Gabriel stares out the window of his apartment that he felt like he was rarely in anymore. "It's going to be very chaotic around here for a while."

"I can't believe they've actually gone and daggered him." Kol sighs. "In what world do we all get to live after doing something like that."

"A world in which I have a plan." Gabriel strongly replies. "My planning can only go so far ahead before Nik's anger gets the best of him. I have a strong feeling that although he and I planned this, the betrayal of our siblings following through is going to push him over the edge."

"Bloody hypocrite." Kol scoffs over the phone. "I'm putting the device on speaker, Davina would like to speak to you as well."

"Hello my little witch." Gabriel smiles.

"Dad!" She responds. "Are you sure you don't want us to come back?"

"Yes, I'm quite sure." He chuckles. "I wouldn't want either of you getting hurt."

"What about Caroline?" She questions. "Have you heard from her?"

Gabriel sighs looking at a picture of the two she had placed on top of his dresser. "No I have not. I would send you two to mystic falls but I know Kol is too big of a target."

"What if I went alone?" Davina questions. Both men automatically respond with 'NO.'

"It was just a suggestion."She grumbles.

"I'll make the trip to Mystic Falls after everything here has settled down if she still hasn't responded to my calls. I'm just glad she's not here to get caught in the cross fire of it all." He looks to his hands, missing her so god damned much.

Klaus is still laying in a coffin, where the golden dagger Kol and Davina made is still stabbed into his chest, desiccating his body. Rebekah and Elijah stand beside him, looking conflicted and guilty about what they've done to him. The damage was done and irreversible. It was nothing he hadn't done to them but it still felt different. They were preventing him from destroying them all, atleast that's what they thought.

"Gabriel has disappeared." Elijah suddenly speaks.

Rebekahs head snaps toward her brother. "What the bloody hell do you mean he's disappeared?"

"I fear him and Klaus had some sort of plan all along." Elijah sighs through his nostrils.

"Gabriel wouldn't hurt us." Rebekah refuses.

"Maybe." Elijah confesses. "But he would do anything for Hope."

Rebekah looks back down to her brothers Grey body. "Do you think he'll try to take the dagger out of Nik?"

"I think we need to think like Niklaus and Gabriel if we're to beat them and protect Hope." Elijah admits.

"Lijah, if Gabriel has a plan then maybe we should listen to him." Rebekah sputters. "Not go against him, that's a fight we would never win."

"Are you with us or not?" Elijah narrows his eyes at his sister. "We know how to protect Hope, so are you willing to chance that?"

Rebekahs eyes widen as she realized how much Elijah was beginning to act like Niklaus. "I'm with you."

"Follow me." He gestures. They walk towards the cellars and Rebekah pauses. "Lijah what could possibly be down in this dreary place you think is worth my time?"

She gasps as she sees a familiar blonde passed out and tied to a chair with ropes. She takes a step back. "Lijah what have you done?"

"What had to be done." He argues.

"He will KILL us all! Are you mad?" She yells.

"He won't protect Niklaus if Caroline's life is on the line." He shakes his head.

"Our lives are now on the line!" She roughly grits.

Rebekah walks out of their home and looks down both sides of the street. She puts a foot forward to walk across but she's scooped up into an alley way before she could even take one step.

She goes to scream hoping Elijah would hear her but her attacker quickly covers her mouth. Her eyes widen in shock when she sees who it is. He lets go of her mouth. "Gabriel! What the bloody hell do you think you're doing?"

His face is stone cold. "You were really not going to tell me, where you?"

"Tell you what?" Rebekah nervously questions but covers it up with snark.

"That Elijah's kidnapped the love of my life to use against me." Gabriel hums. Disappointment lacing his every word.

"Gabri-" she tries to defend her self but he tsks.

"And to think." He scoffs. "All the times I've protected you from all of our siblings wrath."

Her eyes water. "You don't understand, Nik will doom us all."

"All you had to do was trust your big brother to do what he always does, save the day." He scolds. "But since you've obviously chosen your side..."

He grabs both sides of her face, not allowing her to move and starts chanting before she could say a word.

"Are you alright, Love?" Gabriel worriedly questions as Caroline groans awake.

"Gabriel?" She groggily questions.

He pulls her into his side. "Yes, it's me, don't worry. You're safe now."

She slowly sits up, rubbing her head. "Was I dreaming or did Elijah knock me out and hold me hostage?"

Gabriel sighs into her hair, feeling guilty his own siblings had put her through this. "I'm sorry, Care."

She grabs his face. "Hey, hey it's okay. It's not your fault."

He grabs her wrist and opens his mouth to respond but he freezes. "You feel different."

She raises her brow. "Not exactly what a girl likes to hear."

He shakes his head analyzing her head to toe. "No. I can't figure out what it is but there's like this faint magical aura surrounding you that I usually feel when I'm around witches."

"Well I haven't turned into a witch in a week." Caroline says with confusion lacing her tone.

He shakes his head. "It doesn't matter. All that matters is that you're back."

"What are we going to do when Elijah realizes I'm gone?" She worriedly questions.

"He won't." Gabriel sighs. "Please don't be mad at me."

She narrows her eyes. "Spill, now."

"What am I supposed to do trapped in this apartment for god knows how long?" Caroline groans.

He throws her his card. "Here. Go online shopping, text me whatever you want to eat, or call Davina. She was worried about you, ya know?"

"She was?" Caroline awes.

He softly smiles at her. "She's never really had a mother figure you know? I think she's starting to get attached."

"What does that mean?" Caroline furrows her brows.

He kisses her forehead. "It just means you're not going anywhere for a long long time."

Caroline looks to the floor looking like she's trying to hide her expression. "I know I said I was okay with you having feelings for Hayley... but what happens if one day you change your mind about us? I don't want to be the girl that waits around for years only to be left with nothing."

Gabriel leans against the wall and crosses his arms and legs. "Care... I know how hard this must be for you. It hurts me to put you in such a predicament." He sighs. "All I know is that right now as I look at you, I love you. I... I want to marry you some day. I want to take you everywhere you ever want to go and I want to get you everything you could ever want."

"And Hayley..." Caroline trails off.

Gabriel looks away. "When I look at her I see pain. But I know that I just want her safe, I want her happy."
