Elijah pulls up to Paiges house. Even during this hard time, he pulls the door open for me. I kiss his cheek. He rushes toward the door and knocks harshly.

"Please, open the door." A startled woman opens the door. "I'm sorry, Megan. My daughter is here. Paige didn't tell me. Is it ok if you go home now?" The woman nods. "I will pay you extra, Megan."

"I didn't know Mr. King. Thank you so much." Elijah kisses her cheek and hugs her. Megan hugs him back and begins to pack.

After she leaves, Elijah runs upstairs. I try to follow him but struggle because of his big steps. "Miya, daddy's here." I hear Miya make sounds. Elijah picks her up and hugs her for dear life.

"Daddy," she mumbles with a toy in her mouth. Elijah tickles her belly. "My little girl." I check the time. It's 9:00 pm.

"Elijah, I'm gonna make some food." He nods and continues to focus on the little girl. I smile before leaving the door cracked.

After cooking Pasta, I place it on the table. I make Miya a plate and place it on her seat. "Baby," I yell. Elijah rushes downstairs, searching the kitchen.

"I'm sorry, did I scare you?" Elijah chuckles and embraces me. I relax in his arms. He rubs my butt and kisses up my neck.

"You didn't." He gasps a bit when he sees the table.

"You did research about some foods babies can eat?" I nod. He kisses all over my face causing me to giggle.

"Baby." He stops kissing my face but reaches for one last kiss on my lips.

"God, I'm lucky to have you," he whispers as he caresses my face. I bite my lip. Fuck, I couldn't contain the heat between my legs.

"You need to stop looking so hot. I'll take you on the kitchen floor." My face drops. He begins to chuckle.

"We will have our moment later. I can't seem to get enough of you." He adds. His hands trace down my hips and butt.

"Ok, we need to stop. You have daddy duties to attend." He nods and releases me. I sit at the table, waiting for him to bring Miya.

After a few hours of Miya throwing food onto me, we all sat in the living room. Miya sits on Elijahs lap and I'm wrapped in his other arm.

Elijah begins to read, Little red riding hood.

"What big teeth you've got."

"Grrrrr." Miya growls causing Elijah and I to laugh. Elijah tickles her belly.

"No, daddy," she giggles. Elijah stops and kisses her cheek. "Can I have a red dress like that one?" She asked, pointing at the book.

"A robe?" She nods very fast causing her to fall back a little. "Woah, there Miya!"

Miya hops from his knee and begins to play with her dolls. Elijah lays back, pulling me on his chest. "Thank you, Jada. I wouldn't be able to do this without you," he whispers to me.

"When I was alone, I would go sleepless. It's hard to admit this but I would cry too." Elijah looks down at his lap. "Honey, you can talk to me about this stuff," I say, raising his chin.

"You mean the world to me, Elijah." He pecks my lips but is interrupted by a small voice. "Ewwww, cooties," Miya yells. We both laugh.

Miya finally falls asleep. Elijah carries her upstairs. Miya was limp in his arms. I smile hearing her small snores. Elijah sets her down, placing the blanket over her. He kisses her forehead and slowly walks out.

Elijah devours my lips while caressing the small of my back. "We'll have our moment back at home."

"Yeah?" He nods and bites his lip. "This date went to shit." We both giggle softly, trying to keep quiet.

After cleaning up the kitchen, Elijah gets a call from a designer. He rushes around the room, putting on clothes. "Shit, we have to leave."

"Whose gonna take care of Miya?" I ask with a worry undertone.

"Delilah, Paige's cousin, is visiting for the weekend. Luckily she isn't as close to Paige as she is with me. I'll call her to babysit her for the meantime." I nod my head while crossing my arms.

Elijah quickly calls Delilah and within an hour or so she appears at the front door. I was nervous that she would judge me but she was quick to befriend me. Elijah and I rushed out the front door after our goodbyes. He first dropped me off at my apartment. His lips linger onto mine for a while causing me to giggle. "Didn't you say you needed to go?" I question, distancing my lips. "Just one more," he says before kisses my lips and dips me. I squeal and laugh. He pecks my lips one last time and walks out. I'm released from his arms and he rushes towards the door. "Bye!" He yells. "I'll make it up to you. I promise I will."

I say goodbye before slipping into the shower to get ready for bed.
