As Gabriel speeds towards the asylum he hears the shouts of his brother. "REBEKAH!"
He follows the noise towards the basement where he sees Elijahs neck snapped and Marcel panting on the ground bloody.
Though when he turns his head his eyes glow a bright blue. Niklaus has his little sister in a choke hold and is holding Papa Tunde's blade against her chest.
Rushing towards the two he throws Rebekah to the side and swiftly stabs his brother in the stomach with the blade.
"Do not, touch our sister." Gabriel fumes.
Turning towards a now awake Elijah, Rebekah, and Marcel he shakes his head in frustration. "Run. As fast and as far as you can. NOW!"
Rebekahs eyes water when she sees the furious look in his eyes. He was beyond upset with her right now, that much she knew.
Making eye contact with Marcel they both speed away with out another word.
"Bring him back to the compound. I have a certain blonde I need to call." Gabriel exclaims before he leaves the building.
Holding the phone to his ear he waits impatiently. "Who is this?"
"Ah, Camille. You've forgotten about me already. I need you to come to the compound." Gabriel says bluntly. Not in the mood for games.
"Have you found a way to cure my uncles hex? He's getting worse by the day." Camille says hopefully.
"I did not know he had a hex. I've just recently woken up to this chaos my family seems to be built on. I need you to come to the compound." He says leaving no room for argument before hanging up.
He sighs as he gets back to the compound. Hearing his younger brother explaining to the blonde therapist all that had happened as of late.

He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. Everything was so overwhelming for him. If he was honest he still felt guilt about everything that happened with Caroline. And he'd be lying if he said he loved the girl any less for it. But he'd never make the same mistake again.
His eyes snap open and he scowls when he realizes there was only one beating heart in the compound.
The two heartbeats that usually calmed him down were gone.
Stomping out of the compound he speeds towards the Bayou where he knew the sneaky wolf would be.
He snarls when he sees the alpha wolf rubbing his fur on Hayleys leg. Speeding in front of the body Celeste was currently inhabiting he glares softly down at the she wolf.
"Whatever she had told you is a lie." He states coldly. Angry and overwhelmed. First his family and now Hayley.
"This is my only chance at finally freeing my family." Hayley tries to explain. "Once the full moon come and goes she's all yours."
"A whole month? It would take an army to keep her here!" Gabriel shouts in anger.
"And I've got one!" Hayley says stubbornly cocking her gun as all of the wolves let out a howl.
Rolling his eyes he grabs Celeste and speeds her about a mile away.
"What's your play here?" Gabriel questions the smug witch.
"There's no play here Gabriel." Celeste says with a wide smile.
"Why would you help the crescent pack that you, yourself cursed." He replies in an accusing tone.
"It'll make the Mikaelsons suffer." She says simply.
"And how's that?" Gabriel says with a raised brow.
"Easy. You don't give her family that cure she'll hate you forever. You give them the cure and you've lost Hayley. Either way you lose." She spats, her need for revenge getting the better of her.

Gabriel stays silent for a moment before shrugging. "If that's what she wants, then I'll be out of her life."
"The Mikaelsons I remember weren't always so decent." Celeste sighs.
"Oh they aren't. But me and my siblings aren't one and the same. Or did you forget about Marie?" Gabriel genuinely wonders. He understood. His family did so many people wrong, but they always seemed to forget what he was like.
"You loved her. She was my best friend and I had never seen her happier." Celeste says genuinely. "She died because she was a witch. Not because of your family, I'll give you that."
"I never would've let them hurt her." Gabriel immediately says in defense.
"I know... You're in love with Hayley aren't you?" She questions, like two old friends talking.
"I am." He confirms simply.
"You may be in love with her, but she's still pregnant with Klaus' child. She won't be alive for very long." Celeste says as more of a warning than a threat. She liked Gabriel, but she wasn't willing to give up her revenge.
They had a silent mutual agreement. They would fight on opposite sides but it was nothing personal against the other.
They're interrupted by a panting pregnant wolf. "Gabriel!"
She's shocked when he doesn't start an argument. Handing her the jar of the cure he assures her. "It will work."
"Thank you." She says sincerely.
"I'll stop by later." Gabriel hums. Giving her a small kiss on the forehead. She nods her head glancing towards the witch before walking back into the woods.
Taking Celeste into his arms before she could say a word he speeds them towards the cemetery.
"How did you-" Celeste questions confused but he interrupts her.
"I know everything." He teases with a small smile.
Elijah walks towards the gate looking between the two confused, wondering when they had became friends.
"Elijah." She says tensely.
"Celeste, or should I say Sabine?" Elijah snarks.
"Goodbye Celeste Dubois. It was a pleasure." Gabriel says sincerely with a sad smile.
"Goodbye Gabriel. Thank you for showing me what Marie saw in you." She nods back sincerely. "I wish you the best of luck."
"For what it's worth... I am sorry." He whispers with a small frown. No explanation necessary.
She knew he was apologizing for his family. For her death. For her best friends death.
"No apology needed." She nods towards the tribrid.
Slowly walking away to let the ex couple talk he looks back one last time to see her stab herself in the throat with a broken piece of glass as Elijah gasps in shock. Unable to move towards her because of the boundary spell.
They make eye contact one last time and she mouths. 'Thank you'
Another unspoken conversation. Thank you for giving me some sort of peace of mind. Thank you for not being like your family.
Of course he knew the witch was trying to transfer herself into another body, but it wouldn't work. Elijah had made sure of that.
So that would be the last of Celeste Dubois he ever saw. He hoped she was with Marie, and found peace.
He's taken out of his thoughts be a scream. His game face immediately coming out.
"REBEKAH!" He hears his younger brother scream.
He and Elijah both make eye contact and a silent promise is made.
Protect Rebekah at all costs.

Until Death? (Refleshed Version)
Ever been a god? Well, I was! Until I died.... and got judged by the other gods! Apparently, they didn't like the whole "My Faith is the only true one!" idea. Oh, and for the record: The Apocalypse wasn't intentional, ok? In my defense, I want it to be known that my enemies threw the first stone and the whole 'Offer the other cheek' just isn't my thing. Seems like, for punishment, I get sent onto a vacation! Or so I hope? ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— Author's Comment: It's here, a rewrite? Yes! I would like to think that this version will have better grammar, better jokes, hopefully, everything better. Since it was my first work and started solely to improve my English, the grammar always caused me headaches when I looked at it. Well, and there are the plotholes which appeared with the whole multiverse thing that came with my other works... Let's just say that the first one was never written with the idea of turning it into a series. So let's get a shovel and fill-up the plot so that hapless readers won't fall into those pitch-black pits. They might break a knee! Or worse, vanish forever. And now the disclaimer everyone knows: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently, I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur)

The Anthology
This is my collection of short stories. I ask what stories would my audience like to read and write whatever they post in the comments. I strive for more than two dimensional characters and I like to make my stories somewhat unique. The first six entries are my experiment to just write without stopping and see what comes out. They can serve as an introduction for the reader to me as a thinker and writer. Although it should be known that the majority of those entries were written in a foggy state of mind. Entry seven is where my short stories begin.
