Just wait and watch... I have a plan. Do you trust me?? " Chachi asked.

" Then follow me. Just look very serious... As if you are not very happy about this situation as your marriage with Myra broke today. Okay!! " I nodded reluctantly and we both went to join the press conference.

" He went through a lot because someone sent a wrong report to the local newspaper that he was having an affair with his ward. The people started gossiping about them. And the gossipmonger created another story. The poor girl, Roshni faced so much because of that. She was socially boycotted, criticized, kidnapped, and was being sold to some gang. I am still shocked, at what would have happened to the girl if Manik had not saved her life by marrying her. He was supposed to get married to his childhood friend who is also the daughter of my friend. But that wedding is also broken as he had to marry Roshni. We all support what Manik did, as Roshni's life is very important to us. She is an amazing girl and we love her a lot. But our relationship with our friends has tarnished a bit as their daughter was supposed to get married to him. Though they also understand that it was the need of the hour. Imagine so many lives got affected because of someone who reported something they imagined. " Chachu said.

" Sir, but they had photographs of both of them. How can you deny that they were in a relationship? " One of the reporters said.

" Very good question... we have all those pictures too. You read a story about them with those pictures. Now we want you to hear a different but the right story, and we can provide proof for that. If you think that we are being honest and suffered because of that fake news. Please help us clear their name. My wife is going to show all the pictures they used and created a story. " Chachu said.

"You want to say that the pictures are also fake? "The reporter said.

" No!! I never said. The pictures are not fake but the emotions behind them and the circumstances were not the same. Just wait and watch. " Chachu said.

Chachi got up and started explaining how I got engaged and our helicopter had to land and we hired a cab but it also broke down and how we were caught in bad weather. We were going to find a place in a hotel but she lost her balance and fell into the water, she had pain in her body and could not walk so he picked her up in his arms and took her to the hotel. The reporters seemed to understand.

" Just a false story created so many problems for her. Everybody was criticizing her for something she didn't do. She was kidnapped and sold just because they thought she was a gold digger or characterless. She was highlighted so much that they tried to sell her. I think it was a very wise decision on Manik's part to marry her to protect her honor. But his engagement with his childhood friend broke her brother is his best friend. All the relationships are tarnished. They are very reputable people, but they understood and forgave all of us. With God's grace both Manik and Roshni at back with us safe and sound though they had to fight with the armed goons. We are happy to have them safe and sound. " Chachi said.

" We understand what you say but since Mr. Manik Shah was supposed to get married to Miss Myra, would he be able to take Ms. Roshni as his wife gladly? And she is his ward. "

" You are right, each other at the moment so we would not force them to be together we would give them time to understand that they are married to each other. She is quite young she is going to the USA with Mudit bhai and his wife. There she would complete her studies and when she is 21, we will get her back here. They can develop feelings for each other during that time, and if by that time Manik and Roshni don't want to live together, we will find a nice suitable boy for her. " Chachi answered. They nodded and appreciated.

" Mr. Manik Shah, can you accept her as your wife, as you were getting married to Ms. Myra earlier? " A reporter asked.

" I liked Myra but now I am married to Roshni. So what?? Some so many people have arranged marriages, we also had one, I accept her as my wife. I am a bit upset as this thing was not intended. But I don't know why people take so much interest in others' life. I am a good decent man, well-educated and well-settled. She is a good and decent girl. Even if all that story was true, what right do people have to say that our relationship was forbidden?? She and I are not blood relatives, then how is that relationship was forbidden according to our marriage act? Why should society decide what is right or wrong for a couple? See we suffered so much. We were lucky that we are still alive after going through so much. Please try and help in spreading this message that you, I, and us make a society, society should not make or break us. " I said with folded hands.

They all clapped and assured us that they will show our side of the story. The press conference was over and we both took a deep breath when they left.
