But Jackie felt a stare, turning back towards Stark—who was ways away from the group. Proud.
Jackie wasn’t having that. She gestured, telling her to come over. Which shocked the girl, but complied.
The young women, who didn’t have any place in this crazy world, hugged together. Before walking into the light as if they were friends for multiple lifetimes. In a sense, they were.
Leaning against each other, arms draped over the shoulders, as they continued forward. Becoming blurs within the holy, heavenly light.
