《Austeled one-shots》Semicolon ring ('The journal' spinoff)

(I wear a semicolon ring and no one knows what it means so I wanted to make this to explain it)
Context: (Continues after the ending of 'the journal', so lovers.)
Austin's pov
I was taking a short walk around the block around Sam's house. Just as I was headed back, I saw Eteled leaving Sam's house.
"Et!" I called out. He turned to face me, smiling softly.
"Where are you off to?"
"To write in your journal?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
He chuckled. (I hate that word)
"Well anyways. Can I come?" I asked.
He joked.
"Mhm, sure darling." I smirked.
He sighed in embarrassment as we started walking towards the woods.
He grabbed one of the straps to his bag, revealing a small silver ring.
"Is that a semicolon?" I asked.
"Your ring. Is it a semicolon?"
He responded.
"But why? Does it have some sort of meaning, orrr?-" I continued.
"What is it? The meaning."
He sighed.
"Oh, c'mon! I'm invested now!" I exclaimed.
He groaned.
"Now I'm more interested." I stated, walking backwards to face him.
He asked. I nodded in response, making him sigh again.
He stuttered.
"It's okay, take your time." I assured. He took a deep breath in, looking up at me.
He explained, his rhythm becoming quicker and quicker as he spoke.
We both went silent for a moment, unsure what to say.
He chuckled,
"Are.. are you alright?" I asked with concern.
He answered.
I grabbed his hand, stopping; which automatically made him stop too.
He hummed, cut off by me kissing him. It wasn't rough or sexual like usual. It was a soft, gentle kiss. Sort of in a way of saying 'I love you' or 'I'm here for you' without having to actually say it. I cupped his head in my hands, pulling him in slightly more than before.

The kiss parted, leaving us both needing a little bit of air. Something one big sigh could fix. He looked down at me in surprise, blush clouding his face.
"I love you, y'know. I don't think I say that enough. And if you need to talk to me about something, don't hesitate. I know I talk a lot, like I am right now, but.. don't think that you can't, alright?" I said, trying my best to hold eye contact as I held onto his hands.
I saw tears from in the corners of his eyes as I finished. He smiled, letting go of one of my hands to wipe away his years.
He murmured, smiling.
3rd person
They looked into each others eyes for a while, admiring the other.
Eteled said suddenly.
"Oh yeah." Austin mumbled. Eteled took Austin's hand, pulling him with him as he ran.
Eventually the two made it to the woods. They both had a laugh, Henry got some writing done, and overall had a good time, but it started to get dark, so they had to head back.
They both entered Sam's house, creeping past Sam's mum, and hopped back into the Wii.
