《To Be Loved By A Mikaelson | Hayley Marshal》MR. PLANNING

Rebekah, still in her witch vessel, is wandering around a street full of witches selling various items as she talks to her brothers via a four-way phone call. Klaus is standing on the balcony overlooking the courtyard, watching as the werewolves spar with each other, while Elijah is looking through his closet for a suit to wear for the day.
Gabriel on the other hand is leaning against the head board with Caroline sitting between his legs leaning against his torso. The phone is on speaker, the pair playing with each other's hands in only lingerie, though fortunately his siblings weren't aware of that.
"Enough already with the family squabbling! Come on, Nik. Even you can see that the situation has become awkward." Rebekah accuses.
"There's nothing awkward about it! Hayley and Hope are belong in the compound where they are safe. As much as I would like Elijah and Gabriel's help to kill Finn, if their delicate sensibilities are offended by the presence of Hayley's new husband, then he's welcome to continue sulking across the river and Gabriel in his apartment." Klaus huffs in amusement.
"May I remind you, I moved away from that compound because of you two and trust me," Gabriel pauses as he playfully bites at Caroline's neck. "I quite prefer it here."
Rebekah silently gags and Elijah grunts in annoyance. " And as I have explained to you repeatedly, brother, my presence here in Algiers is purely to assemble allies, and given all the enemies we have afoot in the form of wayward siblings and ancient, maniacal aunt Dahlias, I would think that you would applaud my efforts."
"Well, if it's my applause you seek, you shouldn't have dashed off in a bloody huff!" Klaus raises his voice back. "And Gabriel you've been invited back plenty of times."
"To which I gladly declined, every time." Gabriel chuckles.
Rebekah sighs and tries to get them back on track. "Alright, can you two at least try and stay focused on what's best for Hope's safety?"
"I would like nothing more!"
"I am doing exactly that!"
Klaus and Elijah reply in unison.
"See? You're on the same team. Conflict resolved, crisis averted. We'll talk later, Love you Gabriel." She hangs up.
Gabriel hangs up directly after, in no mood to hear his brothers repeatedly squabble. Throwing the phone on the empty side of the bed, he slightly sits up and rubs the sides of the blondes arms. Kissing her shoulder he hums. "You have to go back soon."
Caroline sighs. "How'd you know?"
"Well..." He trails off, gesturing a raised brow towards her phone buzzing on the nightstand. "Your mystic falls friends have been calling you non-stop for days now."
"I'm not ready." Caroline confesses. "And why do you call them my Mystic Falls friends?"
He tilts her jaw sideways, allowing them to share eye contact. "Caroline Forbes, you silly, silly girl. You've been here for months now, do you honestly think the only friends you have are in Mystic Falls."
"I haven't really had time to make any friends here." She shrugs. "You know with most of the New Orleans population trying to kill your family."
Gabriel raises an amused brow at her. "Do you know how the best of friends and family are made?"
Caroline simply stares on curiously waiting for him to finish.
Rubbing his nose against hers in an affectionate way he continues. "In war. In war you go through life or death situations every day with people and get to know their darkest fears and secrets, their greatest strengths and their biggest weakness. I know I speak for the rest of my siblings when I say you are apart of this family now. Marcel, the vampires, and even a few of the wolves consider you their friends as well."

"That's not true." Caroline shyly smacks his arm.
"It is." He promises. "No matter how long you're gone, New Orleans is now another place you can consider home. You will always have a place here."
Caroline's smile brightens and she pulls him into a deep kiss. Knowing that she'll never be able to put into words how grateful she is for the man that is Gabriel Mikaelson.
—
Caroline and Gabriel rush into Marcel's loft with Elijah not too far behind looking concerned. Gabriel immediately pulls his sister into his arms, knowing he could have lost her today forever because of the mortal body she possessed. "Are you alright Bex?"
"Barely. The attackers knew me. Not me me, but..." She gestures at her body. "...this, her, whoever she is. They want her dead."
"Can't we just explain to them that you aren't this woman, tell them that you took her body over?" Caroline questions, taking a seat on the empty couch.
"They wouldn't believe us." Marcel shakes his head.
"We will find them and show them why their anger is unwise." Elijah promises his sister.
"You don't want to mess with that crowd, alright? We want answers, we need to ask Josephine LaRue. She serves as matriarch to the covens outside the Quarter. She'll know who wants Rebekah dead." Marcel prompts, looking towards Gabriel for support.
"How can you be sure?" Gabriel questions, not unkindly.
Marcel shrugs. " Easy. She bankrolls Fauline Cottage. She'll know who you are and why you were locked up in there."
Rebekah looks at him in mild annoyance. "And what if she wants to lock me right back up? I won't go back to that horrid place."
"The two of you go and see what you can find about this body you possess. We will pay a visit to Josephine. Bex you are not who you once were. This body is mortal. Please be careful." He pleads. Rebekah hesitantly nods her head in agreement. Her gives her a kiss on the check before leaving, Caroline follows along after giving Rebekah a look of sympathy. Growing up with all the Mikaelson brothers that had complete opposite personalities yet rivaling ego's is something she couldn't even begin to imagine.
—
Gabriel's eyes slightly widen as he walks into Elijah's new apartment in Algiers and imagine his surprise when he sees Gia sitting on the couch. Caroline looks between the two suspiciously as the tension becomes apparent.
"Gia this is Caroline, Caroline this is Gia." Gabriel curtly introduces. "Lijah, not to be rude or anything but why is Gia here?"
"From what I can gather, Miss LaRue was something of a musical prodigy in her youth. The way to her heart is with the music she loves the most... Beethoven, "sonata number 9, opus 47." He explains as he gives the young vampire a sheet of music to memorize.
Gia sends him an unimpressed look. "How about I bring my laptop, speakers, add a drumbeat?"
Gabriel takes a seat on the couch opposite of Gia and almost chuckles at how quick Caroline was to sit on his lap, rather than the open cushion directly next to him.
"The promise of your performance is what has opened the door for us. If this fails, the life of someone I care for deeply will be in jeopardy, and that will displease me immensely." Elijah says, hiding his slight threat with his stoic facade.
"Dial in down a notch, brother." Gabriel sighs as he notices Gia's face become uncertain. "You know as well as I that I want our sister safe but it is not fair in the slightest to put all of the pressure on a new vampire. Gia if you are to mess up, it will be fine. I will handle it."

"Unfortunately Miss LaRue despises vampires, so we need to show her that our community is comprised of a... A different breed with a new sophistication." Elijah justifies his manners.
"Should I stay back? I can go see what Davina is up to." Caroline states, knowing if the older woman already had a strong hatred for vampires, bringing along someone extra that couldn't contribute probably wasn't a good idea.
"Nonsense." Gabriel smirks. "Plus, you're the perfect example of a controlled and civil vampire."
—
Arriving at the witches mansion, Gabriel holds the door open for Caroline flanking her in case any of the witches became a bit testy. A butler escorts them inside near an elder woman is seated in the common room. The start off with Gia playing the annoying piece of music Elijah had picked out, though Gabriel has to admit that she did play beautifully.
"You are as calculating as I've heard, Mr. Mikaelson, having your companion play the very piece I once performed to great acclaim." Josephine addresses Elijah.
"Is it not also a piece that you enjoy?" He inquires.
"It's best not to insult those more powerful than you, which is the only reason I allowed you into my home. Now, if you will excuse me, I have many things to do." Josephine says in a calm tone. "However there may be an exception."
Everyone turns towards Gabriel who keeps a straight but not unfriendly face. "Madam Larue." He greets.
"'I've heard about you. Gabriel Mikaelson." She inhales a deep breath. "Tragedy runs through your veins, though unlike your siblings you are not the cause for it. But I will say, Since your family has returned to this city, our Elders have been murdered, promising young witches have been inhabited against their will."
"And I can put an end to all of it." Elijah jumps in, Gabriel keeps quite. The difference between Gabriel and his siblings was that even in the worst of situations he knew how to remain calm. He didn't make promises he didn't want to or couldn't keep, and his never resorted to violence unless his family was in immediate danger or they had been harmed.
"With all due respect, I can believe that as much as I believe I will play my violin again someday...because, Mr. Mikaelson, beneath your formal attire, and behind the lovely Beethoven, you are all the same. Liars, monsters wearing the skins of humans. Good day to you both." She waves him off.
"Little brother I think it's time you and Gia went to the car." Gabriel suggests as he makes himself comfortable on the woman's couch. Elijah opens his mouth to retort but Gabriel sends him a glance, warning him against it.
The two leave the home once again escorted by the butler to the main entrance.
"Yes, Mr. Mikaelson I believe Ive said all that I need to." She says once they've left the home.
Gabriel doesnt immediately responds and instead stands up looking at all of the photos around the home. Picking up one in particular he chuckles. "Weird coincidence isn't it?"
"May I ask, what?" Josephine questions.
"That Marie Claire's great grandson was wed to your aunt." He smiles a the man in the photo before gently placing the picture back down.
"You're mistaken if you believe you can use Marie Claire to garner you sympathy here." She hums.
"I don't need your sympathy, however what I do need is to cash in a favor." Gabriel half smiles at the witch. "After all I know for a fact most witches are not ones to break their word."
"And what favor would I owe you?" She narrows her eyes at him in slight annoyance.
"Your aunt didn't escape that house fire on her own you know?" Her eyes slightly widen. "I saved them that night, and I was promised a favor in return for saving her life. You're not going to tarnish your aunts reputation now are you?"
Josephine places her tea on the small table beside her. "I suppose I should hear you out, Mr. Mikaelson."
Caroline watches the slight show for power fight between the two in amazement. If Caroline had learned one thing about the man it was this, Gabriel always finds a way.
—
"We always end up here, don't we?" Gabriel sighs under his breath as they look around the cemetery.
"We should get Davina a gift every time she has to track Klaus down." Caroline laughs.
Upon seeing Finn in his witch body on the floor coughing up blood Gabriel shouts his name. "I need him alive."
"I've no time for your soft-hearted sympathies." Klaus growls. "You cant save them all Gabriel. Stand aside."
Gabriel stands between Klaus and a very bruised and bleeding Finn. "Nik, knock it off."
"He came for my child!" He rages, unable to comprehend why Gabriel doesn't want his head as much as he does.
"The witches want that body returned unharmed. It's part of the deal to keep Rebekah safe." Gabriel calmly replies, Caroline leans against a nearby tomb keeping a watchful eye on Finn.
"And what else do they want? A parade? Free broomsticks for all?" Klaus snarks. Before Gabriel can respond a blonde woman Gabriel had never seen before appears next to them. Caroline stands straight. "Witch allies can prove valuable." She comments as she walks towards Finn's body.
Klaus takes a step forward but Gabriel puts a hand on his shoulder restraining him from doing so. The magic he felt from her was the same he felt the night his magic came back to him. This must be Freya.
"Freya... Freya, help me." Finn pleads with hopeful eyes.
She kneels next to him. "Don't worry, brother. I won't let them hurt you." She lifts a blue pendent from her neck and begins chanting a spell. Finn Screams in agony. "Yovara vimuna virael. Yovara vimuna virael."
Gabriel watches as the man sits up in shock and stares at the four Mikaelsons in fear. "Who are you?"
He falls back asleep when Freya wipes two fingers across his eyes. "What did you do to him?" Klaus skeptically questions.
Gabriel speaks before she can. "She sealed his soul in her pendant, the original owner of the body now has control over it."
Freya looks to Gabriel and nods. "And now, if you two can stop arguing long enough, perhaps you'll allow your older sister to offer you a deal."
"What could you possibly offer us besides fairy tales and lies? You might've forgotten after a thousand years but you are a little sister to Gabriel, love." Klaus snarks.
"Whatever you may think of me, brother, know this... When I speak to you, it is the truth. If you have any doubts, remember that it was I who rescued Rebekah from the Fauline Cottage." Freya says monotoned
"And was it not also you who led Finn on his vile mission to take Hope's life?" Elijah intervenes as Gabriel gestures for Caroline to stand behind him.
"The threat to hope came from Finn, not me. The brother I knew would never have stooped to threaten a child. Our mother destroyed him like she did me.. you, everything she touched." She looks to Klaus.
"Do not speak as though we are familiars. We know nothing of you." He spits back, Gabriel thinks back to the days of vaguely remembering Freya and wonders how Finn could so well but he couldn't.
Freya holds up both hands and chants, The Mikaelson brothers all receive a vision of a young Freya being taken by Dahlia. Esther and Finn were hysterically crying, begging for their aunt not to take the young girl. Once the vision ends Gabriel is more confused than before.
"Do you think me a liar?" Freya questions in a slight taunting tone.
Klaus scoffs. "That proves nothing but your ability to conjure illusions. After all sister, where was our eldest brother doing all of this? She only takes the first born so why you and not Gabriel?"
"That's a story for another time. Before you dismiss me, you should know this: if I've woken from my slumber, Dahlia has as well. Once she's sensed your child's magic, she will come for her, and she has the power to kill anyone who stands in her way unless we kill her first." Freya says in an urgent tone.
"That's quite convenient, isn't it? You show up in the nick of time to help us kill the woman with whom you've spent a thousand years!" Klaus shouts in anger, not believing the woman for one second.
Gabriel grabs Carolines hand in the midst of it all feeling like one of them were going to burst.
"You have no idea what it took to escape her or what I lost in the trying. Her punishment will be profound." Freya retorts with just as much anger in her tone.
"And you know how to stop her?" Elijah questions, in a somewhat sympathetic tone.
Freya nods. " Given the proper materials, yes. I've sent Father to procure them."
Both Caroline and Gabriel's eyes widen in anger and slight fear. "You did what?!" Gabriel growls.
At the same time Klaus's fury only grows. "You put the life of my child in the hands of Mikael?"
Klaus begins to storm off and Gabriel follows him, ignoring Elijah's pleas for them to listen. If he was being honest he didn't hate the idea of Freya being his long lost sister. But Hope is his main priority and if anyone including his siblings are to get in the way of saving her he wouldn't hesitate to put an end to it, and involving Mikael did exactly that.
—
Caroline wraps her arms around his bare torso from behind and lays a gentle kiss on his shoulder blade in the shower. "What're you gonna do?"
Gabriel wipes the water from his face and turns around, pulling her head into his chest. "I'm not sure yet, but one things for sure. Mikael and I will not walk the same earth for very long."
