Earlier that day
Narrator's pov
In an unknown location, we see Sir Kalego watering his plants (cactus). Taking in the peaceful morning in the nether world... Well as peaceful as you can get. Even though Kalego was enjoying this peaceful morning, he couldn't help but feel that something bad was going to happen to him
-Timeskip-
"A-Another one?" Kalego stuttered looking at the family of 4 sitting across from him
"That's right, Kalego-kun. Meet Karma."
"Is this him? He looks like shit." Karma said
As Opera tried to suppress his laughter, Nagisa tried not to get himself and his best friend/brother killed, Sullivan just smiled happily. While the other teachers have mixed responses mainly laughter, shock and fear
Kalego looked like he was about to kill someone but was trying very very to not do it
Karma saw this and cracked a smile. Nagisa knowing what he was about to do quickly covered Karma's mouth
"Shut up, Karma!" Nagisa exclaimed
"What's the matter, Nagisa? I just wanted to ask if our teacher is alright." Karma said with a grin on his face
"You-" Kalego said through gritted teeth then making a growl sound
"I didn't know you keep dogs here gramps. I just hope they're trained." Karma said grinning even more
"Karma! You're gonna get killed!" Nagisa exclaimed trying to get his friend to shut up
-Meanwhile with the teachers-
"He's gonna get killed!"
"Shouldn't the principal stop this before things get out of hand?"
"Hahahaha! Look at Kalego's face! Hahahaha!"
"That brat has a smug look on his face. He knows Kalego-sensei can't do anything against him since his grandfather is there. The problem is when he's not there."
"Look at Kalego-sensei! He looks like he's gonna kill him!"

"Another fun one! I'm gonna have so much fun teaching him!"
"We need to stop this."
"How?"
"I don't know."
"What's going on here?"
"Baram-sensei!"
"Baram-sensei! We're so glad to see you! Quick intervene before things get out of hand!"
"What do you mean?"
"Oh! Someone new! Do you know him, Opera?"
"That is Baram Shinichiro. He is your teacher and one of my kouhais."
_____
Karma stood up and walked over to Baram, arm stretched out "Hi! The name's Karma."
"Hello, Karma-kun." Baram said, shaking his hand
"Shinichiro-kun! Meet my other grandson, Karma." Sullivan said
"... Eh?.... EHHHHH! Yo-You have another one, Principal?!" Baram exclaimed, too shocked to notice that he was ruffling Karma's hair. Karma just stood there accepting his fate since he knows who this teacher is and his quirks thanks to Nagisa
"He's going to be one of Kalego's students from now on since Nagisa is his student as well... And I can't separate brothers! " Sullivan said and in one swift motion, he somehow started to hug both Nagisa and Karma
"... NAGISA HAS A BROTHER?!!!!" The teachers shouted
"Half brother. But yes there brothers none the less." Sullivan said
Sullivan was enjoying the moment with his grandkids. The teachers were stunned. Nagisa was getting tired from all of this. Karma was also enjoying the mayhem. Kalego looked like he was malding. Opera was suppressing his laughter. Outside a mix of different year students were listening on the mayhem happening inside
When the dust settled, Kalego got his bearings and shouted out "Y-" and was cut off by Opera covering his mouth
"I know you are angry at what Karma-sama said but..." Opera looked towards the trio still hugging "I'm sorry Karma-sama. I have nothing."

"It's fine, Opera. I can handle myself." Karma said getting out of the hug session then walked towards Kalego
"Look, sensei~. I know we got on the wrong foot so let's start over. I'm Karma Akabane." Karma said with his hand stretched out
Kalego looked at Karma then the hand and sighed
"Don't do it sensei! Karma is known for being violent!" Nagisa exclaimed
"I would never... Come on sensei~ just shake my hand." Karma said
"Are you just going to leave my master's gesture like that Kalego-kun?" Opera said in his monotone voice but Kalego knew he was threatning him
Kalego shook hands with Karma and... Nothing happened? "See." Karma said with a smile
Everyone in the room except Kalego, Karma, Opera, and Sullivan let out a breath of relief
After everyone had finally calmed down. They started talking about Karma's enrollment and why it was late
Not wanting to bore the two kids, Sullivan said that they could go out and do whatever they want and would call them later to come back after the enrollment process was over
"Do you two need some money?" Sullivan said
Before Nagisa could even ask, Karma beat him to the punch and said "It's fine Grandpa, we have more than enough." as he was waiving a wallet
"Hey isn't that your wallet, Kalego-kun?" Baram asked making Kalego check his being only to find that his wallet was gone
"HOY! GIVE ME BACK MY WALLET DAMN BRAT!" Kalego shouted
"Okay." Karma said with a smile handing him the wallet which shocked everyone except for Nagisa
"Come on, Nagisa! Let's go before we get into more trouble! Haha." Karma said
Nagisa just sighed knowing full well that his school life was once again going to be interesting to say the least
As both of them left closing the doors behind them, they could hear someone shout "DAMN BRAT TOOK ALL OF MY MONEY!"
The two couldn't help but laugh at their teachers expense
-Meanwhile at The Teachers Faculty Room-
"Here's the money I owe you, Kalego-kun... And thanks for giving my grandsons pocket money." Sullivan said with a smile
Kalego just grumbled and just accepted the money
While the teachers except for Baram looked at the money and thought all the same 'THAT'S POCKET MONEY?!!'

The False Paladin
Divine Paladins, a title given to those who were blessed with the Lord's Favor, are the pillars of the kingdom of Calorin. However, a kingdom cannot simply be built from ideals of honor and duty. Sir Roel, the 58th Divine Paladin, knows that he's no hero. His sword is fake, his actual powers are middling, and his thoughts grow more cynical with every passing day. Upon receiving his next task, an order to assassinate a member of royalty, he wonders if the only thing he can do is bow his head and obey. Set in a medieval-era world in which brute strength is often subordinate to the schemes and machinations of the ruling class, this is a low fantasy story about a hero who struggles not only against monsters but also the idea that he's supposed to be the one fighting them. This fiction updates once to twice a week and each chapter is a minimum of 1000 words.

Hope
There were 2 options: Fight the same war for countless more aeons. Shatter the Betrayer's undead legions time and time again until all was ground to dust. Because the endless legions truly never end. A hair's breath of ground in a century is enough if the war takes all of eternity. Or to choose Hope. To cast away his memories, his power, his very life. To wager everything on a chance to prevent their eventual end or to perish trying. Because if he were to return it would be with the power necessary to finally slay what remains of the Betrayer. Of the last Aspect. Only then would all things be right. And so, he chose the latter. Expect:Weak to strong quick-ish.Powerful MC reincarnates, gradually starts regaining memories.MC that is an actual character not a plot device. My original unique magic system discovered along with the MC.My original setting with mythos that have both been living rent free in my head for actual years.Opening arc will be less fast than the following story. Good writing (I think) and grammar. Upload schedulle: 2 chapters a week of 3-4k words each. I want to upscale to 3 in the future. Meant to be read in RR dark mode. For those coming here from my other stories, this is indeed a reimagining of my older story, CotM. I say reimagining because I have changed so much it cannot be called just a rewrite. Among the major changes, MC is fundamentally different in personality and background, I have actually planned the story out and changed it almost completely and I have adjusted my mythos so it no longer has as many holes as swiss cheese.
