《Um...I ruined a Mafia fanfiction? KTH》4 wheel driving

I blasted out the large front door with a loud, 'bang', announcing to the outside fictional world that its queen had just figured out what the fuck she was gonna do. Outside, the weather was cool and the sun was shining. No more being locked up in Taehyung's stupid mansion; I was free. Fuck Yoongi, Fuck the story-line, and fuck the male-lead! I was going to create my own story!

I walked out into the courtyard, which was filled with all different sorts of cars, and breathing that smell of fresh air I realised, that I had no key for any of them. But wait-

I was the Rewriter!

I guessed that meant I could either just call the key down from the clouds or just manifest it or something. Quickly stepping down the staircase, I heaved in a long breath. "Welp," I began, "I would like a key for one of Taehyung's Lamborghinis." I held cupped my hands out and looked up as if I expected for the key to fall from the sky.

It did not.

I attempted it again. "A key, please."

Once again, no golden key fell from the heavens. Annoyed, I pulled my hands back to my sides, still looking to the cloudy sky above. "Alright then, have it your way!" I grumbled, jogging downstairs and past the lined up Lamborghinis I could have driven. As I walked, I looked back up at the sky. "I can't trust you anyway." I muttered, "You're probably in it with Yoongi too, huh?!"

I added, "Best friends forever with Mr Toothpaste head!"

I followed the long, limestone driveway until I reached the road outside. It was a strange thing for me, being on that road. I had only been out of the house a few times, and each time was with the members. It was ironic that I in real life I had been lonely and wanting escape, and now, here I was, surrounded with guys who thought I was the most beautiful girl in the world and enjoying the fact I was alone.

I quickly jogged along the road, knowing well that if a car came from out of nowhere and hit me that I'd be transported back to Taehyung's mansion by an infuriated Yoongi. I had messed up so many times that it seemed as if Yoongi doing that was my routine.

It was a little annoying that he was such a killjoy, though.

As I continued walking, I finally spotted a very expensive looking car fly right by me. My first victim.

I quickly ran after the car, panting from the sudden exercise I wasn't used to doing as I mouthed to them to pull over. The woman in the passenger seat looked like she was seeing a ghost. I watched as she reluctantly pulled over, seeming curious as to why I would be chasing her.

I followed to her door, where I mouthed for her to roll down the window. There was a slight hesitation in her hand as it pressed down on the button and the window came rolling down.

She looked up at me with a raised brow. "Can I help you?"

I nodded, possessively gripping unto the door latch with a careless, "Yep." I swung it open and proceeded to get inside of the car. The woman inside screamed in horror and slid back in her seat in an attempt to avoid me.

"Alright, now," I began, looking at her frightened face with intimidating eyes. (At least, I think they were intimidating.) "Get out of the car before I erase your existence." Thank goodness this isn't real life. I thought as I watched her stumble and stutter over her response, her once confused eyes now widening to the size of saucers.

"E-erase?"

"That's right." I grinned, my face contorting into a mocking pout. "No more little lady."

I watched as she quickly dashed out of the car at my words, her stiletto heels causing her to tumble on the road as she tried to flee from the robbery.

Satisfied, I clambered into the driver's seat and took off in the car. Things were starting to look up. Seeing as though there was now no purpose or storyline to go by, I thought I might as well just take the book for a joyride. Do things I could never do in real life.

I could do anything, with no real consequences. If I died, I'd be back in the mansion with Yoongi and no one would remember anything that had happened. If I got put in jail, no doubt Yoongi would rewrite the scene for me.

So the day was well spent with that in mind. I robbed a few banks by threatening the clerk's existence, bought food and played arcade games and forced someone at a nearby theme park to let me on a ride by myself – it was great. As far as I knew, no one had called the cops yet – though I'm unsure if the story even had cops – and everyone had done exactly my bidding.

Now, there was always one thing I wanted to try out, ever since being forced into the story. When I was staying at Taehyung's mansion, I was able to see mountains in the background. And what did that mean? Well...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Briar, what the hell are you doing?"
Yoongi appeared in the passenger seat of the car with his trademarked frown as I attempted to drive the very expensive sports car up the very steep mountain.
"I'm four-wheel driving." I answered, looking towards him as if it were the most normal thing in the universe. "Is there something wrong with that?"
Yoongi sighed in response; face palming as he slumped back into the seat. His hand drifted down his face as he groaned. I could hear him mumbling something quietly like my mother would do before she would absolutely blow up.
Instead of bursting into a fit of rage, however, Yoongi just sent me a glare.
"You know this isn't what you're meant to be doing."
I rolled my eyes as I pressed my foot to the gas harder in order for the vehicle to proceed up the mountain side at a quicker pace. "So what am I meant to be doing, huh? Marrying Taehyung?"
"Following the storyline."
"Following the storyline?! You already said I fucked it up!" I protested, putting the car into a lower gear. "Whats the point of doing it anyway?" I added, "What's going to happen after the story line is complete? I go back home after being trapped here under some stupid rip off BTS member whilst not being allowed to do what I want?!"
"No-"
"Oh wait," I paused, "That's right, you wouldn't even know because you're stuck in the story yourself." I sneered at him; watching as his dark eyebrows furrowed together in offense. He made no response to me so I kept going. "Besides, why was I even put here in the first place?" I threw my hands off the steering wheel and into the air, depicting my frustration. Yoongi's hand quickly grasped it as the car began to swerve off the dirt path it was climbing.
"If senorita perfecta Y/N had the storyline going fine and dandy, why did I need to be thrown in here?!"
Yoongi's simple answer was, "Because."
"See?!" I snapped, "No one even explains to me what's going on!" I ranted; stopping suddenly when I noticed Yoongi seemed less focused on what I was saying and seemed to be staring up through the windshield.
"Yoongi, what are you looking at?" I asked, visibly disappointed. "You're meant to be listening." He turned to me and pointed above, wordlessly.
It was then that I finally heard the commotion around us that my yells of frustration had drowned out. Sirens galore and helicopter blades spinning an infinity above us.
When I looked out the window beside me, not only could I see a plethora of blinking red and blue lights, but I could also see the large shadow of the helicopter perched above us. It only occurred to me then what I had just done.
I turned to Yoongi.
"Are you going to rewrite this one too?" I asked. He turned from looking through the windshield and his eyes, painted artistically with streaks of hatred, sent me exactly the message it always did.
I was stupid.
