《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》O-X

"Don't take that!" Hilde rushed to my side, taking the substance from my hand before addressing Grandmaster. "Grandmaster, she's Midgardian. O-X could seriously hurt her. For all we know, it will make her mind weaker for that thing to take over." She tried to tell him, shifting nervously on her feet.
"Relax, 142. I talked to Annetta, she says it's perfectly fine for her to take." He dismissed with a wave of his hand.
"Who's Annetta?" I questioned curiously.
"Your healer." Brunnhilde told me.
"And, what- what is it?" I asked hesitantly, glancing at the pink strip Hilde was hiding away in her fist. I looked between the both of them, waiting for an answer. Hilde sighed before turning to address me.
"O-X is a powerful, sensory enhancement drug." Hilde explained. I shook my head quickly and backed away from her slightly.
"I- I'm an addict. I can't-"
"No addictive properties." Grandmaster interrupted.
"For us, not Midgardians." Brunnhilde pointed out to him.
"If Annetta says it's fine, it's fine." He told her and pulled out another pink strip. "Try it!" He beamed at me. I clamped my mouth shut and shook my head.
"I thank you for your generosity, Grandmaster, but I don't think I should take that." I told him, trying not to anger him. Grandmaster pouted as his shoulders slumped.
"Well, that's no fun." He sighed before standing up. "Anyway, we have another champion fight tonight!" He exclaimed happily. "Be sure to bring her to the box, 142." He told Hilde and clapped his hands once in excitement. Even though he said it in his usual nonchalant way, we both knew it was an order.
"Of course." She nodded once in understanding and respect.

"Great! See you both later, then!" He told us and glided out of the room, the same way he glided in.
When the door finally shut, I let out a heavy breath. Hilde relaxed as well, until she remembered what she was holding in her fist. She glanced down at it before walking into the bathroom and turning on the bath faucet. She held her hand under the water, dissolving the light pink strip, and let the water wash it down the drain. When she was done, she dried off her hands and walked back over to me.
"Hungry?" Hilde asked, still holding the hand towel in her hands.
"I could eat." I shrugged a shoulder, but I wasn't looking at her. My eyes were glued to the bathroom where she dissolved the drug. It was hard to admit that I did want to take it. I wanted to know if it would actually keep the hallucinations and paranoia away. But, could what happened early this morning be considered a hallucination?
"Hey, don't think about it too much." Brunnhilde told me, nudging my side to get my attention. I shook my head at the thought and finally looked up at Hilde.
"Ya, you're right. Let's just go." I nodded and got out of bed. I swayed a bit on my feet and Hilde had to steady me. Once I was stable, I pulled away from her. "Thanks." I smiled a small smile at her.
I felt awkward. Just the fact that she caught me looking at where she disposed of the drug, made me feel so ashamed. I had been clean for so many years, I wasn't about to fuck that up now.
I walked over to the large wardrobe and opened it. All of the dresses were short and bold. A dark purple dress caught my eyes and I pulled it out to get a better look.

"You'd look hot in that." Hilde approved with a nod. "Though, you'd look hot in just about anything." She added, making a slight blush cover high on my cheeks.
"Thank you." I smiled shyly, not looking at her while I looked at the dress. I quickly went into the bathroom and put the dress on, looking at myself in the reflection of the gold mirror.
This dress wasn't short, but it showed a lot of skin. A triangular piece of fabric fell off one shoulder to barely cover my breasts. The end of the triangle had a gold string looped around it to keep it down. The other end of the string connected to the skirt, which was just one long piece of fabric wrapped around my hips, not sewed at all. My entire left hip and leg was on display, as well as my stomach. With the bruises covering my body, it was a statement piece.
I put my hair up into a ponytail before braiding it. Once that was done, I walked back into my room to get shoes.
"Damn," Hilde said when she saw me.
"Shut up." I rolled my eyes, but had a huge smile on my face as I picked out shoes. Unfortunately, they only gave me heels. I grabbed a black colored heel and leaned against the wall to slip them on.
"I was right, you look hot." She told me, her eyes looking me over. "You sure you're still in love with that prince?" She asked teasingly. I scoffed playfully.
"Yes." I said and smoothed the dress down when I stood up.
"What a shame..." she tailed off before offering me her arm. "Come on, Princess, let's go eat."
I chuckled as I slipped my hand into the crook of her arm.
"Don't call me that. I'm not a Princess." I lightly grumbled to her.
"It just fits you." She shrugged as she led me out of the room and toward the dining hall.
"I already have all of Asgard calling me that, I don't need you, too, Valkyrie." I teased back, but all she did was shrug her shoulders.
"Doesn't bother me." Hilde smirked, looking straight ahead.
"Not now it doesn't." I told her, knowing that Thor gets on her nerves by calling her that.
At the thought of Thor, I thought of Loki. I wondered where in space he was right now and when he would get here. I had been with him everyday for years. Not having him close by was a bit nerve wracking, but I was glad to have Hilde by my side. I was glad I wasn't alone here.
At first, I was nervous to meet her. I didn't know how she would react to me, but I was happy that I never let that stop me from talking to her. Hilde was intimidating to the toughest of people, but to me she was just a good friend. She took care of me and was determined to help me navigate through Sakaar. And I would be forever grateful.
