"NIKLAUS!" Gabriel roars in rage after he stops his brother from getting to their younger sister for the seventh time in the past two hours. "Stop this nonsense now! You're being ridiculous."
Klaus scoffs in disbelief. "Did you not hear what she did? And yet you protect her and for what? She will betray you too. She did when she called Mikael! He hates you as much as he hates me!"
"She was scared of you! You never gave her any freedom nor did you allow her to love!" Gabriel defends his sister, and although he was furious with her, he would protect her until he was dead. Always.
"You weren't even here! You didn't witness how cruel father was when he threatened me with the white oak stake slowly digging into my back! You were gone!" Klaus shouts in anger, as he points the exact weapon towards his brother.
"Is that what this is about? You're getting angry because I wasn't there to share your pain!" Gabriel spats out. "I have been taking your beatings and pain for a millennial!"
"You don't understand." Klaus mutters in annoyance. "You wouldn't."
"As soon as I got the message from the witches that Mikael was in New Orleans I came back and I'm the only reason why Elijah got out alive!" Gabriel screams in anger, finally fed up with all of his siblings."
"You're lying! You never came back to New Orleans that night!" Klaus snarks back, thinking he was lying.
"He's not lying, brother." Elijah whispers from a statue that he had been leaning against with his arms crossed. "He came that night. Father was about to end my own life and he stopped him. He made me flee and I didn't see him again until Mystic Falls." Elijah admits.
"If Elijah could have beaten father then, don't you think everything would be different? If he could actually stand against father!" Gabriel tries to get him to see sense.

"This changes nothing." Klaus says. "She still told Mikael where we were! She still led him right to us."
"And you have a right to be angry! Bloody hell! I have a right to be furious. I had just lost the girl I was In love with a couple of months prior and couldn't even take time to myself to grieve. All because she called father to New Orleans." Gabriel says impassively.
From a few statues away Rebekah lowers her head in guilt and shame. She finally realizes how her actions actually have consequences. And that she didn't just hurt Klaus or even Elijah. Hell, even Marcel. She did something she swore to herself she never would. She hurt her beloved brother. The brother that had never done anything but protect her.
And while she was crying and complaining because she couldn't display her love in public, her brother was grieving the fact that he would never see the woman he loved again. She was selfish when she called Mikael to New Orleans.
"That's enough." Rebekahs voice is heard, all three of their heads snap towards the voice. Two of them tensing in worry and the other glaring in fury.
"Rebekah." Elijah warns, his eyes narrowing at the female. Calculating what her next move could possibly be.
"Have you finally come to your senses? Are you ready to admit your wrongs? To admit that you hated me so much that you wished me dead." Klaus taunts with a raised brow.
"Shut up and listen." Rebekah grits out in annoyance. Watching as her eldest brother slowly comes to stand at her side in a protective stance. "I didn't call Mikael because I wanted you dead. I called him to New Orleans because you were cold and cruel. You forbid me from being with the man I loved and I could no longer take it."
"Ah, Marcel. And where is he now? Surely he's found a new girl to trollop around with. Perhaps someone younger and prettier." Klaus evilly grins, attempting to hid his hurt.

"This isn't about Marcel! It's about you and your need to control everything your siblings do. I guarantee that if you could that Gabriel would have been daggered hundreds of times." She snarks in anger as she tries to brush off his last comment,
" Just admit it Rebekah you wanted me dead!" Klaus screams, finally cutting to the point with out all of the unnecessary comments. "I will go through both of our brothers if I have to." He threatens.
Gabriel scoffs loudly. "I'd like to see you try Niklaus."
"I did not want you dead! I wanted you gone, so that I could finally love!" She exclaimed in anger.
Gabriel leans his shoulder against a tomb and crosses his arms against the other. He closes his eyes annoyed knowing his siblings were going to be arguing for a while longer.
Just as he's about to open his eyes he hears the terrified scream of his sister and the shouts of protests from Elijah.
Gabriel barely lets out a shout as he conceals his pain. He makes direct eye contact with his hybrid brother as Klaus slowly catches him. "If you do anything to our sister. I promise you, that I will kill you." Gabriel whispers harshly as he passes out from the pain.
Klaus's eyes widen at his brothers declaration and he turns towards his furious siblings who have both bared their teeth at him.
Hours later Gabriel wakes up very weakly. His body still soar from the blade, though he finds that it has been removed when he touches his blood stained shirt.
When everything comes back to him he gasps and uses all of his strength to lift himself off of the ground.
"It's about time, brother." Rebekah teases softly, but he can see the tears brimming her eyes. Scanning her for any injuries his eyes stop at the large hole in her shirt that was covered in dry blood. "I'm okay." She assures him.
"I-I'm so sorry. I let my guard down for a second." Gabriel curses himself, self hatred once again getting the best of him. "I was supposed to protect you."
"We've come to an all or nothing agreement. I leave town and swear to never come back and he lets me." She admits, sadness drowning her mind because she knows she'll be leaving her brother behind. "I don't suppose you fancy coming with me?" She fries anyways.
"You know I can't." He whispers, with a small sad smile on his face.
Rebekah speeds towards her brother that she loves more than anything and hugs him tightly. Gabriel uses all of his strength to replicate the hug.
"Don't stop fighting for her." She strongly urges, waiting until Gabriel nodded in agreement. "And don't let Niklaus destroy your happiness. That baby will have many enemies coming after her and it's going to be hard to protect them."
"I know. I'll protect them." He smiles tearfully. "Where will you go?" He questions softly.
"Perhaps Malaysia." She smiles slyly, but the tear running down her cheek dampens the mood. "I've been told it's lovely this time of year."
"Only an amazing person would say that." He teases with a laugh. Rebekah joining in. Once both of their laughter begins to die down he kisses her cheek gently. "Until I see you again, sister."
"Until then, brother." She smiles. He watches as she begins walking away before sending him one last smile and disappearing from his sight.
