《Red Is For Love (Io Shirai X Male OC)》Two Segments

~With Kai~

First off, the segment between Kaori and Shayna was going to be a split screen interview between the two, making sure that nothing gets out of hand. Kaori was in one room while Shayna was in another and I thought this was so smart. Seeing my sister fired up about the street fight in Phoenix is what makes me love her even more.

Now, with my segment, it's going to be me pulling a promo until Johnny comes out to talk trash and whatnot until Trevor enters and tries to rile Gargano up.

It sounded stupid on paper, but I just know that this will do really well.

When Masami, Kaori, and I arrived at Full Sail, my sister had to be in regular clothes and I think that's good for her, but for me, I'm gonna be wearing a black and white track suit with my gear underneath, which looks like this...

...in case an impromptu rematch happens between Gargano and I.

My segment was going to be in the middle of the show while Kaori's was going to be first after a match.

Ladies and gentlemen, we now turn your attention to the screen as we are about to have a sit down interview between the Pirate Princess Kairi Sane and the NXT Women's Champion, Shayna Baszler and first off—

First off, Mauro, I was forced to be in this. I didn't have a choice so get to the questions, if you haven't already.

Okay, so Shayna, what are your thoughts on losing the first ever women's—

That was never a thing, it wasn't in the history books, and it never happened, okay? I survived that, not Kairi and her little sidekicks may have been lucky, but in a fight there's no such thing as luck. I've been the longest NXT Women's Champion since Asuka left for Raw and Smackdown and this brand was needed for someone who's a badass, not a girl who thinks she's a pirate.

Shayna.

I don't know who the hell you think I am because I'm the queen of Spades.

Shayna.

You don't want to mess with me. I'm a former MMA Women's Champion and I've done so much that I believe NXT needs someone to fill the shoes of that role of being champion. Kairi is just a reminder of the yesteryears of wrestling.

Shayna.

If you can excuse me, I'm gonna go home and get ready to fight next week because this was—

SHAYNA!

The crowd erupted as she scared Shayna out of her mind, which got her to sit back down as Kairi was glaring into the camera.

You talk too much!

Shayna was smirking with such cockiness that she thinks that this is going.

You stole that from me. You think you're all high and mighty when you degrade the women's division. I do dress like a pirate, but this pirate is going to stab you in the heart and take her treasure back! Look into my eyes, Shayna! LOOK AT THEM! Do you see any fear in these eyes? These eyes are what a champion is supposed to be, not a cheap-ass, MMA choreographed, Brock Lesnar knockoff!

I thought that was a huge punch as the crowd cheered and oh'd at that line. I think she took inspiration by how I cut my promos and I'll give her credit for it.

You claim to be the most badass in all of NXT, but here's a small problem, you've been replaced by my brother!

Kaori smirked as Shayna furrowed her eyebrows at the camera and looked annoyed at what my sister had been saying. I thought me replacing her was hard and very well thought out.

It's only two months until I get my hands on you, Baszler. I'm willing to put my entire career, if not, body on the line to take back what's mine, the NXT Women's Championship! I hope you're ready for the hell I'm going to unleash at Takeover: Phoenix because when we're inside that ring, we won't be using our words, we'll be using these.

Kaori showed her hands forming into fists and I really liked where this was going, but of course, Shayna had to make it personal.

I like the fighting words, Kairi. I really do, I thought that was really convincing, but not as convincing as you claiming to be a role model for little girls.

Kairi was stunned, but she didn't say anything else. Instead, she took her mic off her shirt and walked off, but I wondered where she was going to.

Yeah, that's what I thought. She's no role model. She's a gravure star. She can go back to Japan and be on the covers of Japanese playboy or whatever the hell it's called because I'm still gonna be here kicking ass. I'm gonna—

Then, out of nowhere, Kaori tackled her to the ground as the camera changed from the screen to the backstage area where she was beating the hell out of Shayna!

Kaori then took a chair and started beating her with it but Masami and I had to stop what we were doing in the locker room, run to where Shayna's room was and try to break her away!

We found the group of officials trying to break up the fight. We ran over, pushed some out of the way, pulled Kaori off of Shayna and we looked to calm her down before it got worse.

カオリ、それは私たちです。 落ち著いて、大丈夫? (Kaori, it's us. Calm down, okay?)

あなたはあなたのチャンスを持っています、カオリ。 本當に。 (You will have your chance, Kaori. Really.)

She tried to get out of my arms but we didn't let go.

Eventually, Kaori stopped resisting and looked to get out of our grasp, but we refused to let up. The reason is simple and it always worked for me, we tightened the hold until we were sure that we calmed down enough to the point that we won't lose our shit again.

Kaori did calm down and we let her go and we walked away. Then, we heard her crying and the both of us hugged her, making sure that she's okay, you know?

彼女がそれを言及しなければならないのはなぜですか? (Why'd she have to mention that?)

彼女はただのマニピュレータ、カオリです。 彼女はちょうどマインドゲームをしたいです。 (She's just a manipulator, Kaori. She just wants to play mind games.)

We were comforting her that until the next match was done, I had to be out there for the final segment of the night. I wanted to go out there, but my first priority was Kaori, nothing else, but Masami had to say this...

あなたは上に行きます。 私は彼女と一緒にいます。 (You go on, Kai. I'll stay with her.)

確かに? (You sure?)

ええ。 行きます。 (Yeah. Go on.)

I kissed Masami's cheek, Kaori's head after a little small hug and I went out there, trying to keep myself in check.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, "The Prodigy", REN HOSAKO!

I had no intention of slapping some hands because I had business on my mind. I went up the steps and went inside the ring, looking to cut a promo, or at least try to.

When I asked for the microphone, I was given one by the announcer, shook her hand, and I looked to sell out the feud.

When I lifted the mic to my mouth, I was about to speak, but this theme played...

When he walked out, half the audience cheered and the other half booed at him, but I could care less.

To me, it's not about the allegiance of the character, it's about how you connect with the fans. If you connect with the fans whether you're an asshole heel or a super over babyface, that means you're doing a good job as a character.

You're not gonna talk Ren because I am, okay? You can try to convince these people that you're a good guy, but you're not.

He got in the ring and looked to face off at me, but I was smiling. Not with enthusiasm, but the fact that Johnny can be this stupid in coming out here after I beat his little ass last week.

They don't cheer you because you're a great competitor. They cheer you because you want them to cheer for you! You claim to be a great wrestler when, spoiler alert, you're not! I am, so I deserve to be the number one contender!

The crowd just booed as I was going to talk again, but I got interrupted by Gargano like always.

Don't say a word. Save your English because I know about your lisp and how speaking English is not that good for you. I will say, you should relinquish your spot and give me the opportunity to challenge Ricochet for the title.

Just as Gargano mentioned Trevor...

The fans popped as they knew what was to be going down in a few minutes.

Johnny, you should allow Ren to speak. You're talking too much, so just let him talk, even if his English and lisp isn't that good.

Are you his interpreter or something?

As a matter of fact, Ren and I go way back. We main evented a couple shows in Japan and we never had one bad match, so basically, you can say that I'm an interpreter, but I'm a friend of his and you're not.

He got in the ring, and said to me...

Go on, Ren. Say what you want to say.

Arigato.

I then looked at Johnny and said...

I would give up spot...

The crowd was hoping that I would...

...but I will not do that.

They cheered as loud as they could. What else was I supposed to say? I earned my spot, right? Everyone can't blame me for wanting to keep it after a hard fought victory.

If you don't want to give it up, how about you put it on the line?

That perplexed me a little bit because I was never told this before. So, I responded with...

Do you think you deserve rematch?

The crowd was buying into it as I said...

You do not deserve rematch, gweilo!

"Gweilo" is an Asian word for white people, meaning "ghost". I say it's not racist because in Asia, it's used as a term for endearment, but for this reason for me to use it, I had to use it as an insult towards Gargano.

The fans just ate it up as I basically owned Johnny with that line, but I got another one in case he tries to have a rebuttal, but I had it scouted.

You think I don't belong in the title picture, Ren? Here's the reality—

And reality is I kick your ass last week!

The crowd cheered and laughed as I owned him with that line, even if my English wasn't that good.

Trevor even snickered at that and I knew that if I can keep dishing out these savage lines, I might become more popular than I am right now.

Looks like he told you, Johnny! Anyway, the reason I came out here is because I just had an idea. Since you're wanting a shot at this, Johnny, Ren, I hope you don't get mad by what I'm about to do.

Go ahead, sir.

Instead of making it just Hosako vs Ricochet, Johnny, you can join in, only if you beat Ren.

I was looking forward to it as I immediately unzipped my track jacket, took off my track pants, showing off my gear until the pants were fully off, and then I threw the jacket away, wanting Johnny to face off against me again.

You all want me to fight Ren one more time?

The crowd cheered as they're wanting this, but, with his signature shit-eating grin, he said...

Unfortunately, that's not how this works. I'll fight you, Ren, but on my time!

I grabbed the mic and said to Johnny, as he was leaving the ring...

Like your buddy, Ciampa, you a coward, you scared, and you should be!

The fans kept cheering as I was smiling with anticipation, wanting to fight Johnny boy two times already.

YOU'RE A COWARD! *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP* YOU'RE A COWARD! *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP*

I'm not a coward. I'm playing it smart, I have bigger balls than both of you combined.

Only time you have them is when you ask wife!

OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!

Trevor actually covered his mouth to keep himself from laughing out loud. I literally said this and this was the first time I did a dick joke.

Yes, it's not PG, looking at you R-Truth.

My theme played as Trevor and I fist bumped as Johnny was furious at what I said, and well deserved too.

Now, what I said might be a little too corny and how it doesn't fit my character, but from the fans' reactions, it's working. Not to mention that when I got backstage, Kaori and Masami were giggling about the whole ordeal.

あなたはそれを言わなければならなかった。 (You had to say that.)

ちょっと、少なくとも彼は彼に來たのかを手に入れました。 (Hey, at least he got what was coming to him.)

ええ。 耳を傾け、カイ。 私は私の上にやって來たものがわからない。 私はその雌犬からタイトルを獲得し、それを使って行わなければなりません。 (Yeah. Listen, Kai. I don't know what came over me. I just want to win the title from that bitch and be done with it.)

私は知っています。 あなたはちょうどもう少し待つ必要があります、大丈夫? 私は約束し、あなたはそれを勝ち取ります。 (I know. You just have to wait a little longer, okay? I promise, you will win it back.)

わかりました。 (Okay.)

My man!

Trevor had to come around as he put his arm over my shoulder, which I'm fine with.

Even with a bad lisp, he can spit fire!

Hai. I try.

Yeah. Look, I did like the idea of you facing off against Johnny again, you don't mind doing it again, right?

Not really, at least it give me something to do next week.

Good call. I'll talk to Hunter and ask him if he's okay with it.

Sounds good.

We bro hugged as the three of us left for the house. I really had fun with this segment, even thought it wasn't for Kaori tonight. The next day, we just hung out, ate some frozen pizza in the oven and just watched some Netflix.

I didn't mind that though because it gave Masami and I an opportunity to step up our relationship.
