《Judah Judas Adventures》Chapter 32 - Escaping the Danger Zone - Part 2

The monstrous spider and rat were about to take Julius down, but Hans, who was in time to save his teammate, has launched a spell named "Oblivion", right into that rat. The spell Hans has launched, made that rat fly a few meters away from them. While the giant rat and spider combination was sent flying, he has broken so many trees on his way to the destination, which was just a river filled with electric patterns. Which most likely has killed that creature by releasing a ton of electric shocks to that beast.
Julius and Hans, having no time, decided to leave the area by running because that sound of trees getting destroyed could attract many more enemies or even monsters like that one. Julius and Hans reach a gorge, and there, they both conclude, to find another alternative to be able to escape safely. Julius and his colleague Hans go to another path that leads to an area I did not expect. The path the two took for more than a few minutes leads to a village, but that village was not just any village, it was the very village that had been attacked by cannibals and burned to the ground. It's just that the weird thing about that place is that it's whole and it doesn't look like it caught fire at all. This dream is probably stranger than I thought it would be. Anyway, the two adventurers go down the valley holding on to each other because they are both injured.
When Hans and Julius descended the valley, they entered the village that had been burned by flames and attacked entirely by cannibals before I and Fiona were about to defend the place and kill every cannibal out of there. Those who wander the village in search of a healing shop, a shop run in most cases by wizards who possess top healing skills and are used more often by adventurers, bounty hunters, or knights if they are in serious condition and not they have a magician or wizard among them. The two adventurers easily find such a building, which will help them get to their feet as quickly as possible and fight like an energetic knight at sixteen or thirty. The two of them entered that building, and there, they found a wizard who owns that place, which is currently trying to cure a little blonde girl, the one that I saved in the real world a few hours ago, which looks like she got infected a bite of those sick wolves.

"Luckily, you'll survive." says the wizard to that little girl while he is curing with both hands which holds some awesome healing magic.
"Thank you, Doctor." says the little girl getting off from the place at the Doctor's command and leaving his bed and then going to her home.
The wizard saw Julius and Hans, and then he said to them, they can go to the rooms and make a bed, where they will have to relax a bit until de Wizard Medic will cure them.
The wizard, who deals with healing, heals the two in a short time, after which he tells them that they can leave without any problems, which Julius and Hans did because those two need to go to the safe zone where their army is assembling, but they did not leave the village with a carriage or something, they have left the village traditionally, walking. They decided to walk out of that village for some reasons, but they were afraid if the one who will drive the carriage could be an enemy spy, or a cannibal in disguise, or worse, a guy who is incompetent in thinking.
The two adventurers leave the village and take a path, which was most likely made by so many carts that even the God of Travel forgot who or what kind of race passed through. Hans and Julius were walking in peace, and while those two were cured they decided to talk to each other.
"Hey! Have you heard about Henderson ?" ask Hans to Julius?
"You mean that jerk who cannot even swing a squire sword? Or the other one who is working in cleaning horse stable in the Kingdom?" ask Julius to Hans.
"The jerk one... He hired a guy from Neplalos Mountains."
"Neplalos Mountains... I have never heard of those mountains."
"Well, they were located far, far, far away from our Kingdom. I heard the warriors there can fight without weapons using their bare hands and even their weight, and the one Henderson has hired it so fat, that it could probably even beat Big Gus at a contest about eating."

After he said that, I was thinking, did those two know Big Gus? How did they know him? They are war teammates, friends, or just neighbours... Man, I gotta ask Big Gus about those two warriors because now I am curious about what is their deal and why they appear in my dreams without a good or bad reason.
The two adventurers walked for a while until they reached the place where they wanted to arrive. It seems that their safe place is a small neighbourhood where war tents are set up in which knights, squires, and magicians live freely until battle orders appear. Hans and Julius were about to enter that area, but two knights are guarding the entrance that stops them by extending their katana swords to the two. Those guards asked them their names, what camp they belonged to, and what their purpose was to be here. Julius told them that they had been attacked when they went to investigate an area, which seems to be completely occupied by traps and enemies.
These two soldiers ask Julius where the rest are because when they went to investigate that area, there were not only two, there were several. Julius, feeling sad, tells those knights that the enemies who attacked them were not the enemy army they were facing right now, but a tribe of cannibals, who were spreading traps to lure the human prey. And those cannibals kidnapped the twenty-five female and male soldiers who were sent to investigate the place, even if they were dead because those traps certainly killed them. Another soldier asked them what those traps were like, and Julius told them that the traps were made up of the famous bear trap, the poisonous spikes that can pierce even the strongest shoes made of metal, and a kind of sleeping dust that will make them sleep for their entire life.
Hans could not know these details that Julius had brought out, because, to remember, the wizard was wounded in the leg by one of those traps set by those people thirsty for human flesh. The soldiers were interested in these details that the two warriors shared, so he let them enter this safe area to rest and communicate the report to the General. But even as those soldiers entered this camp, everything began to shine brightly for a few moments, until I heard a voice shout, "Judah! Judah!" Wake up, lad!". I opened my eyes and at my face, I saw the face of the ones who had made me leave that land o dreams, it was Big Gus, who was eating breakfast while he was looking at me while I try to get up from the bed.
"Good morning, fella!" says Big Gus eating a piece of chicken meat. "Have you slept well?"
"Kinda... Hey! I know this is direct and crazy, but, I had a dream about two guys named Julius and Hans who were coming to a camp, and on the way there, they were talking about you."
Big Gus, dropped his meat piece, he looks shocked and me and then he asks me:
"Did you say Hans and Julius came back to our camp?"
"Um... Yeah. Why?"
"Judah... Those two guys... Are a good team in combat. But I thought they were dead in that expedition."
"No, they weren't, just the one named Hans was injured at his left leg."
"I see... After we end our punishment, we will go back to camp and talk to them. You will most likely meet them in reality, instead of a dream. By the way, did they find something interesting there?"
"Traps. A lot of traps who were laying by cannibals."
"Damm those cannibals... I hate those weirdos who eat their own race just because they are sick of eating normal food."

Maker of Fire
On a world where magic kept civilization firmly in the bronze age, the Gods dropped an accountant and a mining engineer to start a political and industrial revolution. They wanted enlightened governance and a fast track to the iron age. They got indoor plumbing, paper airplanes, a cranky queen, and one very grumpy prophet. Dramatis Personae Aylem was a bookkeeping student when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as the greatest mage ever known, born into the ruling class of gigantic, magic-wielding humans. The Gods expect her to conquer the world and introduce double-entry accounting. Though Queen and numerical reformer, world conquest is stalled because everyone is scared of her and she doesn't like war. Emily was a retired engineer when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as one of the enslaved class of small, magicless humans. The Gods expect her to drag the world out of the bronze age. Though she's already recreated matches and wrought iron, introducing technology isn't going well because she was born a slave (oops) and having escaped, wants nothing to do with so-called "civilization." Asgotl was a whale when he died. The Gods reincarnated him as a griffin and expect him to have the same role he played in his previous life: to keep a reluctant prophet from walking off the job. If only they had remembered to tell him about it. Revised update schedule will be once a week on Saturdays, noonish Mountain Time (in North America)

Earth's First Dungeon
Reginald Montgomery was a high class Rules Lawyer, specializing in the 'art' of Min-Maxing a Character. He had been the secret behind the ability of the Guild 'Eternal Gamer' being able to obtain the World First Clears of various MMOs for the last five years. The political entities of the world had hidden the imminent approach of a gigantic meteor, of similar size to the one that theoretically wiped out the dinosaurs, until it was able to be spotted by high powered astronomical telescopes. The United Nations sends nukes into a crater located deep on the meteor, breaking it into millions of smaller fragments, except for around two areas, where there was a building that looked like an old school Roman temple and one where there was a giant metallic cube. The cube crashed into Reginald's backyard, and his 'gamer' senses were itching at the chance of supremely valuable loot. Upon investigating, he is injected with a control crystal for a 'Construction Core', but when it releases an extremely high density of pressurized mana, his body seizes up and the Core draws his mind into it before merging the control crystal back into the Core and retreating into the Cube and digging itself deeper. Two months later, Reginald becomes aware again, only to find out that nothing is as it was and he is now the Earth's First Dungeon...
