နောက်ကျ နေပြီဖြစ်လို့ လူတိုင်း ကောင်းကောင်းအနားယူကျသည်။ တန်ယု ပွဲကြည့်စင်ထဲ စောင့်ဆိုင်းနေသည့်အစေခံနှစ်ယောက် ရှိပြီး ဆောင်းယုနဲ့ ကုန်းကုန်းကောင်းဖု အပါအဝင်လေးယောက်စောင့်ဆိုင်းနေကာ လင်းဖေးလုကို စောင့်ရှောက်ဖို့လုံလောက်တာထက်ပိုနေပြီဖြစ်သည်။
လူတိုင်း မင်းသမီး ၅ ဧကရာဇ် ရထားလုံးနဲ့ ခရီးသွားတာ သိထားကြသည်။ မင်းသမီး ၅ နေသည့် တန်ယု ပွဲကြည့်စင်နား အစောင့်များစွာ ရှိတာကြောင့် လူတိုင်း မင်းသမီး ၅ ဆိုးတဲ့ကံကလွတ်မြောက်ပြီး အခုဧကရာဇ် ချစ်မြတ်နိုးတာခံရပြီလို့ တိတ်တဆိတ် ဆွေးနွေးကြတယ်။
ညစာစားပြီးနောက် လင်းဖေးလု အရမ်း ငြိမ်းချမ်းတာ ခံစားမိပြီး အစောင့်များကိုမြင်လိုက်တယ်။
အခု လုပ်ကြံသူ အခွင့်အရေးလွတ်သွားပြီဖြစ်ပြီး ဧကရာဇ် ကလည်း ဒီကိစ္စကိုစုံစမ်းနေဆဲဖြစ်သည်။ အစောင့်များလည်းရှိနေပြီး ဘယ်သူမှနောက်ကွယ်က တိုက်ခိုက်ဖို့အလျင်စလိုပြုမူရဲမည်မဟုတ်။ သူမ မစိုးရိမ်ပေမဲ့ ဆောင်းယု အရမ်းစိုးရိမ်နေကာ တီးတိုး "မင်းသမီး ။ ဒီအစေခံ ဒီည မင်းသမီးနဲ့အတူအိပ်မယ်"
လင်းဖေးလု ပြုံးပြီး "သူတို့မအဘူး။ တကယ်လာရင် သေချာပေါက် အရူးလုပ်ခံမှာမဟုတ်ဘူး။ မစိုးရိမ်နဲ့ အစောင့်အများကြီးရှိနေတာ မလာရဲဘူး"
ဆောင်းယု စိုးရိမ်နေတာဖိနှိပ်ပြီး "ဒီအစေခံ စိုးရိမ်နေသေးတယ်။ ကျက်သရေရှိ အမျိုးသမီးလန်က ဒီကိုမလာခင် ဒီအစေခံကို မင်းသမီးကိုစောင့်ရှောက်ပေးဖို့အမိန့်ပေးထားတယ်။ ဒါပေမဲ့ ဒီလိုဖြစ်မယ်လို့ ဘယ်သူသိမှာလဲ"
ဆောင်းယု မျက်ရည်များကျဆင်းလာ၏။
လင်းဖေးလု သူ့လက်လေးကိုင်ကာ " မင်းက လုလေးအပေါ် အရမ်းကောင်းတယ်။မင်းသာမရှိရင် လုလေး မနေ့ညတည်းက သေနေပြီ"
ဆောင်းယု ငိုယိုတယ်. "မင်းသမီး အဲလို ကံမကောင်းတဲ့စကားမပြောသင့်ဘူး.!! မင်းသမီးချမ်းသာပြီး ငြိမ်းငြိမ်းချမ်းချမ်းကြီးပြင်းလာမှာ!"
သူတို့ စကားတပြောပြောနဲ့လမ်းလျှောက်လာပြီးခြံဝန်းထဲဝင်လာတော့ အပြင်ဘက် က ခပ်တင်းတင်းအသံကြားရတယ်။
"ဘယ်သူ နံရံပေါ်တက်ရဲတာလဲ!! သူ့ကိုခေါ် ခဲ့!!"

မမျှော်လင့်စွာ အချိန်တိုတိုအတွင်း ထိတ်လန့်သွားပြီး သူတို့ ရှီရှင်းဂျန်ရဲ့ ကိုးရိုးကားယားအသံ ကြားရတယ်။

လင်းဖေးလု သိချင်စိတ်နဲ့ ထွက်လာတယ်။
ရှီရှင်းဂျန် အိပ်ရာလိပ်ကိုင်ထားပြီး ကိုးရိုးကားယား နှာခေါင်းကုတ်နေ၏။
သူမ ရင်ခုန်သွားပေမဲ့ တချိန်ထဲ ရီချင်လာတယ်။ အသံခပ်ဆိုးဆိုးနဲ့ ခေါ် လိုက်တယ်။
"ရှီရှင်းဂျန်!! ဘာလာလုပ်တာလဲ?"
နားလည်မှုလွဲတာမြင်တော့ တားမြစ်စစ်သည်များလည်း သူတို့အရင်နေရာသို့ ပြန်ထွက်သွားသည်။ ရှီရှင်းဂျန် မေးမော့ထားပြီး လျှောက်လာကာ ရှက်ကိုးရှက်ကန်းဖြစ်နေတာ ဖုံးကွယ်ထားသည်။
"ငါ..ငါ မနေ့ညက လုပ်ကြံသူထပ်ရောက်လာမှာစိုးရိမ်လို့ ဒါကြောင့် ကင်းလှည့်ဖို့ ဆုံးဖြတ်လိုက်တာ!!"
"ကင်းလှည့်ဖို့ဆို ဘာကြောင့် အိပ်ရာလိပ်ပါယူလာတာလဲ? တကယ်လို့လုပ်ကြံသူနဲ့တွေ့ရင် စောင်နဲ့သတ်မလို့လား? "

ဝန်းတံခါးနားသို့ ဝင်ဖို့ လက်မြှောက်လိုက်သည်။ နန်းတွင်းအစေခံများ နှုတ်ဆက်ပြီးအရိုအသေပေးကြသည်။ ရှီရှင်းဂျန် လက်ခါယမ်းကာ လင်းဖေလု ရဲ့အခန်းထဲ ဝင်သွား၏။ အိပ်ရာခင်းကို လင်းဖေးလုရဲ့အိပ်ရာနံဘေး ၌ ပစ်ထုတ်လိုက်သည်။
"?"
ဆောင်းယုအလျင်စလို အိပ်ရာပေါ် လှဲလျောင်းနေသည့် ရှီရှင်းဂျန်ကို မေးလိုက်တယ်။ "မြို့စားငယ် ဘာလုပ်ဖို့ပါလဲ?"
ရှီရှင်းဂျန် ခေါင်းမော့ မကြည့်ပဲ "မမြင်ဘူးလား? ဒီမှာ အိပ်မလို့လေ"
ဆောင်းယု ထိတ်လန့်သွားပြီး "မြို့စားငယ်ဒီမှာအိပ်ဖို့လုပ်နေတာ ဒီအစေခံသိတယ် ဒါပေမဲ့ ဘာလို့လဲ? မြို့စားငယ်က ဒီညဒီမှာ ကုန်ဆုံးမလို့လား?"
