"Linda, it's about time I promoted you. How would you like to join the executive rank?"
"Oh, I don't know what to say." She smiled. "Of course, I would love to."
"You've done very well for us, Linda, but … but …"
"Mr. Chambers?"
"No, stop that! No, I won't! She's one of our best!"
"Mr. Chambers, what's wrong? Why are you talking to yourself?"
"Linda, you're fired."
"What?" She gasped and stood up.
"I can't resist it, Linda. After that new Stakeholder Capitalism law, every executive must ingest an Ethics Chip. I've lost control. The voice, it won't stop … I'm sorry Linda, you're terminated. Good luck."

It will barely feature a single prominent character, and the focus will mostly just be on the main character trying to grow himself out of danger, in the meantime denying the very idea that he could possibly be lonely. The first few dozen chapters will entirely focus on him growing from almost a gnat all the way to a real asteroid-eater. After that, an actual story will appear. Got the idea when I was reading the 2017 Darth Vader comic and my mind suddenly flashed back to that scene in the original trilogy when they're in some asteroid field and almost get eaten by a big monster. I loved that scene, and my inhibitions will no longer chain me. Enjoy, but don't take this too seriously.
