The day was ending and drops of sweat fell down Ezer's nose, he couldn't find the truth of the mural, but he was sure there was something he couldn't understand.

Every time he repeated the steps, they triggered the headaches, the images and memories of the past. At times he thought he saw the woman smiling at him in the distance or two men standing next to him whispering their hatred.

The next morning, he imitates the mural that has the woman engraved defending herself from the wind. Without a sword, Ezer picks up a stick and begins practicing the moves. In doing so, he notes the similarity between the steps in the first mural, adding the movements of the arms in the second.

“What would the exalted elves think when they saw someone copying their movements with a simple stick.” Ezer smiles to himself and continues practicing the movements.

By nightfall, Ezer is completely exhausted and decides to sleep on the spot looking at the paintings until the dreams comes to him. The sky is starry and the weather is warm so you don't need to light a fire.

The next morning, he imitates the movements of the third and last painting, at one point it seems that the wind around him is flowing differently, but the sensation does not last long and is followed by a headache so severe that it paralyzes his movements and leaves him on the ground for a few minutes.

"No matter how hard I try... I get nothing." He sits on the floor.

"If it weren't for these pains... if it weren't for that woman... if it weren't for those two men! If it wasn't...!” Ezer hits the ground with every sentence.

Inside he considers giving up, but notices something that was before his eyes all along.

“The water in the pond doesn't move… not even because of the wind, it seems static in time.” Ezer walks over and sees his reflection in the water.

The face of a child who shows clear signs of maturity is reflected, his eyes are darker, and the depth of his gaze has completely changed from the past due to everything he had to live with until now. At that moment he remembers Rel's words.

"When you understand the reason for that woman's smile... the pain will go away and you will be able to use magic. That's what he told me, what he believed.”

Ezer takes a deep breath and removes all his clothes before entering the pond. The water comes up to his navel when sits cross-legged. The temperature of the water was neither cold nor hot, it seemed as if it had no temperature at all or even existed.

With Ezer in the middle, the surface of the water begins to move pushed by a sudden wind that focuses on his body.

At that moment, Ezer's world changes, never to return to the way it was before.
