《I Can Make You Smile (David x Reader)// CAMP CAMP》23

I kicked my feet up onto the dashboard and let my head fall back, giving myself into the car seat.
"I can't believe Charlie sacrifice herself!" Nikki yelled.
"Yeah! That was total bullshit!" Max agreed. I chuckled, closing my eyes and listening to them bicker.
"Language!" David snapped.
"Oh come on! Samuel curses all the time!" Max yelled. I opened my mouth to say something but David instantly defended me,
"She's an adult, Max!"
"Then why are you dating her?" Nikki asked.
"Because David is David," I answered. David was quiet momentarily,
"Thank you..." He mumbled. The three campers in the back continued to argue, causing me to lean forward and turn up the volume. I closed my eyes again, letting myself attempt to sleep. I felt a warmth against my hand after four fingers intertwined with mine, I came to the conclusion that David was now holding my hand.
I smiled softly at his caring gesture, humming to the music that blasted from the radio. I closed my eyes, wanting to rest them from the bright sunlight but eventually drifted to sleep.

I pulled off my shoes and placed them beside my bed.
"Hey, um. I'm gonna go take a shower." I announced, taking off my socks next.
"Can... Can I join you?" The voice of David asked.
"W-What?" I felt my cheeks flush as I turned around to face David. Once I did, I was instantly pushed against the wall, my hands being pinned against the wood and the cabin fading away to the bathroom's shower.
His lips roughly attacked mine, both our upper clothes were now gone. The steam covered our bottom half, but our lower clothes seemed to be away as well. The burning hot water made it hard to breathe, causing me to pant as the water poured on both of us. David pulled away, trailing down my neck with his lips, getting lower and lower, his lips gently nibbled at my waist before he trailed back up to my chin.

He then slightly moved back to lock eyes with mine. I gasped, staring at the bright blue orbs,
"D-David-?" I asked. He smirked before picking my feet off the ground, pushing his torso against mine as he wrapped my legs around his waist.
"David?" He asked, his voice seeming uncomfortably sinister, "Why I'm Daniel~" he smirked before beginning to trial more down my neck with his lips.
"N-No! T-This..." My sentence dissolved into moans as 'Daniel''s kisses became more and more agressive, something that I would never think of David doing. "Y-You're..." I moaned louder, "Not- David." I panted. The blonde haired David dug his nails into my thigh.
It was my turn to dig my nails into his skin, trailing my fingertips down his back, not sure if what I feel is blood or the shower water. Daniel locked eyes with me again, his face dripping with burning water from the shower, but his lips dripping a purple liquid and blood mixed,
"No, I'm not David." He grinned, tilting his head slightly, "I think I might be better than him."
he then leaned in, taking my bottom lip between his teeth before looking back into my eyes again, "You're so beautiful..." He whispered, "I think... I just might keep you..."
//
"(Y/N)?!"
"Enough with the pet names, David! Her name is Samuel!"
"It's, (Y/N)! Max!"
I jolted up, grasping my breath to realize that David had his knee inside the car, his arm reached over to unbuckle my seat belt. He smiled at me,
"Afternoon, (Y/N)! We're back at the camp!" He grinned. I brought a hand up to my head, images of the shower and the new Daniel character flashing through my mind.

"I-... I'll be in the cabin in a moment. I'm just going to... Stay in here for a bit." I mumbled. David's smiled faltered to a concerned expression.
"Is everything okay?" He asked. I nodded,
"Y-Yeah. Just give me a few minutes."
"... Okay." David smiled before leaning in to kiss my cheek. I flinched at his close proximity, flashes of my dream coming into mind. His smile dropped again before he repeated, "Okay." Then left the car.
I... I knew that wasn't David. But it looked like him. But he didn't hold the same presence as David, and I let the dreams situation continue even with my knowledge that he WASNT DAVID
I sighed, holding my head in my hands. Maybe I should tell David about the dream? How will he react?
What if the actions in the dream happen in real life? David... Joining me... In the shower?
Ah! No! I... Would he do that?
I let out an annoyed groan, covering my face with my hands.
"Samuel?" Max asked. I screamed, jumping and leaning away from the back of the seat. I let out a breath,
"Oh... It's just you, Max." I mumbled.
"Your face is red." He commented, pointing to my cheeks. I looked away, placing my hands on my burning cheeks. "Your dream seemed pretty... Exotic." He chuckled.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You said David's name, You're face is fully red, and if I think so... You might've moaned."
I felt my cheeks flush more before I looked away,
"I uh... Had a weird dream.", I started. Max rose a brow,
"Did you have a sex dream with David?" He asked. I coughed,
"That's the thing, Max. It wasn't David-"
"WHAT?!" He yelled.
"It was... David at first! But then it turned to this... Blonde haired David that seemed so sinister..." I sighed, laying my head on the back of the chair. "Why am I telling a 10-year-old?!" I asked, more to myself. Max smirked,
"I can help?" He asked. "Give me details."
"I... Said I was taking a shower. David asked to join and the next thing I knew we were both in the shower together! But then... It was some guy named Daniel!" I sighed, covering my face.
"I... Think you need some sleep" he chuckled. I nodded, climbing out of the car.
"I'm gonna go... Sleep. Maybe." I sighed. Max got out as well and followed behind me. I walked into the counselor cabin and instantly fell onto my bed, a groan escaping my lips.
"Hey, David," Max smirked, walking into the cabin. David shot up from his sitting position, giving a solute,
"Yes, Max?" He asked. Max's smirk got wider before he pointed toward me,
"Samuel wants to have shower sex with you!"

Dear Spellbook (Link to rewrite in blurb)
A rewrite of this story has been posted here: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/49881/dear-spellbook-a-fantasy-time-loop-rewrite Live. Study. Repeat. Tal is a sorcerer in a world where they are killed on sight, traveling with a man charged with carrying out the task. Every night Tal must pretend to study his spellbook to maintain his disguise as a Wizard’s Apprentice. If his disguise slips and his charade is uncovered, it will be his death. Seeking answers to mysteries that arose after his parent’s murder, Tal must accept any allies, no matter the risks, to uncover his family’s secret. But when he wakes up one morning to find himself trapped repeating the same day, he has to overcome his challenges all on his own. This story is an adaptation of a D&D campaign I ran but never was able to complete. I tried to capture the feel of a table-top RPG session —tropes and humor— without relying on the mechanics. This is not a litRPG or gamelit story and no D&D mechanics or system appear in the game. It follows one member of an adventuring party as he deals with the problems with that arise from being an adventurer. Namely, getting roped into adventures. The story has a time loop element, but will eventually move past that. This story explores the magic systems, the history, and the lore of the world through the lens of Tal's entries in his Spellbook and interludes from other written works in the world. New entries on Mondays Credit to JackOfHearts for the cover.

Code Reader Kagami (LitRPG)
Sometimes things happen in this world that we are not in control of. Sometimes we are to a certain degree, and sometimes we are completely in control. However, this is a tale that constantly questions those boundaries. The story follows Kagami, a young programmer, as he winds up in a world almost alien to him. If it were up to him, he would have never visited this world and would rather stay raising his young daughter. Was it through his own actions that he had wound up here? Was it due to several combinations of factors? Or was it something he completely chose. These are questions that constantly haunt Kagami’s mind as he wanders this world and ponders his actions. Unfortunately, the glaring truth of it all refuses to ever look him in the eyes. Each night as he looks up at the night sky, he wonders if the end of this would turn out like the game he made. A tale of Guts and Glory… or would it turn out like he fears, a tale of blood and tears. Regardless of how it turns out, he will one day unveil the truth enshrouding it all. And perhaps in doing so, unveil the fate of his old world, enshrouded by mystery. ___________________________________________________________________________ While this is a typical Isekai started by the infamous truck-kun, the story is most definitely not what is to be taken at face value. I love making tragic twists into these types of stories. For Code Reader Kagami, you'll begin to see a descent into psychological madness. As your hero changes entirely from the moral man he initially was. If you're not a fan of dark aspect stories, this one is not for you. Thank you~
