《Out-Flirt Me - Anakin x Reader》Chapter 39- Falling

After explaining everything to Auren again, a ship was ready for the five of you to leave. It was just a small carrier meant to get you to the surface. Anakin got into the pilot's seat with Obi-Wan next to him and began the descent to Felucia.
Anakin flicked a few switches as we entered the atmosphere. But it wasn't long before we were being shot at. The first shot hit the right wing as soon as we left the clouds. The next Anakin dodged by a millimeter but we were still going to crash.
"Obi-Wan, pop the emergency landing gear!" He groaned as he tried to pull back the controls.
It was no use. We were going to crash into the surface. And more shots were hitting us every few seconds. Obi-Wan pressed a button and you saw a clearance of trees come into view. Everyone braced themselves as you grew closer to the clearance.
Shutting your eyes tightly, you blocked out the sight but not the noise. You could still hear the trees scratching the silver metal. You could still hear the landing gear roughing up the dirt. And you could still feel your head crashing into the seat in front of you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Y/n, Y/n please wake up."
A hand rested on the side of your face as you felt something around your shoulder. You tried to move your head but it hurt so you reached out with your hand.
A chuckle you would know anywhere came from Anakin as you grabbed his face. "Can you open your eyes for me, Angel?"
Slowly, you lifted your eyelids and smiled up and Anakin who was cradling you. His features were made up of worry and relief. While your pointer finger tougher his forehead. A small splotch of blood coated his left temple yet he smiled at you.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah, love, I'm fine."
"What about everyone else?"
"They should wake up soon." He looked behind him, "Ashoka and Auren got thrown on top of each other." He looked around the seat in front of you two, "Obi-Wan hit his head on the console, but they both should be fine."
You nodded but then threw your hand to your forehead when it hurt. The impact of your hand made it hurt all the worse.
"Y/n," He humorously sighed. You knew that he found it funny but that he wouldn't laugh at you while your hurt.
"I'm fine, I'm fine." You tried to sit up and he helped you, "Let's wake up the others."
"First, we should get you cleaned up. That way you won't scare them."
You scoffed and punched his shoulder but he just laughed. So maybe he would laugh at you while your hurt. Anakin got you to stand up and he walked you through the destroyed ship.
"You really need to stop crashing our ships."
He defended, "I'm a great pilot! Both these last times have been out of my control."
"You could be avoided that first shot," You teased.
"Maybe you hit your head harder than I thought."
You chuckled as he grabbed some fabric from something. He started on your forehead, lightly wiling away the blood as if you might break. He followed the stream down your nose and your right eye so you closed your eyes again. Continuing down your cheek and down to your jawline, he finished by your collarbone.
"That was a lot longer than I thought."
He chuckled and placed a kiss on your left cheek as he through the rag to the floor.
"You missed."
He raised both his brows in surprise before lifting your chin toward him.
When you could feel his breath, he whispered, "I do everything on purpose, sweetheart."
He kissed you lightly, keeping your injury in mind. His hand resided on your chin and yours played with his curls. You felt his smile before he pulled away and held you close.
"So you crashed the ship on purpose?"
His eyes narrowed playfully and tilted his head, "That wasn't my fault."
"Mmmm, I think it was."
He chuckled and led you back to the cockpit. Ashoka and Auren were stirring on the floor but Obi-Wan was still out cold. You kneeled next to Ashoka and put a hand on her shoulder. She had her head on Auren's chest and her eyelids started to flicker.
In a second, she opened her eyes and looked up at you. "Master Y/n? What happened?"
She groaned and you helped her sit up as Anakin explained from behind you. Ashoka's movement made Auren open her eyes and she just rolled over to look at you. She heard the end of Anakin's explanation but still looked confused.
"We crashed," You stated simply and she lightly nodded while holding her head.
Anakin left your side and walked up to his old master. He rolled him onto his back and began trying to wake him up. You sat in your thoughts, collecting yourself for a few minutes when you heard Obi-Wan awaken.
He groaned and Anakin got him to sit up, "Y/n, come here real quick."
You hummed in response while walking over there.
"Hold onto him."
"Anakin," He mumbled, "I'm perfectly fine to hold myself up."
Anakin chuckled and let go of his shoulder. Obi-Wan began to fall back as his eyes went wide. Anakin caught him before bringing him back up and letting you take his spot.
"Try not to be so stubborn, Master." Anakin mocked before walking away.
Obi-Wan rolled his eyes and looked to you, "Don't look at me, you raised him."
He just sighed and closed his eyes for a second. Anakin came back with another piece of cloth that he got from the Force knows where. He kneeled next to you and wiped the blood from Obi-Wan's forehead. Then he got his nose and followed it down his chin. He couldn't entirely clean his beard but it was better.
Both your injuries were similar except yours was mainly on the right side. The girls must've braced each other's falls because they didn't seem to be bleeding anywhere. Anakin stole your spot again and helped Obi-Wan stand up, since you needed to get out of the ship.
Whoever shot you down may see you as a target and it was best to leave. You pulled the girls up from the floor and walked out with them. The planet was beautiful with small flowers and plants coating the orange-tinted grass. Al around you there was a forest with tall green trees.
But in the far distance, there was a village. Probably where the locals that were having problems were. Nothing seemed drastically wrong from this far. But it was getting dark and you couldn't see the details.
"We need to get shelter for the night," Anakin spoke as he came out of the ship.
You replied, "It's best if we just make some here. We shouldn't deal with the village until morning."
Ashoka walked over to a tree branch that had been taken down by the crash landing.
"Yeah, we could make this work. As long as those tents are still in the ship."
You smiled and walked back into the ship, staying in the destroyed cargo hold. There was a fallen over shelf with boxes surrounding it. A green box with "shelter" written on it in Aurebesh. You pulled it out and dragged it down the airstair, finally opening it when you exited the ship.
The box's lid came off in your hands and the tent sat on top. Auren and Ashoka took it, walking toward a few fallen trees. Next was multiple packs of food and water. You left those in there for when you would need them.
You put the lid back on and carried it over to where Auren and Ashoka were setting up the tent. Obi-Wan was leaning up against a tree from the ground while Anakin walked over to help the girls. You smiled as you realized that this was the most domestic version of them you had seen. Even if that meant you were stranded in a foreign world.
The tent was up and you set the box inside, taking out the emergency blankets. You laid them on the ground as you asked,
"Anakin?"
"Yes?" He peaked his head in the tent door.
"Can you go see if there's more blankets on the ship?"
He nodded with a smile and walked off. You finished laying out the blankets and sat back for a second. But you were interrupted by your comm. It buzzed and alerted you to answer whoever was calling, so you did.
When you pressed the button a small blue Master Kio came up. "Where are you?" She asked quickly.
You took in her appearance for a second. She had no physical wounds but she looked exhausted.
"Are you alright, Master?"
"Yes, Y/n. I'm fine, but where are you?"
You tilted your head to the side, not understanding her urgency, "I'm on Felucia, we were sent on a last-minute mission."
"You need to get off that planet, now."
"But Master-"
"This isn't time for an argument, Y/n. You need to get out of there."
"I can't, Master. Our ship was shot down."
Realization flashed behind her eyes before she continued, "You need to find a way. Or else you could die-"
She was cut off by gunfire and she pulled out her saber as she backed away. It flashed differently than normal but you couldn't get a good view as the hologram disappeared.
"What's going on?" You heard your love say from outside the tent.
Standing up, you walked out and faced the village as he was doing. A building, if not more than one, was on fire while screams traveled through the force. You tried to step forward, you wanted to run to the village and help them. But Anakin grabbed your arm.
Looking back to him, he shook his head and said, "We can't do anything now. They'll have to survive until tomorrow."
He held sorrow in his eyes. Not only for them but for you. He hated holding you back like this, hated controlling you. But both of you knew that you would've gotten yourself killed helping them. So you tilted your head and went back into the tent.
A second later, he brought in the blankets he was holding. He helped you lay them across the floor while squishing a few for pillows. You worked synchronously, not even having to communicate. Eventually, everything looked good and you went into the same room as Anakin.
He smiled up at you from the blankets on the floor. And waved his hand to you, "Come here"
He patted the floor next to him and you sat down. You stared forward but he put a finger under your chin and turned you to face him.
"I'm sorry," He whispered, only for you to hear.
"It's not your fault, none of this is. I was curious so i went outside."
He almost said something but stopped himself, instead he said, "I heard your conversation with your Master."
"How much?" You leaned your head on his shoulder.
"Just the end," He twisted a strand of your hair with his finger, "Why did she want you to leave here?"
Letting him comfort you, you replied, "I don't know, but she was exhausted. As if she had been fighting. But she didn't say anything about a mission."
"She must know something about this planet that we don't. Maybe it's about the inhabitants."
"Could be. I think we should sleep on it and I'll call her in the morning."
"I think that's a good idea," He stood up while stretching his arms, "How are we gonna split up the rooms?"
"You and Obi-Wan can take that one. Ashoka, Auren, and I can share the other."
"That works, except for the fact that i won't be next to you." He smirked and helped you up from the ground.
"Oh please, you'll be in the next room over. Plus that would be to suspicious."
"Like they don't already know."
He was right, Auren even said she wanted to be your bridesmaid, "Well, we don't need to make them uncomfortable."
"Who would be uncomfortable?" He held your face in his hand, glancing at your lips every few seconds.
"Me, I would be very uncomfortable."
Obi-Wan stood tiredly at the door with his eyes half closed. You backed up from Anakin and let his hand fall.
"Sorry, Obi-Wan." You muttered as he walked in and into the room that he and Anakin would share.
Anakin chuckled and you slapped him on the arm. It wasn't enough to hurt him but he still grabbed his arm dramatically.
"See."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
During the evening, Ashoka and Auren had come on and joined you. They laid on either side of you and stared at you. It didn't make you uncomfortable, just unsure of what was happening.
Keeping your eyes closed, you asked, "What is it?"
There was a sigh to your left, where Ashoka was. "Oh, nothing."
"Please, I know you two. If something wasn't up, you would both be passed out."
"Would not." Auren defended.
You opened your eyes, "Would too."
"Would not.
"Would-"
"Shhh!"
Auren and you looked over to Ashoka who held an annoyed look on her face.
"Sorry." You both apologized as she chuckled.
"Do you want to know why we're looking at you?"
"Well, yeah."
Ashoka and Auren looked over you and at each other smiling.
"When are we going to go shopping for bridesmaid dresses?"
You groaned and grabbed the blanket from under your head. Throwing it onto your face, you tried to block them out. But they poked at your arms.
Eventually, you pulled it off your face, "I don't know, I don't even have a dress."
"You don't?"
"No, he proposed like right before we left."
"Well, we can deal with that later. Does anyone know but us?"
"Ummm. Obi-Wan, and maybe Padme. But she doesn't know the current situation she just wanted us to get together earlier."
A few seconds passed of them taking in the information. Then Ashoka gasped out of nowhere, which made you both look at her.
"Sorry, but I have a great idea."
You sat up and asked, "What is it?"
"I should be my Master's best man, well best woman if you wanna get technical."
Smiling, you thought about it. Anakin would have his padawan by his side and you would have yours. It was a cute idea. You pushed yourself up from the floor and walked to the door flap.
"Where are you going?"
"Shh, I'll be right back."
Pressing a finger to your lips, you snuck through the tent. Then you made it to Anakin and Obi-Wans door. Pushing it open, you saw Obi-Wan passed out next to Anakin. While he lay awake. He saw the flap open and tilted his head to you standing there.
Waving your hand toward you, he stood up and followed you out the flap. He rubbed his eye as you looked up at him and placed a hand on each of his shoulders.
"I have an idea."
"Mhmm. Okay."
"You should ask Ashoka to be your best man."
His eyes were half closed but you could tell he was listening, "My padawan?"
"Yeah, 'cause Auren's going to be my bridesmaid. So Ashoka could be one of your groomsmen."
"Mhmm. She's gonna be my best man. She's gonna make the best best man in the galaxy."
You chuckled and responded, "Yeah, she will. But now you need to go to sleep, I'm sorry I woke you."
"It's alright, I got to see your gorgeous face."
Smiling, you pushed him back toward the flap. But he stopped right in front of it. He turned around and muttered,
"Kiss."
You stood on your toes and pressed a quick kiss to his lips. Pulling away quickly to let him sleep.
"Weak."
"Well you need sleep, so go on."
He groaned and walked back through the flap. As soon as he got to the floor, he passed out. You chuckled and walked back to your room. The girls were sat up, talking about someone. But when you walked in they stopped and turned to you.
"So?"
"Anakin says you'll make the best best man."
