Who the hell is Sweetness?

Murky sewer water splashed around his boots as King landed in the sewage. He quickly threw his arm over his nose to block out the horrible stench.

"Ewww!" Maya cried out when it was her turn.

"Hurry up, crybaby." K.O fused trying to climb down.

"I can't. Let's go another way." Maya chocked. She was hugging tightly onto the ladder. It was too much.

"Listen, princess. There isn't another way." King said, stepping to the girl. "Just get on my back."

And she did.

"Diva." K.O chimed, holding back a gag when he splashed down next.

Ricky did throw up though, cringing as he flailed around the puddle. "This is diabolical."

Danny just floated down and hovered over in the air. He raised his hand and the cover lifted and sealed the hole back up.

"Show off," Ricky grumbled towards the teen, who just shrugged with a smirk.

"Let's go." King said.

The group marched on until they came to where the sewer trail broke off into three directions.

"This way, the air opens wider." K.O stated pointing to their left. They continued on forward coming until they were in an open space.

K.O was right. The area looked like an underground black market. Cages and cells filled with creatures and exotic findings were lined up around with roach guards marching the aisles.

"Ho~ly shit." King gawked as they marveled at the surrounding.

"This is way deeper than just loaning money." Ricky muttered out in disbelief.

The group didn't notice the pair of roaches sneaking up behind them, before Danny shot around in time and forced them into the air. The hissing gained the others attention. One by one the others hissed and ran in to attack.

"I don't have time for this. Danny, handle it." King grumbled.

Danny nodded, then thrusted his hands up, lifting all the roaches off their feet.

"I'm not here to fight. Just wanna talk." King tried to reason.

One roach summoned a slime ball and lurched it at the group. They shielded their eyes as the goo splashed onto them. Danny lost focus and the roaches were free falling.

A sharp tendril smacked King across his cheek, causing him to stumble. "Forget about it then." His hands glowed into metal hammerheads, and he was smacking them away.

K.O summoned a whirlwind that whipped some of them out to the waters. Danny and Ricky tagged team throwing a few off their selves.

"I just wanted to talk!" King roared out as he punched a few more down.

"STOP!" A voice stilled the floor. All heads turned to look over as a tall man (they think?) sashayed in. He had the physique of a handsome young man, with the skin of a roach. Down to the antennas. He was dressed in a white suit with his shirt unbuttoned to show his chest and a flashy feathered hat. A gold cane pound the ground as he made his way towards them. He resembled an earth pimp.

He paused and removed his shades with a frown.

"What is this playing out in my den. I'm not digging the vibes you bringing in." Sweetness said with a husky tone, yet surprisingly flowed like a song.

"You took my friend you creep." Maya seethed baring her teeth.

"Um, hey." King spoke aloud from the fight with a slight wave of his hand. "The name's King. I came here to have a talk with you."

"A talk you say, a talk you want." Sweetness said, rubbing his chin and eyed the group. "Speak your peace."

King looked around at everyone as he stepped forward "Well you see. Your little henchmen kidnapped my daughter's friend."

"Property of Sweetness is no business of yours ya dig?"

"I understand Mr. Sweetness, sir. It's just, she was wrongfully taken, and we really need her back." King pleaded. As long as it would prevent a fight, he will reason to his last breath.

"Last I checked, brotha, my voice box worked just fine. So, I know you heard, Sweetness." The loan shark stated as his voice grew more intense. "My property is none of your concern."

King stared at the man with a tight jaw and clenched fist.

"Now if ya'll are done with your talking, you can get to walking the way you came. We have no cheese or beef with you magics." Sweetness settled on and started to turn to leave.

King bit into his cheek and then regrettably shook his head, "We can't do that."

"Oh?" Sweetness paused then turned to face the group. "Is that no I'm hearing?" He asked with a purr.

The corner of Sweetness mouth curled as he just eyed the group slyly. He lifted his cane off the ground then slammed it down. With a poof, Esther and a man appeared at his feet bound up.

"Esther." Maya cried out.

A sly grin tilted Sweetness lips while his intense gaze never strayed from the group.

"Mr. Valentine here owe me a whole lotta dough. You want them, you got to talk some 123's. He isn't going nowhere until I get mine, ya dig?" That last part was growled out as the man? roach? thing bared his sharp teeth.

The group peered over to their master.

"Whatever he owe, I have it so let them go." King reasoned.

The man roach chuckled. "It's funny you think it will be easy. Since you trespassed on my turf how about we make things spicy." Sweetness raised his cane up then slammed it down.

King jerked as an intense feeling overcame his body then went still.

Sweetness just stood with his never-ending grin on his face.

"King!?" Ricky called out. "What are you doing? What's going on?"

"I... I can't move." King forced out behind clenched jowls. He was commanding every muscle to move, yet his body remained still. He attempted to glare over at Sweetness. What was this guy?

"What do you mean you can't move, mate?" Ricky yelled back.

"What I said." King spat out.

"Now let's crank up the party." Sweetness enthused with a thrust of his crotch. "Play my theme music!"

The lights suddenly turned off leaving the entire area dark before spotlights blared brightly from the floor, centering around Sweetness and King. Blaring knocking noises bounced through blending together into a funky song.

Fluid and light Sweetness began dancing, hitting spins and arm thrust like he was from an Earth's disco video. Sweetness glided along the floor as the song took over then danced towards King and paused as he pointed at him.

The group was confused and a little dumbfounded. Were they really having a dance battle?!

"Like I'm going to dance." King started to laugh the man off, but he jolted once he found his shoulders moving. He couldn't believe his eyes as his body began twisting to the beat. He was doing things he never thought he could. He tried to fight against it, but Sweetness hold was too strong. King flowed around, then his body paused to point at Sweetness.

"Don't fight it!" Sweetness sang loudly as he started back up dancing with a smile. He was getting a great thrill out of this because he was dancing around like he owned the floor. He hit a little spin move then fell down in a split then pointed at King.

"Go King!" Maya yelled out before the group started a chant for the man.

His body grooved around, leaping flips in the air and doing cool footwork. He too started a spin trick, before his mind started screaming 'Don't do it don't do it', then hit a split. His body cringed up and he pointed at Sweetness and gritted out, "Your turn."

Him and King took turns showing their off moves until they grew tired.

King could suddenly feel the hold on his body wear off and he took that chance to catch his breath, leaning over to rest on his knees.

"What kind of sick game is this?" King bit out.

"Game?" Sweetness exclaimed with a laughed. "Oh no baby, ain't no gaming going on up in here. It's about to get real!" He slammed his cane against the ground and a chill went up Ricky, K.O, and Maya's spine. A few roaches gathered behind Sweetness. "Best team takes it home!"

Sweetness and his minions started dancing, hitting perfect poses and man-splits.

When it was the Doves turn, the beat got more rougher changing the vibe. Ricky stepped out and he and King started hitting some dope footwork like they were in an Earth 90's house party. Maya and K.O joined in, then they really put on a show.

Sweetness came back with a few moves of their own, but this beat wasn't up to their level. The Doves were catching on.

King twirled around only to notice Danny standing off watching them with a gleeful smirk unaffected. The master pouted then started thinking really hard.

'I hope you're enjoying the show you rascal.' King thought.

'Yeah I am actually,' Danny responded back.

'Haha, well when you're ready. Get us out of here!'

The boy rolled his eyes then he raised his hands and the group including Esther and Justin disappeared.

The group was teleported back outside of the gates, crashing to the ground. King groaned in pain as he sat up and looked around.

"You couldn't have aimed us for home, Danny?" The master groaned with agitation filling his voice.

The boy started signing in a rush but was interrupted by noise from the other side of the fence.

"Let's move it, yeah." Ricky urged and the group ran back up the alley.

Once they were in eyesight of the casino, they noticed people running out of it. The group was baffled for a minute before they remembered...

Alche and Ivy

The doves made their way into the casino and their eyes bulged at the sight.

Sand piles were scattered throughout the establishment with roach bodies lying amongst the mess. The family looked around, but they didn't search for long when they spotted Ivy and Alche sprinting their way.

When they regrouped, King noticed a robot strapped to Ivy's back.

"What's with the bot?"

"I'll explain later." She muttered.

Danny summoned a vortex and the group went through it, leaving the Hot spot behind them.

Back at the guild...

The Doves stood outside of their doors and watched as Justin and Esther gathered their belongings to travel back home.

Justin stepped up to King and gave him a slight bow. "Thank you so much master King for saving my daughter's life. I might have failed her at life, but I'm thankful to know there are ones who will have her back when I myself can't."

King let a deep sigh. "Look man, being a father is tough. I understand. When we become parents, there is no golden book of guidelines for us to follow. It's just something we learn along the way. That's not to say that we don't make careless mistakes, but when we have decisions to make, we must think of our children first and how our actions will affect them. They are our timeline, not the other way around." King spoke wisely. He reached his hand out for the man to shake, who took it boldly.

Justin nodded in agreement as he looked down to his only daughter. Even though he has twelve kids, it still baffled him that each child will teach him a different way to love.

"Yes, you're absolutely right. I guess we should take our leave home. I have to show my family I'm still alive." Justin said as he scratched his head anxiously. He was in for a world of hurt.

Esther ran up and threw her arms around King and hugged him tight. "Thank you for believing in me and bringing my dad home."

King smiled then hugged her back. "Oh, you're welcome kid. And you can come visit or hang out with us anytime you want. From now on, Esther Valentine, you are a part of our family."

The guild cheered loudly.

Esther cheesed hard as she watched the family.

"Watch back. Get out of the way." A voice pushed through the crowd until Maya rushed through pulling a largely pack suitcase behind her.

"What's this sweetie?" Nara asked the red head.

"Well, this whole situation cleared my head and I think it's time I paid my parents a visit. I'm going back to Fluer for a while." Maya answered with a gleeful tone. She loved being with the Doves, however her parents need her too. Plus, she kind of miss home and a plain life.

Nara hugged the girl tight, and King followed with a hug of his own.

"You all be careful, and Maya call us once you make it." Nara said lovingly.

"Yes I will." Maya said back and three were off.

There you have it. Once again, the day was saved by the Doves giving the people another day to hate. As the family waved goodbye to their parting extension, they couldn't help but wonder what the future had in store. Gracious for you reading with me today and a farewell you fruity fucks.

.. brain break ...

King looked down at his wife with a lustful smile, "Let's have a baby."
