《To Be Loved By A Mikaelson | Hayley Marshal》MR. FAREWELL

Gabriel and Davina park their car right behind Klaus and Hayleys when they get to the country house and Davina looks even more confused than when they first left the compound when she notices Klaus and Hayley doting on a baby. "Dad..." She mutters.
Gabriel takes a deep breath, Elijah and Rebekah looking towards the car. "Little witch... You're about to meet your cousin. Hope Mikaelson."
Davina's eyes widen so much that for a second Gabriels afraid that her eyes might pop out of socket. "WHAT?!" She screams so loud that all of the supernatural creatures near the house wince.
"What have I missed?" Rebekah looks towards the other three adults curiously.
"I'm not the only one who's become a father, little sister." Klaus says with a wide smile. He was very glad that Gabriel had stopped him from using the little girl as a weapon all that time ago. She was an innocent that was used and neglected since birth, and now she was a Mikaelson.
"We faked her death so that we could keep her safe." He calmly admits.
Davina's reply is simply to jump out of the car and sprint towards the baby. She was a sucker for baby's. And now she had a little cousin to look after. This family welcomed her with open arms and now she would vow to protect Hope Mikaelson with everything in her.
Gabriel calmly gets out of the car, carrying Davina's bags and by the time he gets to the porch Davina was smooshing the poor baby's cheeks, fawning over the baby. Davina turns to Gabriel. "Can you have a baby?" She eagerly questions.
Gabriels face pales and his siblings all laugh but as he looks to Hayley she looks down in somewhat guilt and sadness. They had talked about babies before she turned into a hybrid and now she didn't think she could even have kids. Not to mention there was something very big she hadn't told him yet.
"Maybe one day, my little witch. You're all I need for right now." He ruffles her hair but she swats his hand away.
He turns to Hope in Klaus' arms and his smile widens. "Ah! One of my favorite girls!" He exclaims.
When the baby squeals out a laugh all the adults look at him in disbelief. "She hasn't laughed that hard this whole time I've had her." Rebekah complains.
"Nor has she looked this happy the entire time I've been here." Elijah comments. He looks to Klaus to see if he's become jealous or angry like one would think he would but it makes Elijah happy when he realizes Niklaus didn't care, he was just happy Gabriel would care for her as much as he would.
"That's because uncle Gabriel is your favorite, isn't that right my littlest wolf!" He softly exclaims. Beaming when Hope reaches her arms out for him, wanting him to hold her instead of Klaus who chuckles at the baby. Gabriel brings her into his arms and she lays her head down on his chest, babbling on and on in some baby dialect.
Gabriel gasps. "You think I should buy you a foreign car?"
Hope squeals once again and Gabriel nods his head in agreement. "Yes I agree, a new one every year is a fair deal."
All of the adults laugh and Hayley watches the two in adoration.
—
All of the Mikaelsons are in the backyard slowly building a fire as they discuss their most recent troubles. "Curse on the first-born? What the bloody hell is that supposed to mean?" Rebekah shouts.
"Well, according to Finn, our sister Freya didn't die of plague. She was taken as payment by our aunt Dahlia, who then cursed all Mikaelson first-borns for eternity." Klaus explains and Gabriel interrupts him. "It's true."
As everyone looks towards him they decide not to question him, much like Elijah you could see in his eyes that his mental trauma had taken a large tole on him
"Well, no wonder Finn hates us. He lost the sister he adored, and instead got a judgy pack of siblings who found him unbearably dull." Rebekah drawls.
"No lies there." Gabriel mumbles to Davina who laughs in response.
Hayley rolls her eyes. "Great. So, is there any chance of us running into your loony aunt Dahlia any time soon?"
Elijah shakes his head. "The fable's over a thousand years old. Dahlia is long dead."
"..Like Esther?" Hayley doubtfully responds after a moment of silence.
"No one's going to hurt Hope, because no one's going to find her. There's enough wood, Rebekah. You'll burn down the whole bloody state of Arkansas." Klaus complains.
Gabriel who's holding Hope smacks his arm. "Dont talk to Rebekah like that."
Hope attempts to do the same thing and he cooes at her. "We're going to be best friends as you grow older."
Rebekah sticks her tongue out at Niklaus who only rolls his eyes. "Well, we're just missing a key ingredient!"
Klaus sighs in annoyance. "No, we're not."
"Yes, we are, Nik! Back me up, Elijah! Gabriel!" Rebekah looks to the two for their support but Elijah quietly chuckles. "I suspect Niklaus would rather choke on the ashes."
Hayley who was standing next to Gabriel looks towards all of the original Mikaelsons. "What are you all talking about?"
Gabriel's eyes focus on the woman and he can tell shes getting more nervous the more they talk about Dahlia. When Hayley looks to him he nods his head sideways motioning for her to come closer. Hope copies her uncle and Hayley cant help but laugh at the pair. As she steps closer to Gabriel he throws an arm over her shoulder and she lays her head on his chest, playing with Hope as she listens to Rebekah explain their tradition. "Well, before we light it, we write down our wishes for each other to burn for luck! It was Kol's favorite part when we were kids!"
"Hope and Davina's first bonfire season. I like it! We're doing it!" Hayley smiles widely, kissing Gabriel and hope on the cheek and running inside before realizing what she did.
Gabriel looks shocked with his mouth slightly agape and Hope does the same.
Davina giggles at the pair.
Elijah and Rebekah tease Gabriel on his reaction but Klaus looks slightly angry. He knew she wasn't doing it on purpose but she was only going to hurt his brother in the end. Deciding to ignore it for now he scolds Gabriel. "Close your mouth! You're teaching my daughter to act like a love sick fool when shes not even one yet!"
—
Klaus is holding Hope and sitting at the dining room table when Hayley comes in with a notebook and pencils to write down their wishes. She hands him the items. "Here."
He doesn't take his eyes off of Hope when he replies. "I'm holding a small child, Hayley. This silly wish game will have to wait!"
Hayley shrugs with a smile. "You write, I'll hold."
"You do realize it is not I who is to be the husband you can boss around?" He quips.

She only sends him an even wider sarcastic smile. "You do realize that I had to endure horrendous labor and actual death birthing the child that you're holding?"
Klaus gives her Hope and begins writing on the piece of paper. "I wish Hayley would tell Gabriel you're marrying your werewolf suitor, at which point I will pour him a scotch and congratulate him on the bullet he dodged."
Hayley glares at Klaus, not amused. She snatches the paper from his hands and crumples it up and tosses the ball of the ground, leaving the room.
—
Gabriel is out on the porch trying to occupy his mind, stacking up firewood. He started having flashbacks of his white door. Of both Hayley and Marie screaming as they pound on the door begging for safety.
Rebekah steps out on to the porch and gently touches his arm. He flinches as he realizes she was there. "What is it you see when you go away like that?"
"Rebekah, I-I cant talk about it." Gabriels voice cracks but he clears his throat. "I tried and mother must have put a spell on me... So I'm stuck inside of my head, wondering if its true. If my memories are real or if they're made up. I'm stuck with nightmares ill never be able to get rid of. I suppose it's her way of demonstrating I'd be better off taking her deal. To start over. To live a mortal life. Have a child of my own, if I choose."
"Cursed as your first-born, if we're to believe the story." Rebekah reminds him.
"Not if I am no longer Mikaelson blood. You see, this is the beauty of Mother, Rebekah, sometimes even her darkest deeds possess a logic that is difficult to refute. I'm starting to wonder if being a Mikaelson is worth all of this pain." He admits.
Rebekah eyes become sad. "It's a lovely fantasy, Gabriel."
"Rebekah, you and I both know what Mother is capable of. Now, I do wonder, if she would relent and leave us be... What if all that Mother needs is a victory?" Gabriel questions.
"Let her find it somewhere else! Besides, she wants all three of us." She throws her arms up.
"She has Kol, she has Finn. Now, perhaps, in the end, a simple majority will do?" Gabriel hums leaving Rebekah in silence.
-
They're all outside around the bonfire waiting for Rebekah to hurry up when she runs outside. "Hey! Look what I found! I wonder if it'll work." She shouts, waving a Polaroid in the air.
Klaus sighs. "Oh, bloody hell."
"Come on, let's try it! Hey, Nik, do you think you can cram us all into a selfie?" Rebekah questions.
Elijah smirks. Oh, Niklaus is a virtuoso at cramming his siblings into confined spaces. Lucky for Gabriel he doesnt know our pain."
" Well, I'm just glad I traveled hundreds of miles to visit my mentally ill brother, only to have him insult me to my face! Klaus scoffs.
"Oh, come on, just take the picture!" Klaus holds the camera up to take a picture of the seven of them together and everyone smiles except for Klaus.
After the photo prints Rebekah takes a look at it with a soft smile. "Aw, see? I wish that it could always be like this. "
"If wishes were horses..." Elijah starts and klaus finishes it. "..Beggars would ride. You realize we'll have to burn it. You want me to make a wish for the family, Rebekah? I wish it didn't have to be like this. But, it does."
Hayley notices that Gabriel was looking down at her in the photo with the lost loving eyes she had seen since before she gave birth. She loved Gabriel, but she needed to protect Hope and her people. Hayley glances at Gabriel and sadly smiles at him, throwing the photo in the fire.
Gabriel wraps in arm around Davina in comfort. She wasn't used to sacrifices like these, where you have to throw away your own happiness to protect your family. "No! This isn't right. We deserve this. We've earned this." Rebekah says in anger and sadness.
Everyone looks at her confused and Gabriels body tenses. "Rebekah, no..."
Rebekah looks him in the eye. "I'm going to take her deal. And, when I do, I'm taking her down with me."
—
Hayley had gone to feed Hope and Gabriel sent Davina to bed seeing as she was yawning and he didn't want her to force herself to stay awake just to listen to them all argue.
"It'll work. She will be distracted during the spell. She'll be vulnerable." Rebekah tells her three brothers.
Klaus shakes his head. "No. If we kill her, she body-jumps."
"Then stop her from jumping!" Rebekah demands as if it were just that simple.
"If I knew how to bloody stop her from jumping, don't you think I would have happily murdered her ages ago?" Klaus looks at her quizzically.
Rebekah shrugs. "Well, ages ago, you didn't have a Harvest girl or a Mikaelson witch willing to cooperate. Kol knows all of her tricks."
"I cant do it because of the magic Esther planted into my mind." Gabriel confesses before Rebekah could volunteer him. "Rebekah this is insane."
She looks at him in disbelief. "Hardly, Gabriel. It was your idea! You're the one who said she needed a win, and if we get this right, then she'll have one."
Gabriel growls, the though of his sister being put in such a vulnerable position makes him nervous. "And if we get it wrong, you're no longer in your own body!
Rebekah lowers her voice when she realized Gabriel was just concerned for her well being. "Would that be the worst thing? You were ready to do it yourself."
Both Klaus and Elijah look at there brother in concern and surprise. Never had they expected Gabriel of all people to want something as simple as a mundane body.
Gabriel avoids all of their prying eyes. "It was a foolish moment, and one that you sagely dissuaded me from.
"Hopefully, we'll get lucky and stop the spell before I jump."
"And, if we're not, you'll get what you always wanted. I mean, that's what you're saying, isn't it? You're willing to lose." Klaus questions, still in disbelief that they were going to go through with this plan.
" I'm willing to risk losing, yes." She confirms.
Gabriel sighs. "Well, we need to find someone for her to jump into. Someone anonymous. Someone who could disappear with Hope."
Elijah speaks up with alarm in his eyes. "Rebekah, we've been together for centuries. If you were human..."
Rebekah rolls her eyes at his concern. "When I'm old and wrinkly, you can dump me back into my old body. Nik already has a coffin he can store me in."
Elijah crosses his arms, looking towards Gabriel. "But, to trust Kol?"
"If I'm not the one jumping bodies, I can't guarantee anything on Kol's end." He honestly tells them all.
"It's not about trust, Elijah. It's about finding the proper leverage." Rebekah pipes up.
Klaus pulls out his phone and types in a number. "She's right. Kol will do what's best for Kol; We just have to meet his price."
—
It's later in the nighttime now. Elijah, Klaus, and Rebekah had left for New Orleans to follow through with the plan with a promise from Gabriel to keep Hope safe. With Davina asleep, he didn't want to wake her up to go all the way back to New Orleans or to leave her there so he decided it would be best to stay.
Hayley walks into the living room where Gabriel sits near the fireplace writing in his journal. His journal for Hayley. She stops in the doorway and Gabriel flips his journal shut waiting for her to speak. "She's asleep. It's so quiet, with Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah gone." Hayley pauses. "So, we didn't get to say our wishes. Can I tell you mine?"
Gabriel looks at her quizzically. "You can tell me anything Hayley." He says in honesty.
"It's a hope, actually... that you'll understand what I have to tell you." He can see her eyes becoming more red the more she talks and he becomes concerned.
"And what is it?" He questions, placing the journal on the end table.
"My wolves. I think I figured out a way to release them from the witches." Gabriel stands in surprise, yet extremely happy for her. "They could control their turning without the rings, and bring peace to our home so that Hope could return to us. But, there's a catch... I have to marry Jackson."
Gabriel looks like he had been stabbed.
"It's a, um, mystical ceremony, and-and an alpha bonding ritual...?" Feeling the need to explain further, a traitor tear falls from her eye as she watches his heart break in two.
Gabriel turns the other way so she couldn't see his own glossy eyes. Never did he expect this. He knew of their arranged marriage but he didn't expect it to hurt this much.
"Gabriel... I know that you and I haven't been close recently, but... you have to know that this isn't about him. I don't love Jackson, but... at the same time, I couldn't marry him and still be involved with you." She looks down, fiddling with her fingers. "I don't know, I should just..." She turns to leave but Gabriel speeds in front of her body and gently stops her by her arm.
Hayley turns around and they both look into each other's tear filled eyes. Regret can be seen in both of their eyes. Regret for taking advantage of time they didn't realize that the didn't have. Gabriel slowly trails his hand down from her arm to her waist, Hayleys breath becomes uneven from the intimate affection. They had never gone further than a kiss, thinking they had all the time in the world.
Pulling her into him he places his lips on her own engaging in a passionate kiss. He cups both sides of her jaw and She grips the sleeves of his shirt like she had done so long ago when they had first met. "Marry him." Gabriel's bloodshot eyes stare into her own dazed yet red eyes.
"What?" Her own heartbreaks.
Gabriel pushes a stray hair out of her face and behind her ear. "Listen to me, I will never make you do something that you don't want to. Tell me to make that city safe for Hopes return all on my own and I will do everything in my power to do so. The only way that this city will be safe for Hope's return and saving your own people is if you have unified your people, and I have unified my own. Now, Davina will eventually lead her witches, and that girl is my daughter, she is no enemy to Hope. Do what you need to bring your daughter home. That is my wish for you. I wanted to marry you, I wanted to see you wobbling around our own country house nine months pregnant, I wanted to deal with all of your mood swings alone, I wanted to hold our baby in my arms and thank you for making me the happiest man in the world..." They both cry at the happy fairytale that seemed would never happen. "But now, you'll be off doing that with someone else. Let me have you tonight, and ill allow him to have you for the rest of your lives."
Hayley nods her head. After a few more moments of silence they both lunge at each other in harsh kisses and tight holds. Gabriel urgently pats the back of her thighs and she jumps, wrapping her legs around his torso. Their teeth clash from how harsh their kisses were, and without looking Gabriel swipes everything off of the table.
He lays her down, immediately ripping her shirt down the middle and quickly getting rid of his own. Hayley hungrily runs her nails down his chest before pulling him down into another kiss by the neck.
—
"Gabriel!" She moans into his mouth as he relentlessly pounds into her, refusing to break their kiss he swallows all of her moans.
Picking her up from the table he roughly slams her against the wall.
—
Holding her by the throat with one hand he sinks his teeth into the other side of her neck, smirking when he hears her scream out in pain and pleasure.
He groans at the taste of her, realizing he would never get enough. He's slightly reminded of the trauma his mother had caused but he pushes it away, not allowing himself to ruin their last intimate moments.
—
With both arms around her waist he pulls her in as tight as possible, completely bare of clothing , still holding her against the wall as she digs her own teeth into his neck. Hayley had never realized the feeling was so euphoric, but secretly apart of her knew she would only ever feel this with Gabriel.

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
