside my chest.

This must be one of the stupidest things I have done in my life. But the fear of seeing my father disappointed with these two is unreal...

"Leo, please calm down." I softly pleaded, but it seemed like it wasn't working at all in calming down the demon that seemed to be on his last straw with everyone.

Instead, he got more agitated by hearing my soft voice and words.

"SHUT UP. Just shut the fuck up!!! Why won't everyone shut up?! " he blurted out angrily and confused, making the girl flinch on their spot. Shit, even I recoiled into myself, seeing how furious he was with my soft words.

Kevin didn't seem fazed at all by what was occurring right now. Was he also drunk, or was he on something much worse? He looked too happy-go-lucky to be himself. He usually has a pissed-off look on his face.

His gray eyes looked almost cloudy. What the hell did he smoke?

At this point, I don't know if he was sober, drunk, or high.

"Come over here." Leo ordered me, and his frown got deeper the more I got nearer to him.

The girls seemed more afraid for... me than for themselves. Of course, because the way he was looking at me right now was making my legs shake and my hands tremble.

When I was close enough, he grabbed me by the neck and pulled me towards him harshly. All three girls in the bedroom gasped in disbelief at what they were witnessing.

"What do you think I should do with these three annoying bitches?" Huh, Angel? They're starting to really annoy the fuck out of me.

They just keep talking nonsense over and over again.

Should I kill them?" When he said that, he sounded so serious. As seriously as when he told me that he'll kill for me if I asked him to. Wasn't he asking the wrong person? His angel is right over there, trembling like a leaf.

Feeling him tighten his grip on my neck made my body tremble and my heart painfully beat, not in excitement this time but in fear.

And when he put the gun to my stomach, I held my breath as all three girls' eyes grew wide with worry. One of the girls stepped back as if readying herself to make an escape if he shot me.

He leans more into me, his face now mere inches from mine, almost as if he were patiently waiting for my response.

"Wh-Why?" My voice cracked a little at the beginning as my hands began to tremble when he took the gun off me and held it lazily towards them.

My eyes focused on his dark ones, which seemed disconnected from his emotions and the reality of how bad the situation is right now.

"It's a yes-or-no answer, Angel. So answer now. Before, I decide for you." He points the gun back at me.

"No." All three girls breathed a sigh of relief at my response. Of course, because if I said yes, the gun would be pointed at them again.

"No? Really?

You're no fun. And here I thought you would tell me to kill them. You're starting to disappoint me, Angel." He says, as he throws me towards Kevin who was sitting on the edge of the mattress with open arms.

He catches me in his arms before I can act quickly on escaping out of here. The two water bottles I held in my hands dropped to the floor.

Now I was sitting on his lap, watching things from his perspective. It felt like I was in a 3D theater watching a crime scene that was about to unfold.

Kevin buries his face in the crook of my neck, making me tense up in his secure hold. He applied more pressure to the hug, signaling for me to behave and watch the show or else I will be leaving from here in a black body bag.

The intoxicating smell of liquor evaded my nostrils, making my heart plunge into the pit of my stomach.

This was bad. Very Bad. Drunk Kevin was a mystery. I know how Leo behaves when he's drunk, but Kevin, on the other hand, is a complete mystery.

The three girls grow deadly still when Leo starts approaching them in a slow, predatory way. Those poor girls seemed freaked out by this situation.

He stops in front of the redhead, making her close her eyes, as if closing her eyes would make him vanish.

She's differently wishing she wasn't here right now.

My eyes widen when Leo pulls harshly on the redhead's long strands with no mercy.

The poor girl yelped in shock and pain. When her upper body was pulled down harshly in an uncomfortable left angle.

"How many times do I have to repeat to you that my brother doesn't fucking want you anymore? That you were just a temporary bitch to fuck?!"

She gulps but doesn't say a word to not further agitate him. But the longer she kept quiet, the angrier Leo became.

Her body trembled as her watery, light eyes pleaded for Kevin to help her get away from the demon that seemed ready to eliminate her if she said anything he didn't like.

But all Kevin does is laugh lazily in response as he places his head on top of mine.

This demon was enjoying the show. And he didn't care if his brother harmed his girlfriend... For him, she's just collateral damage for his twisted entertainment.

His chuckle was so sinister. He was enjoying this more than he should, making my stomach twist in panic. Deeply hoping from the bottom of my heart that his attention doesn't gravitate down toward me.

If he's like that with his own girlfriend, I can already imagine how he would treat me if I were in her shoes.

His lack of help makes all three girls look more hopeless than before, when his response to their plea wasn't what they hoped for.

Does he not understand the repercussions that would follow if his twin brother hurt them? It could ruin his brother's whole life. Not only his life but also 'the girls.'

"Didn't I break up with you? I'm pretty sure I did." He asked the blonde sarcastically, turning his attention to her. She recoils into herself like if she wanted to vanish from his dark overwhelming gaze that was glued on her.

It made my heart beat fast when I noticed that he wasn't referring to me as his ex-girlfriend this whole time. Wait, then who does he see me as?

She nods, her hands fisted into tight balls to keep them from shaking uncontrollably.

"I love you. Please don't do this. Leo... I'm sorry, " She whispered- tears building up in her light eyes.

"Love me?" Sorry? Really?" He scuffled in disbelief. "That's so fucking funny hearing it from you... Honestly, you could be a comedian." He laughs as he repeats her words with mockery.

"I'm serious, Leon." The blond continued as she took a step forward.

"So in love with me that you fucked Hansol at your best friend's birthday party and then accused me of cheating on you the next day with your little best friend here. You're funny." When he lets those words out, her face turns pale, as her eyes widen in shock.

Those eyes seemed like they were about to pop out of her face at how she was enlarging them-Currently, not expecting to hear that from him.

Not only was I gazing at her with surprise, but so was the redhead beside her, who snapped her gaze at her in curiosity and with a hint of disappointment.

The redhead opened her mouth to say something to the blond or to defend her but shut it when she was cut off by Leo's deep, low voice that was seeping with venom.

"You are wondering how I found that out, right?" He steps closer to the blonde, making the poor blonde hold her breath.

"That bastard told me himself.

At first, I didn't believe him because he always finds a way to piss me the fuck off... But the more I observed you two, the more I realized it was true.

You know, at first, you fooled me," he chuckled as he continued shaking his head, "almost convinced me that you were different... But sadly, that's not the case, is it?"

"But that was a mistake... I was drunk that night; we all make mistakes."

"Then, by your logic, is Kevin's infidelity also a mistake?" He waited for her to say something, but she didn't, so he continued, "Right, you wouldn't know how to answer that?

So why are you overreacting? Or is it that you like my brother? Is that it? You want to fuck him? Do you want him for yourself?"

She couldn't say anything back as she avoided everyone's eyes. The redhead couldn't stray her eyes from her best friend, as if she were trying to read her body language with just one hard look, to see if what Leo said was true.

"You're such a hypocrite, just like me."

"Right, Emma, she's such a hypocrite?" He looked at me... Simply waiting for me to reiterate what he said, so I did to calm him down a little.

"Yeah, you're a hypocrite." I said it in a low, almost whispering voice. Fuck, I want to go home.

"Come on. Say it fucking louder. So she can really fucking hear you!" Kevin proceeded to add more pressure on the hug, making me repeat it much louder with tears gathering in my waterline when panic started to kick in, at how quickly the situation was unfolding in the wrong direction.

"You want to know so badly who the girl in the photo is, don't you? Then I'll tell you." He leaned into her and whispered into her left ear as he looked at me.

And then he does the same with the redhead.

Both their eyes widened, and then their eyes connected with mine. My heart rate picked up seeing how their eyes didn't sway away from me. Did he tell them it was me in that stupid photo?

Fuck.... I'm so done for. My body began struggling against Kevin, but this fucker wouldn't budge at all.

Instead of seeing their eyes filled with rage and hatred, I see sympathy, and remorse. Or it is just what I hope they would feel inside when they know it was me in that stupid photo.

He nudged them both forward as he said, "Come on, go say what you told me you were going to do with her when you found her, and see how that turns out for you. Just know by the end of it, you won't be breathing."

Both girls stepped back to their places, trying to create space between us, when they heard his words.

"Come on!!! Go!" Leo nudged them forward again, making Kevin laugh when their faces twisted in fear.

"Do you really think Kevin would actually send the girl that he's actually fucking on the down-low to you so the fun could end?" He smiled, but that smile seemed to question her stupidity.

He continues, "Are you fucking stupid?

The only reason he sent that photo was to mess with her, not you.

He likes messing with her. Look how scared she looks. Doesn't she look cute when she's scared?" He pointed the gun at me, making my body sink more onto Kevin's... then he pointed the gun back at her.

Kevin cracks up when he sees how both girls looked so dumbfounded at Leo -when he lets that out in a duh tone.

The third girl that was kissing Kevin downstairs, speaks up with a trembling soft voice, as her eyes were filled with unshed tears. "Look, dude, please let me go. This-This is not my fucking business. And I-I won't tell anybody what is going on up here."

"And why would I believe you?" Leo was now closer to her. Seeing him in front of her made her look so tiny and fragile, even though she's not at all short.

"I mean, look... this girl hired me to drug him up and get some info about a stupid picture." She points at Kevin.

"Plus, why would I snitch? I'm- I'm a fucking drug dealer who is selling drugs to minors. I came with a partner just to do business.

This was just an unexpected side job on my first day on the job."

"Is your partner William?" Leo asked, closing in on her, making her hands tremble by her side.

"Ye-Yeah." She replied, a little confused and surprised at how he knew that piece of information.

"Wait, you mean the one who tatted up?"

"Yeah," she turned to Kevin as her frown grew even more on her face.

"Isn't that the one you know, Emma? The one you were so happily chatting with a few days ago in the hallway?

The one that invited you to this party?" When Kevin asked me that, my whole world stopped, as my violent heartbeats were the only thing I could hear with such clarity.

Leo's attention got drawn to me so fast that it made me flinch on the spot.

The way he was looking at me made me uneasy. I recoiled even more into Kevin's chest trying to disappear from Leo's sight.

"Yea-Yeah." This time my voice was softer, almost afraid to let him hear my answer. When Leo heard that he quickly made himself towards me, I recoiled more into Kevin's arms, trying to avoid Leo's hard-pinned gaze.

He took long strides towards me.

He grabbed me harshly by my left arm and stood me up. We were now face-to-face, so close that our lips were barely touching. "Did he ever offer you drugs? Answer me with the truth, Angel."

"No-No. He'll never. He's nice." I don't know why... But I wanted to defend William.

He looked at me for a few seconds, waiting to see if I'd change my response, but I didn't.

His hard, burning stare flickered down to my lips for a few seconds, then right back up to my eyes, seeing if he could spot a lie in them.

He pushes me harshly back down to Kevin. Kevin securely locks me in his tight embrace again.

"Okay, go." He motioned with his gun for her to go.

When she was moving towards the door, a loud click reverberated through the dim bedroom, making her freeze before she grabbed the doorknob.

"Oops, the safety was on." When he let that out with humor, she turned around with shock plastered on her face, but she quickly recovered herself from that shock and got out of the bedroom, unfortunately, shutting the door behind her hard. Couldn't she have at least left the door open a little?

Leo's attention goes back towards the blond, who seemed like she was about to piss herself at any moment.

"Please just stop it, Leo. Please just leave her alone."

"Are you friends with her?" Leo tilted his head as if he were questioning a dumb child.

"N-No!"

"Then shut the fuck up, Angel." He approached me and grabbed my forearm, yanking me up and away from Kevin's safe arms as he dragged me towards the two girls standing next to each other, forcing me to face them.

"Look at them. Angel. " I look at them, and seeing them up close makes everything feel more real.

They both looked scared, vulnerable, and lost.

I felt bad for both of them. They must've been really scared since they clearly weren't expecting this from the twins.

Their clothes were disheveled, their hair a mess, and their faces wet from the tears that had flowed endlessly from both sides of their faces. But there was nothing I could do or say to save either of them from this madness.

They created this situation, and now they are seeing the consequences of their own actions.

This is going to be a long fucking night.

How would you defuse the situation if you were in one like that? I would make a run for it. LOL🥲🤪
