That night the volcano Popocatepec erupted after 100 years.

A pillar of lava forms into the sky, covering the moon.The volcano erupts with great force, lava flows like a river creating extreme heat. The group got away just in time on higher grounds avoiding the Lava Rivers.

The group observes the Volcano. “This can’t be…” Kasumi looks nervous as she thinks; “Uriel’s mana…disappeared…”

“It’s impossible even for El Charro Negro to survive…” Sister Veronica comments in a low tone. “Maybe there is still hope, come on, we must look for him…” Alejandro walks in search of Uriel.

In another part of the Volcano, Leticia and Giovanni also walk, searching for Uriel; “Where could he be?”

“Bambina…I’m afraid our search is pointless…if he was inside the Volcano, than that eruption must have killed him…you must let the hat go…it’s slowing you down…”

“That’s not true…he made a promise that he would survive…that’s why…I will keep this hat until I see him again…” Leticia replies with an angry expression. Giovanni chuckles; “Sorry Bambina…”

“Leticia…my name is Leticia…”

“Right…Leticia…it’s a pleasure, I am Giovanni…” Giovanni stretches his hand, Leticia shakes his hand. Giovanni walks looking at the sky; “I guess…I still need to atton for my sins…right, God?”

Suddenly, Leticia and Giovanni stop as they hear someone coming. There seem to be some shadows moving in the trees. Giovanni extends his hand; “Stay behind me Leticia…I sense a large amount of mana approaching us…”

Giovanni takes out his gun ready to fire, Leticia looks nervously at the trees. “There’s someone there…we must hurry…” They hear a voice approaching, Giovanni shouts; “Stay where you are!”

(BBAANNNGGG)

Giovanni fires his pistol, the silhouette dodges the bullet and jumps into the air; “WHY YOU!” As the clouds move away from the moon, revealing Alejandro in the air, Giovanni opens his eyes wider; “It’s you…Alejandro!”

“GIOVANNI!” Alejandro falls into the trees as he lost his composure. “Alejandro what happened?” Kasumi runs towards him, Sister Veronica, who is right behind her stops as she opens her eyes wider:

“I-I-It can’t be…”

“What's wrong?” Ana and the others also come out of the trees. Ana stops as her eyes fill themselves with tears. Leticia, who is hiding behind Giovanni, shows herself.

“L-L-Leticia!” Ana runs towards her, Leticia embarrassed waves; “H-H-Hello…I’m back…”

Ana interrupts her by hugging her; “Leticia, you’re alive…it’s a miracle…Thank God!” Leticia hugs her back; “I’m sorry for making you worried…”

The others approach the two of them. Sister Veronica looks at Giovanni. Giovanni chuckles; “You’re not seeing a ghost, Bambina…it’s really me…”

(PUUUMMM)

Sister Veronica kicks his leg. “OUCH, WHAT WAS THAT FOR?” Giovanni exclaims, Sister Veronica with tears in her eyes looks away; “That was for making me worried…I thought you died…you idiot…”

“Hahaha…I thought I died for a second…”

“I don’t understand, you both were absorbed by the cursed mirror, right?” Kasumi asked, intrigued. “It was Uriel…he was the one who pulled us out from the mirror…” Leticia replies, feeling relief.

“Uriel?”

“That’s right…that giovanotto was incredible…he faced off against the Two Gods and had the upper hand there…”

“Then the earthquakes was because of their battle…” Antoine wonders. Alejandro comes out of the bushes; “Haha…I knew Uriel could do it…but where is he?”

Alejandro looks around. Leticia and Giovanni lower their heads; “We don’t know, he open a portal for us to escape…minutes later…the volcano erupted…”

“You don’t mean he’s…” Alejandro looks nervous. Everyone lowers their heads feeling sorrow. -TCH- “NO…IT CAN’T BE!” Alejandro gets closer to the lava river. He looks everywhere, Doctor Ortiz gets closer; “I’m sorry Alejandro, but someone as powerful as him could not survive an eruption…”

“You’re wrong…my friend is strong!” Alejandro falls into his knees and screams:

“UUURRIIIEELLL!!!”

“What do you want?” Everyone hears a voice coming from behind/ They turn around and see Uriel sitting in a branch of tree; “Man, you’re so loud!” Uriel jumps to the ground.

“UUURRRIIEEELLL” Alejandro screams as he runs towards him. “Haha…I knew he wouldn’t die…” Giovanni and the others look at him with happiness.

“URIEL!” Kasumi moves Alejandro aside and hugs him with tears in her eyes; “I thought you died” Uriel hugs her back; “I’m sorry…I made you worried again…” Kasumi cries, hugging her tighter.

“It appears our mission is complete…” Antoine looks at his team who nod in agreement. “Ours is over as well… Giovanni pats Sister Veronica’s head. -PUM- She hits his face; “Don’t do that, it’s embarrassing…”

“Uriel, how did you escape from the eruption?” Alejandro asks, confused.

“Let’s just say I received help from a bird.” A crow flies in the sky with smoke. “AWESOME! YOU ROCK!” Stefan shouts with excitement.

“Now then, where are Xochitl and Adihe?” Uriel asks Kasumi. Everyone lowers their heads, Alejandro points at the horse; “They are over there…” Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Escobar are watching over there crying.

“Uriel it appears we are too late. They died a short while ago” Dr. Escobar holds both of them.

“How can this be? I healed their wounds…” Uriel looks at the siblings with shock.

“I have a hypothesis that the creation of the Golden Key observed not only their blood but their mana as well…they died the moment we left the volcano…we tried everything but…”

Kasumi looks away. Uriel gets closer and sees Xochitl and Ahide, lying together holding their hands.

(BADUMP BADUMP BADUMP)

Uriel opens them surprised; “They are not dead yet, I can hear the rhythm of their souls and they are still inside their bodies.”

“Really?” Dr. Escobar asks with enthusiasm. Uriel nods in agreement, everyone feel releif upon hearing those words.

Uriel’s eyes change to yellow; “Marina here are your children as promised.”

A bright light shines from Uriel’s body. Everyone looks surprised; “What is happening?”

Marina appears in front of her children; “Mis niños, it’s been so long…I’m sorry for leaving you alone…but I am here now...”

Marina makes her hands shine bright. Uriel looks at her; “Marina…don’t tell me you…are going to save them?”

Marina begins to heal both of them until they regain consciousness. Xochitl hugs Marina crying; “MAMA I MISS YOU SO MUCH”

Adihe also hugs his mother; “I’m sorry mother; I could not protect you or Xochitl”

“It’s alright, the only thing that matters is that you are here with me.” Marina smiles with tears. Adihe and Xochitl hug their mother tight. The others cry upon seeing a beautiful scenary.

“She waited 500 years to see her children…it must’ve been painful…” Kasumi comments as she stands next to Uriel.

At that moment, Marina begins to disappear as her hands become transparent. “MAMA, WHAT’S HAPPENING?” The children try to grab her desperately. “What happening Uriel?” Alejandro asks upon seeing the ghost disappearing.

Uriel sighs with his eyes closed; “She used the last portion of her mana to save her children…she gave her mana to them in order for them to live…”

“No…that isn’t right…is there anything we can do to save her?” Alejandro tries to walk forward, Uriel stops him shaking his head; “Mana transmission doesn’t work on spirits…let her have one last moment with her children…”

“Hijos, it’s time for me to go…now that I’ve seen you…my soul can rest in peace… I have one last request.”

She hugs them one last time and continues to speak: “Adihe and Xochitl please keep protecting yourselves. I will always watch over you, please you must live on and learn from this present. I can see there are still good people in this world.”

Dr. Escobar walks towards her; “I will watch over them in your place. I swear on my life that I will protect them.”

Marina smiles at her; “I can see you are pure in heart and experienced the same pain I felt. Please look after them.”

Marina slowly disappears, she looks at Uriel one last time; “ Uriel please… you must stop the keys from gathering or else it will be the end of this world.”

Marina begins to elevate to the sky disappearing; “Mis hijos…please take care…remember that I will always love you!”

“MAAAAAMMMAAAAA” Xochitl and Ahide cry for her as she fades away smiling in the sun.

Dr. Escobar hugs both of them; “I will protect you with my life, please smile for her, she smiled at the very end.” Dr. Ortiz puts his hand on the children; “I will protect you too as well, I swear on my life.”

From the bushes, a snake and a black cat go to where the kids are. The snake approaches Adihe:

“I’m really sorry…our wrath put you two in danger…please let us stay with you and protect you…”

“Quetzi…” Adihe grabs the snake with tears in his eyes. The black cat gets close to Xochitl:

“You are the last descendent of the Mexicas…it is our duty as the Guardian Gods to stay by your side…”

“Tezqui…” Xochitl hugs the cat. The four of them stay together.

Uriel walks to them, Uriel touches their hands and closes his eyes.
