《Judah Judas Adventures》Chapter 39 - Dragons

Later on this day, Emily and I arrive in the village our General has told us to go to clean this mess has happened. From what our General told us, he said the village was attacked by some dragons and comodo dragons which is going to be a difficult task. Thank God he also sends the other three knights to protect our front while we stay in the back to aim the monsters or to heal the people from that village who are running away from those monsters.
The three knights who were helping us are in full armour and all three of them are carrying swords, shields, and daggers at their belts for any inconvenience. Emily and I took our magic weapons, I took the staff she gave me a few days ago with my spell book and she took her wand with her giant spell book who is levitating on her left side. I gotta learn that spell one day.
When we entered the village we have observed that the entire place is quiet and wilderness, not a single foot of a monster or human here, it feels like this place is a ghost town. We were very careful when we were walking into this village because the danger could appear at any second. The knights were very cautious and with their weapons ready while they were walking in front of us. Emily and I were looking around with our magical weapons ready to blast that dragon or comodo dragon.
After a few minutes of walking, all five of us heard a roar which is coming from the sky. Emily and I looked at the sky and we have seen three dragons who are coming to us. I could describe what kind of pieces they are, but, their skin is not red like in the fairy tales I have heard when I was in the Orphanage, their skin is black and with spikes. Emily aimed with her wand one of those dragons, she yelled "Oblivion". I know this spell can fly the creature and humans for a few meters, but the spell Emily used, has made that dragon right from our world, in the black skies where intelligent people called it space, and noble called it heaven.
When that dragon was flying, the other two were about to land in the village but Fiona and I used at the same time different spell on other dragons. Fiona used a spell named "Gone Forever" on one single dragon, and I used Fireball. The spell Emily used has made one of those black dragons with spikes disappear without a trace. And my spell did nothing because I did consider the thing that their skin is literally made of spikes and they are dragons that can use fire-breathing.

The other dragon was about to attack us, but those three knights jumped right on them and started to attack it with their weapons. The dragon hit a few soldiers, and I used my healing spell to help those knights fight longer, and I used the spell Fireball again to that dragon, just to try and put him down, but that did not work. I could use the spell "T.N.T" but I could risk hurting those three innocent knights who are risking their lives to kill that dragon. But, then something worse has appeared in our zone, six comodo dragons.
Emily and I have decided to fight the dragons by using our spells. I used "T.N.T." and Emily used another spell called "Bomb". Our spells have made those comodo dragons explode in multiple pieces, fly them a few meters away from our zone, and even burned them, even though their skin is pretty solid. When we have finished with those comodo dragons, the other eight have appeared from some abandoned houses. We were about to fight them, but, we have heard one of our knights screaming and get flown away, really far from us. We have seen the rest of our knights, fighting until they die to destroy that dragon, we were shocked to see them fighting like that and how injured are some of them, one of those guys has lost a leg, and the other was so injured on his chest that he could die at any sudden movements. The comodo dragons are starting to get closer to us, and I decide to the spell I never thought I had to use, but that's the only solution because the spell does not require mana, just the wish to make justice and those creatures have done something terrible in this village.
I aimed the staff to my body, and I say the spell "So No Chi Sadame". When the spell has hit I fall. I heard Emily screaming at me to be sure I am not dead but after that, I could not see or hear everything because I fainted. I don't know how long this state of unconsciousness lasted or what I felt, but one thing is for sure, when I woke up, I noticed dozens of comfortable dragon corpses lined up on the ground and five other dragon corpses, but this time, those dragons even had completely red skin colour. I am trying to get up, which is pretty hard because I am not injured or feel some pain in trying to get up. I take a look around and I see two bodies of those knights laying down, being severely wounded which means they are completely dead. I tried to walk to them, but right when I was about to arrive at them, Emily came to me and started to hug me like I was about to die a few minutes or hours ago.

"Thank Goodness you are alive!" says Emily feeling relieved I was not dead.
"Yeah..." I say to Emily started to hug her back. "You are alive as well."
After that hug, Emily asked me what was happening and how I could transform into a vampire. I told her about the spell from the spell book I bought a few days ago and she replied to them feeling quite uncertain.
"I have never heard about that spell in a beginner book. That spell can only be practised for a wizard who has a big rank. How can a wizard-like you can use that spell?"
"I can use it, but I cannot control it," I say to Emily who makes her relieved.
"I see. You can use it but you cannot control it. Anyway, you have done a good job."
"Yeah..." I say to Emily feeling sad I could not protect those three allay knights. "But what exactly has happened?"
"You have attacked every comodo dragon, you have sucked their entire blood to gain much more strength, you have protected me from one of those comodo dragons and you even stopped a few dragons with bare hands. Quite impressive for a vampire to do that in eight minutes."
"I understand... So you can control that spell ?"
"I cannot but, I know one who can help you, but first, let's clean those codes and carry our allies into our cart. "
Emily took the job to clean the comodo and dragons by using a spell named "Ashes" which completely turn those comodo and normal dragons into ashes. And I took the job to carry those two bodies of knights to our carts. Foremost, I had to take the armours they were wearing because carrying a knight with armour is a tough job. After that, I examined their heartbeat by checking their neck veins and hand veins. Like I was expecting earlier, they are completely dead, not even a single spell of healing can help them because their souls have gone to another world, called Heaven. I aimed the staff to me and I saw the spell called "Strengthen Up" which instantly made me look like a bigger foe than Big Gus. Transport those two men bodies to the cart and I put those two into a position how are people in the coffin put. After that, Fiona and I get on the cart and we go back to the camp to report what was happening in this mission to our General, which will probably not going to be very happy because he has lost two good men on the battlefield.
While we were travelling there, Emily asked me about the spell book I have. I told her everything about it, and she asked me if I could lend it to her. I take the spell book from my belt and I have given it to her to read a few speels from there while she was controlling the horses who are riding the cart. After a few minutes, Emily gave my book back and she tells.
"I have never encountered a spell book that had such complicated spells for a beginner wizard. This book must be illegal or something... Where did you say you get it? From a magic store in our kingdom?"
"Yes." I responded to her.
"After this war, you will show me that place?"
"Absolutely. But why?"
"Just to be sure."

Old Riding Author Lunatic Asylum
Just off the A19, in the dark, incomprehensible lands known as Yorkshire, there lies a town. A town where shadow-silent alleys glint with the secret hunger of knives. Where blood soaks the chipboard window shutters of forsaken terraces stretching off into the night. Where the smog-choked air rattles with the depraved laughter echoing out from clubs that can only generously be described as post-apocalyptic. Well, that’s Middlesbrough. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.

8 117A Wish
This is a story where there are no heroes and no villains. This is a tale about revenge, despair, and hope. This is a story where the truth is constantly hidden deep beneath the surface, and nothing is ever as it initially appears. The world is a stage. Every character has their part to play before their exit. They are actors, dancing on a stage set for them while searching for the truth behind the façade. Only time will tell whether they will be able to escape their predestined fate, to search for their happy end, or whether the promised end is nothing more than, a wish. Author's Note: Update will be very unpredictable as I travel quite a bit for my work.
