Consider asking the fae for assistance,

For the fae know all about this place,

They have been witnesses to many things,

Both grand and insignificant,

They saw as you were forced to text,

A happy response, adding a smiley,

While your countenance frowned,

They watched as your puppy waited,

While you were on a trip,

Rarely leaving the door,

Yearning for your smiling faces,

The fae know this and many more,

Old stories, of gods and demons,

That I’d rather not share,

But they were even there,

When Cronus broke his teeth on a pear,

The spirits are everywhere and they watch all,

So if you’re ever lost in the woods,

Give them an offering,

If not that, a promise,

And they will be duty bound.

But be careful of the things you say,

And the emotion you speak with,

Don’t make promises,

If you don’t intent to keep it,

For the fae can be just as fearful,

As petty, as willful,

As any catastrophe.
