As much as they're pretty dysfunctional, they're all still family at the end of the day. And what they value the most is loyalty. They'll be the most overbearing and imposing family you've ever encountered. Let's start off with the head of the Black family, Phineas Nigellus Black. From a young age, he and his siblings were raised to believe that pure blood heritage was more... enhanced and purer than being a muggle born and hence, developed a strong dislike towards muggle borns. The members of the Black family carried on this ideology for generations after generations, not really seeing anything wrong with what they were doing or their mindset for that matter. Anytime someone from the Black family dared to ever step out of bounds and develop bonds and ties with muggle borns, they'd get disowned effective immediately, just like Lola Black, the sister of Phineas and Elladora

Let's start off with Cygnus Black and Druella Black. They had three daughters who are famously known as

Andromeda, Bellatrix and Narcissa. From an early age they too were exposed to this whole pure bloods are the best and worthy of everything nonsense and Bellatrix took this meaning to a whole other level. Their cousin is nome other than Sirius Black and Regulus Black, who are the sons of Orion Black and Walburga Black. Bellatrix never really liked Sirius that much and Sirius detested her from the bottom of his heart. There was always some unspoken mutual hatred between them. Orion and Walburga tried to impose their strict policies and rules on Sirius and Regulus as well but Sirius didn't give a damn what they thought. He liked doing this own thing

When you're introduced to the family, it's going to be chaotic as ever. You'll either be a friend of Sirius or Regulus or even Andromeda for that matter. You'll be invited to spend a summer with them by Regulus because Sirius isn't really that proud of his dysfunctional family values. Walburga will immediately get attached to you because of your polite and kind nature, chiding Sirius that he should be more like you. Orion keeps a close eye on you for a few days, he's interested to know more about you. One word is all it takes for the rest of the Black family members to know you're spending your time with Walburga and Orion's kids. Druella and Cygnus along with Andromeda, Narcissa and Bellatrix will immediately rush to see you, it's been a while since they've had any visitors and after all, you were from their school, it would be rude of them to not greet you properly

Druella can sense there's something special about you for some reason and also judging by the way Walburga was acting during dinner. She kept making you trying to eat more. Orion and Cygnus will talk to you about how things are at Hogwarts for you. You're friendly with everyone and talk with everyone but deep down you're also a bit nervous. They're one of the Sacred 28 families who value pure blood relations and are quite orthodox in family values. Andromeda asks you where your parents were and when you tell them they're busy holidaying in France, Druella can't help but scoff. Parents should spend time with their children especially after they come home for the summer. She didn't even meet your parents and she detested them already

Walburga immediately assumed the role of your caretaker and decided to spoil you to make you forget about your ACTUAL mother as long as you were in their house. However at some point, the question will pop up whether or not you're a pure blood. If you are one, that's great. They'll be even more suffocating than usual and Bellatrix will demand to know who all you're friends with so they don't have a bad influence on you. You're MEANT to be with them whether you like it or not. If you're a half blood they'll still be pretty accepting and if you're a muggle born, for once, they're actually willing to look the other way which is quite the surprise because as time passed by, they loved spending time with you

You helped Druella and Walburga with some stuff and you were even nice to Kreacher. Bellatrix hated it when you spent time with Sirius and tried to steal you away from him which would often result in a battle of words between them till Narcissa or Regulus steal you away for themselves. You like stargazing with Regulus, he's really calming to be around. Andromeda will show you some of her talents and even her artwork. She's been trying to do art lately and she'll impress you with her abilities. God forbid if you ever make the mistake of mentioning someone else, like a friend or something to them. They won't like it at all, they'll think that lousy pest was trying to steal you away from them and they'll be INFURIATED to the core if they find out you're sending letters to that so called friend of yours

Cygnus and Orion have some very traditional values and mindsets. They've already accepted you as a part of their family, they can't allow someone else to lure you away. You were such a precious gem to them, they'll find a way to intercept your messages and they'll make sure your messages never reach your friend. Then they'll use their connections and influence and make sure they won't have a reason for contacting you ever again. You're a part of the Black family, you shouldn't be rubbing elbows with some run of the mill random riff raffs and people you barely even know anything about

Druella and Walburga see you as something innocent, an innocent trusting naive thing. Maybe a bit silly as well at times but it doesn't matter to them, you're a part of them now. They'll sit you down and explain how some witches and wizards aren't meant to be trusted and you needn't worry, they're here for you and they'll take care of everything for you. You just assumed that they'd take care of your needs during your stay with them and you thanked them but you didn't know you were much more than a temporary house guest. You'd stay with them for longer than intended

Regulus and Sirius will start picking on the jerk who dared to steal your attention from them and the only time Sirius and Bellatrix will ever come to an agreement which is for the very first and probably the last time, will be to eradicate all sorts of threats in the way of you staying with them. Which also includes using the unforgivable curses on people who dare to look at you the wrong way much less even THINK of asking you out. Narcissa is more of a stealthy yandere and a calculating one at that. She'll observe whatever you're doing and straight away inform Druella and Cygnus about whatever you're doing. That's the same case with Regulus and Walburga as well, when you're in their house it's like privacy has gone out the window. You're never really alone anymore, there's always someone or the other you'll be spending time with

As much as they're a part of the Sacred 28, they won't like it if some other family tries stealing you away from them. You've really grown on them, even on Bellatrix which is saying something. If you're into music and you like singing, they'll all listen to you sing and they'll be speechless by the time you're done singing. You sound like an angel and who knows, maybe one day with them pulling a few strings here and there, you can even sing with Celestina Warbeck herself and become a singing sensation if you wish. Just make sure not to become too famous so you won't leave them. If you're into art, Walburga will decorate the whole place with your paintings and drawings and encourage you to pursue your art more. Orion doesn't want you to sell your artwork because he doesn't want random folk who don't deserve to see you art buying it. Sirius, Regulus, Andromeda and Narcissa will have some of your paintings as well and Bellatrix will have some too, however hidden deep inside some box because she's just embarrassed to admit it

And if you're into writing stories and books they'll be really interested to read whatever you write. However you might have to tone down a bit and take your romance down a notch if you're writing the romance genre, they don't want you falling in love and getting all sorts of ideas. Even if you get a book recommendation from someone, you'll have to run it by Narcissa and she'll inform Druella you're interested in some romance book. You'll be forced to spend time with them to forget about that romance book of yours. They aren't really keen on you writing dark gruesome murderous stories either, especially ones filled with too much violence. They don't want their innocent new family member suffering from nightmares. And if it's a gruesome story you're reading say bye bye to it because Cygnus will set the book on fire and immediately send a howler to the publishers hollering at them he'd make sure he'll ruin their business if they don't cease publishing that book immediately

As the days pass by, they all grow rather nervous about one thing. You leaving them. Soon you'll find a sudden shift in their behavior like restricting you from using your owl to send messages to people and one day your owl suddenly flies off somewhere according to them, never to return again, your wand missing which was of course, Sirius's doing and Regulus, Cygnus and Orion came up with stories to make about your disappearance. Druella and Walburga don't like it when you mention your parents so they might 'accidentally' Obliviate you into thinking you're one of them and a part of the family. As for your actual family, they'll be taken care of. In Azkaban as Cygnus and Orion once again, pull a few strings here and there and have them arrested by spinning some false cases against them. That way you'll always be wiht them and you won't ever leave them.... once you come into their house, there's no going back outside. You were now a part of their family for good
