" Boys!! Stop this discussion and listen, we need to go back, Viren you may come tomorrow with Raj if you want." Chachi said.

I looked at Roshni, she had no expression on her face and she was not looking at anyone.

" This is a perfect solution. We need to go home and start the preparation according to the new plan." Uncle said and all others nodded.

Oh no!! Take him back with you. In fact, take both of them back with you. I already have too much tension.

" Yeah, we both can spend more time with both of them. I am sure Manik would also like that and tomorrow, we would go back together. " Viren said and Raj nodded.

No, I would not like that... In fact, I hate it.

" Perfect!! Raj would also need some time and may need his help as Raj is as shy as Manik. Viren can help in making both Raj and Roshni comfortable. Chachu is really too much... How can he compare Roshni and Mahi in the same context?

But my family had already adopted her as their daughter. They are not even thinking along the lines of her being their daughter-in-law.

" Yes, thank god our relationship was not tarnished because of that. I was scared that you would be upset with all of us as Viren hit Manik without even listening to him. I would have disowned him if the relationship between all of us was spoilt because of what he did. I would have hated it as we all are such good friends for years now. " Viraj uncle said.

" Thankfully, our kids are good friends too, and they solved everything. Even I value my friendship a lot. I would not have talked to Manik in my life if the relationship between me and my friends was affected. " Chachu said.

Oh, God!! They would disown me and Viren soon.

" I am glad that everything is fine now. This is the first marriage in our second generation. Mohit, Srusti, Sujoy, and Sneha all are so excited, we all are going to be a big family. " Maya aunty said.

I don't know about family, but I hope they remain friends at least.

The elder ones left after lunch and Viren and Raj stayed.

" Hey beautiful, you are unusually quiet today, is everything alright? " Viren asked Roshni. She just nodded with a fake polite smile.

" Then why are you behaving differently? Are you not well? " Viren asked.

" Examination fever... I am sure." I said to change the topic.

" No, I am not a duffer, even if you think so. I am fully prepared for the exams." She said but didn't even look at me.

What happened to her? Why is she being so touchy ?

"So? I was an excellent student and still, I used to have examination fever. " I said looking at her trying to explain that I didn't mean to say what she thought I said.

" Well, I am not that super-intelligent like you, just a normal, above-average student. " She said but I knew she was upset.

" Oh stop it both of you. I have never heard a more boring conversation between a man and a woman than yours. Thank God!! You are not getting married to each other... Or you would have bored each other to tears. " Viren said.

" Of course, because he would not have been able to strike up a conversation with me. After all, I am stupid and not that pretty and hot. Thank god, he is getting married to a very beautiful, hot and smart Myra. Congratulations!! " She said.

Did she hear our conversation when I was saying... Oh, God!! I need to tell her why I said that.

I was shocked... She heard the whole conversation?? How?? We were sitting on one side of the dining table and chachu and uncle were on the other side. Even they could not have heard it. How did she hear the conversation?

" You shut your ears, I am talking to Roshni and Raj. So Roshni, as you know yours as well as his family wants both of you to talk to each other and see if you would like to spend your whole life together... So, I suggest that both of you go on a date and spend some time together. " Viren said.

He is going to be dead soon.

" But what is the use of going on a date as only we are here? They can talk here in front of us if they want. " I said.

" Why?? Did you go on a date with Myra with everyone around you?? " Viren said.

" What is your problem, Viren?? Why are you forcing them to spend time alone? Why can't they talk here?? We all are friends... "

" I want them to go out on a date and spend time alone because you are not allowing them to get comfortable. I don't know why but I feel that you don't want them to talk. " Viren said.

" That's absurd, why would I do that? "

" I don't know... Maybe because she is like a sister or child to you. " He said.

" Oh, shut up!! She is not... She is a young beautiful girl..." I said.

" But definitely not as beautiful as Myra... " She said immediately.

" Sure, I will take you to my favourite place here. " She said and I felt some pain in my chest.

She never even told me about her favourite place. Or any of her other favourite things.

But you never asked her. She knows all your favourite... My conscience retorted.

" That would be awesome, we must get to know each other. I would like to know what kind of a person Roshni is. Shall we go?? " Raj asked with a smile.

" Yeah, just give me five minutes, please. " She said and went upstairs.

Raj and Viren were talking so I went after her. She went to her room and I went after her when she went into her room and turned to lock it, I slipped inside.

" What are you doing here? " She asked.

" We need to talk... " I pulled her hand as she stepped back.

" There is nothing to talk about. Please go out, you are not supposed to be here. I need to go, Raj Ji is waiting. " She said.

" Roshni, What are you doing? Why are you going with him? " I asked.

" None of your business. " She said. I turned her and kissed her lips. She pushed me with all her might.

" Leave me alone!! I don't want to talk to you. " She said.

" But why are you so angry with me? I said all that as I was just trying to change his mind. " I said.

" Why?? I like him. "

" What do you mean, you like him?? "

" C'mon Mr Shah, you don't understand English now?? I like him means that I like him and if he likes me too, I would agree. " She said.

" Agree to do what?? " I was shocked.

" Marriage what else?? " She said.

" Are you out of your mind?? You are not going out with him." I said.

" Try and stop me. I will call Viren Ji for help. " She said.

" Roshni!! Please don't go... I would die. "

" Wow! You are getting married to another girl, and I can't even go out?? Don't worry, you won't die before getting married to her after all she is extremely beautiful, so hot and sexy. You won't die before you marry her. " She said.

" I am not getting married to her. I love you. " I said.

" Stop lying!! I am going out with him. At least someone wants me in his life. Congratulations!!! " She said and went out.

Raj was waiting for her, and they both went out.

I kept standing there feeling some pain in my chest.

The whole city was against our relationship, I would have talked to Chachi but they came with Viraj uncle and Maya aunty. Our relationship was already not acceptable to the society and on top of that, I could not just say it so openly and create a hell lot of problems to add more to the existing ones.

She had already gone with Raj and I felt as if I could not breathe.
