I sipped the poison

You filled my cup

I knew I couldn't trust you

But still I smiled

and drank it up

See, it would be wrong of me

to put all the blame just on you

It was me, who was foolish

to think all your lies

were the truth

You opened my eyes

Even though my heart

already knew

Your actions, your words

In time, revealed the true you

It's not just what you say

it's more about what you do

And once you burn

that last bridge with me

I have no use for you
