The next morning, Ramirez leaves his house, equipped with great and comfortable clothes to drive a truck at his workplace into this time of the year because the cold has started to appear, and some trucks did not present hot air which is Ramirez ones who drive out yesterday to deliver those oranges and other things.
While he was driving to his workplace, on the left side of the streets he sees a woman who is doing hitch-hiking. Ramirez has decided to do this thing, but because he wanted to help a woman, but because a smart thing was happening to him when he got so drunk that he ended up in a forest butt naked and he had to walk twelve miles to his hometown because nobody would want to drive a "young and naked drunk teenager, also a guy with cannabis addiction since age fifteen". Ramirez stops his jeep and he opens the right side of his car to let the young woman enter it. The woman comes into Ramirez's car, he thanks him, she puts on the belt because safety matters and Ramirez drives the jeep into the destination that the mysterious woman wanted.
"Where you want to go?"
"To the General Countryside Hospital." says the woman.
"What happened? Why do you want to go there?" asks Ramirez after he takes a left turn.
"My aunt got into a car accident a few days ago and I want to go there to see how she is doing... I am not from this part of the island and also, the taxi has left me in the forest."
"How cruel." says Ramirez.
"So... Are you living here?"
"Yes. I know all the parts of this countryside and also I want on my way to work."

"I'm sorry."
"Don't be. It sometimes happens to get thrown in the forest for no damn reason."
And after a few minutes of driving, while these two were listening to the podcast of a man who was talking about some UFOs conspiracy theories, the mysterious woman, suddenly revealed something.
"The guy wanted to rape me."
"Huh?" asks Ramirez who has no idea what the woman was talking about and then he remembers the drivers. "You mean the taxi driver?"
"Aha."
"What a bastard."
"He is. He tried to look at my breasts all road to this countryside."
"... Do not worry. I am not a pervert or a lunatic who would rape any kind of woman."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome."
A few minutes later of driving, these two arrived at their destination, and when the woman has left the jeep, he thanks Ramirez, she gave him twenty bucks and she runs into the Hospital to his auntie. And after the mysterious woman has left, Ramirez has stepped on the gas and drives to his workplace because he is late and could get a punishment on his second day of work.

In the hospital, the mysterious woman goes to the reception which there is one man who is looking at his computer.
"Good morning! How can I help you?" asks the man at the reception.
"Hello! I want to know where Augusta Martha is located if you can help me?"
"Are you a relative?"
"Yes. She is my aunt." says the mysterious woman.
"Alright..." says the man while typing the name of the woman on the computer. "Found it. Located in Room 12, Second Floor."
"Thank you." responds the mysterious lady going to the stairs which will lead her to the final floor, the second floor.
The woman is taking the stairs to reach the second floor because this Hospital does not present an Ascensor or anything like this to visitors, the Ascensor could only be used by people with emergencies or medical staff. While she is climbing those stairs she is trying to think positively that his aunt is still and she will be alive.

Contention
August Marlow had always been an echo of those around him, finding safety in the diffusion of his presence amongst the larger group. His whole life had been a slow declination of self, trading away parts of himself to retain his sense of belonging. He'd never stepped forward to make his wants heard or to put a voice to his anger because to offer up something like that would be exposing weakness or highlighting vulnerability. With a strange system projected into his mind, an Island called Devil's Nest and without a group to lose himself within—For the first time in his life, August is forced to step into the role of the decision-maker, and the stakes couldn't be higher.
8 209A Virtual Invasion

Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
8 126Kingdom of Ice
"170 years ago, in a world where humans have evolved such that they could live on the ocean floor, and form cities there, Commandant Franklin led a hunting party on a reconaissance expedition north, traveling from the outer edge of the Indian Ocean, all the way to the High Arctic. His goal: to find the fabled Northwest Passages for the Vicegerent of Tridention, and establish business with underwater arctic cities there. But the expedition went awry, and they never returned. Everyone in the party was presumed dead. Until now. When two of the hunters from that same expedition find their way back to Tridention after all these years, Watson, a retired commandant for one of Tridention's thirty-five hunting parties, agrees to help those hunters form a ragtag party of their own, against their leadership's wishes, and travel all the way back to the same Northwest Passages to recover the rest of the hunting expedition. The hope is that their commandant, and other hunters, are somehow still alive and can be brought back home safely. "

8 153The End
There are five days left. The End is a miracle 10,000 years in the making that will free all from the confines of the world. The gods will soon be born. There is nothing that can be done about this. Not a webnovel, but a screenplay, submitted as my dissertation for my screenwriting degree. Sort of experimental. I have learned that I dislike writing screenplays, but all the same, I thought I'd post it anyway so it's at least worth something that way.
