The next morning, when Huang Dewei woke up and got ready in his royal guard uniform. He was ready to perform his duties. He came out from his residence when he heard the news of Xin Ying was pregnant had spread everywhere. He felt his heart drop because now everything was probably going to change. The moment he feared the most was finally here.

Now, Wang Lei will get busy building his family and Huang Dewei was going to be left behind. Huang Dewei was probably already out of the picture. He can never fit into Wang Lei and Xin Ying's family picture...He was an outsider... He somehow wanted to believe Wang Lei's words that he was not taking any revenge on him but his heart was too stubborn...When he reached Wang Lei's office chamber, Cheng told him his Majesty had already gone to meet Xin Ying and Huang Dewei's heart even dropped more. He felt restlessness spreading inside his body as he just nodded his head and came back to his room. Meanwhile, Wang Lei was shocked, surprised and happily looking at Xin Ying as he was confirming the news.

'Yes, I am pregnant with your child. It happens after we spread that night together.' Xin Ying confirmed as she blushed and Wang Lei nodded his head contented. He never planned that night or this child but he was not some jerk who will not take up his responsibility. That child will feel wanted and loved by him.

'Thank you very much...I will take full responsibility for this child and will take care of and love that child...I promise to be the best father to this unborn child and will take care of you as well. I am thankful to you Xin Ying.' Wang Lei said as he promised her and she looked at him and smile sadly because he only promise to love the child but not her. She knew he already told her that night to happen to fulfil his duty and he bear no feelings for her, but it still hurts. She also knows he would never love her since she already knew he loves Huang Dewei. You can never love two people at the same time nor you can love them equally.

'It is my pleasure to provide you child and this nation with its next Emperor.' Xin Ying said and Wang Lei just nodded his head when her door was opened as Wang Wei and Li Qiang entered inside. Her father walked toward her and happily hugged her over the news.

'You did it, my daughter. I am proud of you.' Li Qiang whispered to her and she just nodded his head as she knew he was happy about the power and money he was going to get from it. She said nothing...she could not even express her sadness and how hurtful it was knowing her husband do not love her and her father does not even care. Only if she would have a mother, she might have been able to express everything to her, but she lost her mother when she was very young. Wang Wei also expressed his happiness and congratulated them even though he knew about her pregnancy already.

However, when that news reached Chen Ju she was extremely angry and heartbroken. She was already in pain due to yesterday Huang Dewei's concubine ceremony and then they dropped another bomb on her head. She was full of hate and jealousy. She could not help and cursed Xin Ying and prayed her child would die. She wanted to destroy the whole world yet she was helpless. She had even started hating her life. All she wanted was Wang Lei's love and his child yet she was left empty-handed. At least she have no threat from Huang Dewei of giving birth to Wang Lei's children so she was hopeful that she might become the mother of the next Emperor but now even that was gone. It was snatched away from Xin Ying. She could not help, but cry and cursed other people's fate.

All the relatives and family friends of Xin Ying and Wang Lei came to congratulate her and Huang Dewei spread all day in his room. He did not see Wang Lei all day and he knew he was probably there busy with her. It was a piece of big news for everyone and even though half the people were not happy such as Chen Ju and An Cong's side of the family and half of them don't even care, they all still came to congratulate them.

Huang Dewei spread all day inside his room and later in the evening he decided he need to go and congratulate her. Even though he already has done it when they call and told him in private, but as his concubine, it was his duty to do it. He does not want to look ill-mannered and rude in front of other people since no one else knows that he already congratulated her in private except Wang Wei. To show other people he went, he took off his royal guard uniform, wore back expensive luxurious male concubine clothes and came out. He went to the back of the small garden in his residence and took out a few chine aster flowers and came out. These purple flowers were Xin Ying's favourite.

Huang Dewwei walked as he reached her residence and then he knock and entered inside. He stepped inside and looked around. He found the presence of tWang Lei, Wang Wei, Li Qiang, and Chen Ju all present there alongside Xin Ying. However, they all were sitting far away from her in the sitting area while Xin Ying was resting on the bed. He greeted them all first and looked towards Wang Lei for a second then away whereas Wang Wei looked toward him viciously and hatefully as he spoke up

'Why are you so late in coming to congratulate her? You just got to become a concubine yesterday and you already do not care about royal family traditions. She is Emperess who would always have high status than you. You should have come earlier.' Wang Wei said in a bitter tone and Huang Dewei just bowed down as he apologised then he walked towards Xin Ying. He greeted her then he gave her the flowers he was holding.

'Oh...these are my favourite flower.' Xin Ying as he got extremely delighted and Huang Dewei also smile

'I know.' Huang Dewei replied

'Thank you for coming...Sit down.' Xin Ying said as she asked him to sit down next to her on the bed. He hesitated but then he does not care about anyone...Wang Lei already knew so he moved and sat down. Everyone else was busy talking with each other and Xin Ying whispered talk to Huang Dewei so others would not hear except Wang Lei who could not hear but he was still looking toward them.

'I am actually happy you came. I did not expect you to come.' Xin Ying as she smile because she was genuinely happy.

'Why you did not expect me to come?' Huang Dewei asked surprised

'You and I once had a dream like this of building a family one day and now I am pregnant with someone else child who is also your man...this whole situation is such a mess.' Xin Ying said and Huang Dewei sighed as he moved and softly touched her hair like he always used to do when she got upset or emotional when they were dating, It bought back past beautiful memories.

'Don't worry about it.' Huang dewei said and Xin Ying looked up as her gaze met with Wang Lei who was looking at them with disliked expression. Xin Ying slowly moved away Huang Dewei's hand from her hair.

'That was probably because you deserved someone else who love you way more than I did.' Xin Ying said as she was looking at Wang Lei and Huang Dewei sighed thinking how wrong she was. He does not have anyone who loves him more than she did whereas seeing Wang Lei's jealousy over Huang Dewei, a tear rolls out her eyes. She knew she couldn't force feeling in or out of Wang Lei but it still was painful and hurtful.

'Why are you crying?' Huang Dewei asked softly

'I think my hormones are changing...I am sorry if I ever hurt you.' Xin Ying replied and Huang Dewei just smile when Wang Wei and Li Qiang's gaze fell on them talking and crying Xin Ying. They quickly stood up and stormed towards her and pulled Huang Dewei harshly away from her as he fell down on the ground

'What the hell you said to her that she is crying?' Wang Wei screamed as he glared at Huang Dewei while Xin Ying and Huang Dewei were both startled and shocked. Huang Dewei was also hurt when he fell down and Wang Lei run towards him and made him stand back up.

'You should get out of here...you made my daughter cry.' This time Li Qiang screamed

'Father, I am fine. He did nothing.' Xin Ying tries saying but nobody listened to her

'That's why I did not want someone as cheap as him to become part of the royal family.' Wang Wei said as he insulted him while Chen Ju was the one enjoying all of this again.

'Father, he did nothing.' Wang Lei said as he took his side while Huang Dewei pushed him away and came out from his hold. Wang Lei was hurt by his action. No matter how much Huang Dewei push him away, he was unable to get used to it. He always gets hurt by Huang Dewei's cold behaviour.

'I apologised.' He bow down as he ask for an apology then he turned over and quickly walked out of the room. His pride was hurt again. Life in a palace was tougher than he thought it would be. Wang Lei glared at his father and then he also walked out following him outside. Xin Ying could not help and felt guilty towards Huang Dewei, but she felt helpless. She caused him misery and pain yet again. Wang Lei followed after him as he entered his residence which was all empty. Since he said he wanted no maids, servants or bodyguards, his residence is usually all empty. He looked around for him in his room but he was not there. Then Wang Lei saw all light in the garden was on hence, he came into the garden and he found himself sitting down on the grass under the sun. Wang Lei slowly walked towards him and upon hearing footsteps he looked up; his gaze met with Wang Lei and he coldly looked away.

'Are you alright?' Wang Lei asked and Huang dewei looked back at him as he spoke up

'Yes, what will happen to me? I am getting used to it. You all people are exactly the same.' Huang Dewei said bitterly

'What should I do to make you believe that you are more than revenge to me?' Wang Lei said as he moved and sat down beside him while Huang Dewei said nothing.

'Are you hurt?' Wang Lei asked changing the topic and Huang Dewei just shook away his head

'Just leave me alone, his Majesty. I am already tired of this whole drama. I need some time alone.' Huang Dewei requested exhausted and sadly whereas Wang Lei looked towards him and then pulled him to turn over towards him

'I believe I already gave you enough alone time.' Wang Lei said when he pulled him and put him on his lap.

'Show me where you are hurt?' Wang Lei said as examined him everywhere and Huang Dewei was staring at him.

'I am not hurt physically...but emotionally you have really hurt me...I never think you would hurt me like this...I am never going to talk to you ever again.' Huang Dewei confessed as he hurtfully and distressed looked at him and Wang Lei stares at him then slowly moved and touched his lips. They both stared at each other...in complete silence... as slowly they felt sexual tension raising between them...Wang Lei trailed down his finger over Huang Dewei's lips then moved and departed his lips. He slides in his figure inside Huang Dewei's mouth and Huang Dewei felt butterflies inside his stomach. He could feel Wang Lei's finger inside his mouth and somehow it felt sexually appealing to Huang Dewei...Wang Lei slowly got hold of his tongue between his two fingers and pulled it out from his mouth. Huang Dewei felt his breath stop as he could feel Wang Lei's intense stare...Huang Dewei felt he was unable to move his body when Wang Lei slowly bend down and lick his tongue with his own tongue...Huang Dewei's eyes widen as Wang Lei let go of his fingers from his tongue and gently pressed his lips on his...Huang Dewei's hand went and tightly grabbed his shoulder when they slowly closed their eyes...Wang Lei departed his lips shoving his tongue inside his mouth as they kissed each other passionately, hungrily and lustfully yet with care.
