What happened between him and his girlfriend? Is everything alright between them?? Was he frustrated that his friends were angry with him??

Yes, it could be one of the reasons... Oh, I should not have shouted at him.

Just then there was a knock at the door. I turned to look in that direction and saw him standing there.

" Yes, Manik Ji, shall we make a move? " I asked picking up my handbag and pulling my stroller. He came forward and took hold of the stroller.

" I am sorry, let's go and have food, I am hungry too. " He said.

" Manik Ji, I am sorry too. But please tell me what is going on between you and your friends?? Viren Ji was very angry when he left. "

" He and Sujal have not talked to me since then. I am very upset. We all have been friends since we were 6 or 7. It has been twenty years and we all have been inseparable. And now they are not even talking to me. I feel that I am getting frustrated. I am sorry for behaving like that... I should not have taken out my frustrations on you. None of it was your fault. " He said.

I felt guilty again that I had wished that Viren Ji should get to know and disapprove of their relationship.

" Everything will be alright. He is angry at the moment but will cool down. I am sure Shlok and Shaurya Ji will make him understand. I am sure, even he must be upset after fighting with you. Now that you are going there, try and persuade him to talk to you. " I said.

" Hmm... I intend to do that. Let's go and have food. " He said and we both went to the dining room.

After lunch, we both went out and she was going toward my car when I stopped her.

" This way, Roshni... " I said.

" But your car... "

" Come with me! " I held her hand while a servant was coming after us with our luggage.

She was shocked to see the helicopter on the helipad.

" Oh, my God!! We are going by that?? " She asked with her eyes as big as saucers.

" Yes!! We need to reach there before evening. " I said, feeling good to see that she was excited.

" Really? Wow!! I have never even seen a helicopter, so close to me. " She said with child-like excitement.

I helped her climb it and the servants put our luggage in. I asked her to fasten the safety belt, she did that. The pilot took it off and she held my arm with excitement. She was excited as well as scared.

" Manik Ji, How many times you have travelled by this?" She asked.

" I have not counted, have been doing it since I remember coming to Surat. " I said. But as it gained altitude and speed she was scared.

" Manik Ji, Are you sure, this is safe??" She asked looking into my eyes.

" See, I am still alive. " I said with a smile. She shifted closer to me unconsciously. And caught my arm even more tightly.

" But I am a bit scared..." She said looking at me. I don't know why, but I felt like a superhero.

" Don't worry, I will not let anything happen to you. Hold my this hand. " I said and she caught my other hand.

I wrapped my arm around her and somehow felt very good. As if it was the most natural thing to do.

She was looking very pretty, with that scared but excited look on her face. I thought of distracting her.

" See we are going over Ahmedabad, the largest city in the state of Gujarat. Look there, Sabarmati River is running through its centre. " I said and she leaned towards me to see the view on my right side. I was feeling elated when I saw that sweet smile. Now she was getting confident and started enjoying the ride.

" Wow!! Which other cities will be in the way?" She asked.

" The famous cities between Surat and New Delhi are Jaipur, Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Gurugram (Gurgaon), Vadodara, Pushkar, Alwar, and Ajmer. Jaipur is the most popular city on the route, 3 hours from New Delhi by road. " I told her.

" Oh my God!! All those places are so beautiful... I wish, to see them someday. " She said.

" Ok, next time we will go by car then we can see. " I said.

" Really! Thank you!! " I was rewarded with such a beautiful smile.

My eyes went to her lips. And I recalled that kiss she gave me, it had shaken me so much. I felt sparks though she had simply placed her lips on mine. On other hand, I didn't feel anything when Myra give me a proper kiss and she even bit and sucked my lower lip. But I literally didn't feel anything.

How is that possible??

How can a simple gesture by a very sweet innocent girl affect me more than the proper kiss by my hot and desirable girlfriend??

I was thinking about all that while she was still sitting in the circle of my arms. She turned to look at something on my right side and those soft, pink lips were very close to me.

I don't know what happened to me, but I really wanted to touch them. Taste them and see if they create the same sensation in my body again.

I smiled at the fact that those lips gave me my first kiss and were not even aware of it. I was too shocked to react at that time but I was really tempted to do it now.

My heartbeat increased and I was feeling great...

" Manik Ji!! Look at that fort, which place is this? " She asked and I came out of my thoughts. She was showing me something on her side I leaned a bit into her to look at what she was pointing at. Her faint floral fragrance was alluring and I wanted to get lost in it. I was getting affected too much.

What was happening to me? Why was I getting aware of her too much??

" Tell me, Manik Ji. You don't know?? Can I ask the pilot?? " She asked looking at me with her big beautiful orbs.

Oh!! My God!! Anyone can get lost in them.

" That is Kumbhalgarh fort. " I said.

" Don't you think it beautiful?? " She asked.

" Hmmm... beautiful and fragrant. " I said.

" Fragrant??? " She asked with confused look.

" Er... Um... Fantastic. It was a slip of tongue what I meant to say was that it was beautiful and fantastic. " I said. I needed to focus.

" Yeah!! "

Just then the helicopter tilted a bit on her side and she panicked and caught me immediately.

" Oh, my God!" She muttered against me.

I lost my mind and held her in my arms by wrapping them around her soft warm body. It was such a nice feeling I tightened my arms around her.

" It's ok, Roshni. Don't worry... Nothing would happen. I am here for you. " I said closing my eyes. I was feeling very calm and good.

I had never felt like that with Myra. Why??

She remained there in my arms for a minute and then pushed lightly on my chest. I realised what I did and loosened my arms around her.

She got away from me and turned to look outside. I got embarrassed too but somehow I didn't feel bad. I loved having her in my arms. My heart beats faster, I feel a spark when she touches me. I realised that I felt it.

There was an awkward silence between us and I wanted to break it.

" So, would you like to come by car next time so that we can see some of them? " I asked, she nodded with a smile.

After a few minutes, we saw the udaipur fort and then the Amer fort in Jaipur.

She was looking at them with fascination and I was looking at her beautiful face that was shining with excitement.

But then she looked at me ogling at her and became reserved all of a sudden.

" Roshni, what happened?? Why did you become so serious all of a sudden? " I asked.

" Nothing... " She said shaking her head.

" Please tell me, it hurts me when you start avoiding me. " I said.

" I am not avoiding you, Manik Ji. I am trying to be a bit mature and let you go out of my mind. I am trying to give you space so that you are not suffocated by my presence in your life. Moreover, I am trying to stop myself from falling more for you. You have Myra in your life. So I should stay away from both of you. That's it. " She said and looked away.

I didn't know what to say to her as I was helpless so we stayed quiet till we reached home.

I felt something for her too but could not tell her I didn't want her to get hopeful that we could have something between us. It was forbidden.

I would talk to Chachi when I get a chance and tell her everything. Let's see what she says about it.
