Mrs. Kensly started crying, before the doctor finished speaking, her husband held her while she cried. She was whaling in pain and she couldn't hold it in any longer. Harper put on a brave face for her mom as she supports and consoles her.

She was holding in all of her emotions, so she can make sure her mom won't worry about what is going on right now. They brought her mom back to the bench and sat her down while she get her some water to calm her down, while her dad consoled her and make sure everything will be okay.

She came back and handed her a bottle. Her mom seemed to have calmed down a bit, her dad spoke to her after she came back to check and see how she is doing.

" Is everything okay? Are you feeling good?"

" Oh yes. I'm a little shocked but I'm okay. How is mom doing?"

" Oh, your mom cried it out, she's feeling okay now. I know the news came as a shock to all of us, she might have taken the news a lot more, so she was feeling a little overwhelmed, but after consoling her and calming her down she's feeling better."

" Oh, that's great!! She seemed a bit too disoriented and I'm worried about her, but I'm glad she's okay. Can you excuse me for a second, you should go and rest too. I'm just gonna go to the restroom."

" Okay, I'll see you later. We need to go see your brother after you come back." Her dad replied

She stepped out of the room and ran to the restroom, she rushed to the nearest cubicle and closed the door, and broke down. She couldn't hold her emotions any longer. She started bawling her eyes out.

She couldn't believe Bruno had passed, she recalls the precious memories that they shared, they were something she cherished. Her heart sank when the doctor told them that he had passed. She sat down on her knees remembering the first day Bruno came home for the first time, as tears falls from her face.

Suddenly, the restroom became more packed and they could hear the cries coming from this particular cubicle, she tried her best to stop herself from crying out loud. However, no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't stop, all she wanted to do was walk out of the cubicle discreetly.

A few moments later, she finally stopped and when she opened the cubicle, eyes were all on her as she walks past them. She could feel the stare and the worried look that they were giving off. This made her more embarrassed as she quickly washed her face off and scurry out of the restroom.

When she got back to the waiting room, her parents were waiting for her so they could visit her brother in the ward below their level. They went down to where his brother was and came in to check up on him.

When they went in, they saw his condition. They were shocked to see what had happened to him. Her parents tried talking to him, but it was difficult to hear him as he was having a neck brace, he couldn't move his head around too much if not he would be in serious pain.

Looking at his brother laying on the hospital bed, she couldn't help but wondered what he might have felt when he got run over by that car. She stood in silence as she stood behind her parents, afraid of confronting her brother as she could break down at any moment.

" You should let him rest. He can't handle being overwhelmed after finishing his surgery. You guys can come back later." The nurse suggested to the family

" Alright, we should get going now. We will see you later." Harper's parents said their goodbyes

Just after her parents left, she went up to her brother while he was unconscious from the morphine, kissed him on the head and said her goodbye before going off. She walked away, as she finally can rest easy knowing her brother is better.

She can finally let go of all anxiety and trouble, for now, knowing he will be taken care of until he was discharged from the hospital.

" That's all of it. That's what happen back then. I didn't know what to do after that incident and I didn't know how to face you guys."

The rain stopped after a while, as they sat beside the riverbank overlooking the neighborhood park, as the cool windy breeze past them. It sent shivers as the cold air swept through, the environment look different after the rain, it was mesmerizing, it was as if it was from a movie.

The landscape of the buildings and the backdrop of the city seems to play a huge difference in having a more surreal effect. The grey clouds vanish from the sky, and the sun emerges as the late afternoon starts back up once again, feeling the heat as the sun shines down on them.

The heat was once again becoming irresistible.

Bringing about two things: The first was it became easier for people to dry their laundry out in the open and the other was it made it easier for drivers to drive on the open road once again.

The park nearby came to life as children started playing around in the nearby playground, parents trying to keep their children from playing in the puddle as they wore bright yellow raincoats.

Cyclists and joggers took over the pavement as they resume their activity after the downpour.

Droplets from the trees dripped down slowly, from the leaves and branches. Birds chirping and crickets buzzing could be heard as they start coming out from their shelters.

They continue to sit on the moist grass as she told her story.

" I can't believe I ran into you here. It's been forever since I last saw you. We didn't know what happened to you and why you left. I understand the reason now."

" Yeah, I spoke to my parents about switching schools because I didn't know how to deal with everything that had happened. I just wanted to have a fresh start, away from the people who knew my problems." Harper spoke

" It wasn't the best idea, but I was so clueless and I was dealing with everything by myself so I thought that was the wisest thing to do. Plus, I didn't know what to do back then, I was so scared of how frustrated you guys might have been." She continued

" All I could think of was, how much you guys hated me for storming out of the auditorium, even before the match concluded. I just ran away and I thought it would be the best reason and that I would just forget about all of this altogether." She explained

" I see. We were kinda annoyed. You just left out of nowhere without saying anything to us. I believe Mio was more upset and mad about you leaving and well for ruining the competition. She was angry after we lost that competition but we could never hate you." She replied

" Are you sure?" Harper's voice cracked

" Am I sure? Of course, I'm sure! You saved us. You were the one that stick with us when we couldn't recruit anyone. You stuck by us when you know nothing about this club. You were given the chance to leave, but you didn't, for that, we are truly grateful and we would never hate that part about you." Ritsu express herself

Harper started to cry out, after she heard those words coming from her previous teammate. She couldn't understand why she wasn't mad at her after what she had done to her and that she still accepts her as she is.

She was filled with resentment and sadness, she couldn't face them back then, and she regretted running away. Ritsu pulled her close and hugged her tightly and gently caressed her head as she tell her that it was okay. That she understand why she needed to do what she did back then.

" It's okay Harper. It was beyond what you could control and we can never stay mad or even hate you for a second for trying to do what you needed to." Ritsu comforted Harper

" Thanks, Ritsu, that means a lot! I don't know if Mio would feel the same way. It seems like she was pretty mad from what you said." Harper worried

" She will be fine. She was mad at you for blowing the competition, but I'm sure if you tell her the truth about what happened, she will be able to understand why you did what you did." Ristsu assured Harper

" I want to tell her, but I'm not sure how she will be able to take it, after all, I left without saying anything at all. It's honestly kinda frightening telling you this story, to begin with, I'm not sure if I can do it again with her. Especially with her being that mad from what I have done in the competition." She replied

" If you're still feeling a little uneasy or frightened facing her maybe I can come with you. That way I would be able to help you face your fears, I will be there if you feel worried so that you won't have to face her yourself, and I am there to support you and give you the courage that you're lacking." She suggested

" Really? You would do that? I feel like I'm asking for too much?"

" Yeah, it's no problem at all. I got your back don't worry"

" Thanks, Ritsu, that means a lot!!"

" We should get going, her place is a little far from here."

" Right, let's go..." She reluctantly answered

They stood up and went to the nearby bus stopped, which was a fair way off from where they were. It took a long time for Harper to face her past, but it was time for her to find her courage and face the truth and finally stop herself from running away.

After all of these years of hiding, she needs to find a way to express what she wants to convey to Mio, it was time to make herself face what is long overdue and redeem the friendship she had lost a long time ago.

They set out on a journey to find her long-time teammate to explain to her what had happened, with the help of Ritsu, in hopes that she would understand and hopefully she will be able to find a way to forgive Harper for what she had done to her a few years ago.

It was time to make her Resolution.
