《>Twisted minds》Chapter 24: Domesticated

Lucas sighed as he stared at you. The lights were out, and you were asleep. The small digital clock on the nightstand read: 1:34 A.M.
His slender finger ran across your cheek. He smiled as your nose wrinkled a bit. You huffed out a bit before rolling to your other side. He just smiled even more as he wrapped an arm around your waist. You unconsciously nuzzled back against him. This was it. His dream had finally became a reality. This is all he's even wanted. A calm, peaceful life with you. No stress, no distractions, just the two of you. The perfect domestic life.
"Lucas."
His hummed in response to your groggy voice.
"What time is it?"
"1:30."
"Why are you still awake?"
A smile crept to his face as you looked over your shoulder, your eyes squinted shut.
"I just woke up, s-sorry for waking you," he whispered, running his hand along your arm.
"Just go back to s-sleep love."
You just hummed in response, rolling back over. He continued to rub your arm until your breathing slowed once again, watching as you fell back asleep.
God. You were perfect. Everything about you. From your face, to your personality, even the way you woke up in the morning all grumpy. There wasn't a thing wrong with you. Imperfection had never known you.
Unlike him. The way he spoke made him want to vomit, however, being around you has helped his anxiety. He doesn't stutter quiet as much as he used to, just being in your presence has calmed his nerve's tremendously. Sometimes he was ashamed of the way he looked. His hair was grown out just a bit. He didn't know how to keep it maintained, just opting to cutting it himself whenever he deemed it too long. Maybe he could ask you to cut it for him, however you want to. Whenever he looked in the mirror he was embarrassed by his body. He never liked to flaunt it like other men. Sure, he would do the occasional workout, wanting to stay healthy but he was never one for the gym.

"You keep moving around."
His body stiffened at your voice once more.
"S-sorry."
"Stop apologizing and go to sleep," you mumbled, rolling over to face him.
Your eyes cracked open just enough to see his face. You leaned towards him, and pecked him on the cheek. He relaxed once he felt you melt into his arms.
"Okay."
......
His eyes followed your figure. You had accepted his offer of cutting his hair. His heart thrummed in his chest as he recalled your smile. It was such a simple smile that could solve all his problems.
"Okay, rest your head on the edge of the sink," you said softly, guiding him back.
Lucas did as you said, resting his head back. The feeling of warm water trickling down his neck caused him to relax in his seat. He melted into your touch as you began running your fingers through his hair, thoroughly dispersing the shampoo. He cracked his eyes open, watching you closely. You donned a soft smile, watching your hands intently. Your eyes cut to his and you smiled, flicking some water in his face. Lucas flinched back and laughed. He brought his hands to his face, wiping away the droplets.
"So mean," he mumbled.
"Oh my," you said, sarcasm lacing your words.
"Silly me, it was an accident."
The two of you giggled once more before you began rinsing his hair for the last time. You dried his hair, wrapping the towel around his shoulders.
"Alright, what do you want?" You asked while brushing out his hair.
"Surprise m-me," he said.
"Bowl cut it is," you said in a serious tone.
"No," Lucas said as he latched onto your wrists with a smile.
"No bowl c-cut."
A laugh escaped you as your u reassured him you were joking. He closed his eyes as you began chopping away at his hair. The satisfying sound of the scissors slicing through hair filled the air. He hummed as you gently tugged his hair from time to time, measuring it to make sure it was the same length. A grin spread along his features when he felt you peck the end of his nose.

"And we're done."
He shook his head a few times, ridding it if the loose hairs.
"What do you think?" You asked, walking towards the bathroom.
He followed you, stepping into the small room. His smile grew at the new style.
"It's perfect," he said, pulling you into a small hug.
"Happy you like it. To be honest I though I was going to botch it," you giggled, leaning against him.
He just laughed before quickly kissing your lips. The two of you stayed like that for a minute before you pushed him off.
"Alright, get through the shower while I go clean up."
He nodded, turning around and turning the shower faucet on. You walked out of the bathroom, and back into the kitchen. Grabbing the broom, you began sweeping, making sure to get every last raven colored piece of hair off the floor. Once you were satisfied with your work, you made your way to the bathroom again. You knocked on the door before opening it.
"Mind if I join you?" You asked.
You heard Lucas hum in response, letting you know that you could.
You quickly stripped down, grabbed an extra towel out of the cabinet, set it on the counter, and then hopped in. Lucas stepped to the side so you could rinse your hair. You stood under the warm water, a content feeling overwhelming you. You felt his arms wrapped around your mid-section, pulling flush against him. You smiled, leaning back against him. The two of you stood like that for quiet sometime, just enjoying each others company.
This was perfect. You were genuinely happy. You were...in love. In love with a man that worshipped the ground you walked on. A man who treated you like a goddess. A man who truly loved you. There was nothing more you could ask for. This was the perfect domestic life you'd always wanted.
