Finally

It's my last day in the villa

I can finally put a stop to all this pretending that I like that piece of shit

Messing with him actually exhausted me.

But even so,it's all worth it.That imbecile is wrapped all around my fingers.And when that little girl sees that,her world will fall apart and she'll be in even more despair.

I'm now checking my luggage to see if I have everything I need

Countess Jubel mentioned earlier that the asshole is waiting for me at the entrance so I'm making him wait on me

That just shows he's really hooked and my plan worked

Now I can be as much of a brat as I want and he'll just turn a blind eye to it because of he's hope of us getting closer again

I called for servants to bring out my luggage and I made my way for the entrance of the villa

When I finally saw the entrance,I saw the prick actually waiting for me there

He must have heard my footsteps because he turned around as soon I was in the staircase

He smiled up at me so I smiled back

I had to keep this up until we've returned to the palace

I descended down the stairs and he actually walked to the end of the stairs just to help me down

He offered his hand to me and I was about to take it until an idea came to me

I walked down to his side and grabbed onto his arm

He was surprised but he just smiled it off

"Shall we get going now,Navier?"

"Yes,your majesty"

"Have we not agreed to call eachother with our names?"

"Excuse me,I'm still not used to it yet.I need more time"

"Don't worry about it,Navier.We'll have plenty of time back at the palace"

I looked down and tightened my hold on his arm

"Ah...yes,in the palace"I gloomily answered him intentionally to make him worry and it seemed to work when his face turned all worried

"Let us go now.The carriage is waiting"

I avoided his words and started walking out of the door

He followed suit and I kept staring ahead

When we were at the carriage,he helped me up to get inside.When I sat down,I was surprised he sat down next to me but I didn't show it

The carriage started and we were finally leaving

I grabbed into his arm and leaned into him

I sighed and acted exhausted

"Are you tired,Navier?"

"Not really.Im just thinking about all the work that have been piled up on our absence.I'll have to work on it as soon as we arrive"

"You're still thinking about work,Navier. If it weren't for this trip,I'm afraid you would have buried yourself in work"

I giggled

"Well it's my duty to work as the Empress.Im doing this for the Empire that we built for our future.I also want to help you ofcourse"

"I know and I really appreciate it Navier.I just wish you would tone it down with your work"

"Well maybe I will when you take half of them"I playfully said to him

"But ofcourse I can't let you do that.You have to be the one to 'tone it down' as what the doctor said"

We were chuckling and having fun until I went quiet and I decided to be all serious

I felt the jackass perk up as if he was so happy being called by his name

But I need to sew discord in his mind and plant more ideas in it to mess up his thoughts even more

"When we arrive in the palace,we will be the Empress and Emperor again.You know what that means right?"

"Yes,I know.We will have to get back to our roles and that means you..."

I could sense the distraught in his voice and that made me satisfied internally

"I hope you can understand,Sovieshu.I have to be like that in order to fulfill my role as the Empress.That means I can't act as freely anymore with you in the palace unlike when we were in the villa where it was just us two together and no responsibilities"

"Do we really have to go back to the way it was?You don't have to keep being so hard on yourself"

I let go of his arm and faced him.We were directly facing eachother's faces and he was wearing a pained expression.I took that chance to hold his cheek and he used his other hand to hold onto that hand.

Im about to say something very serious and painful so I have to be extra affectionate.

"This is how it must be.We have our roles to play and duties to fulfill.I will apologize to you now in advance if I ever act coldly and distant with you again.But just know,it's that way I can strive being a great Empress for this Empire that we have worked together to take care of and I wish you too would do your best for the Empire that we have worked together to build for our future"

He looked at me painfully and nodded at my words.He leaned in to my hand and then grabbed my hand infront of him.

He kissed the back of my hand and looked at me

"Navier,from now on,I will do my best to understand you more and your ways.I will work hard for our Empire and for our future together.I won't disappoint you anymore"

I smiled up at him and before he could do anything I leaned into his arm

"Let's...stay this way while we still can"

I closed my eyes to send the message I want to rest like this

I'm disgusted and cringed out by my own words but atleast their useful and effective

Im only saying them so I can continue being cold and distant with him while doing and saying whatever I want and he'll just let it pass

Then out of nowhere,this son of a bitch had the audacity to hold my head and kissed it

And I don't have any rights to blame him cause I did drove him to be that way

I have to endure this until we've arrived in the palace

This is the last time I'll act close with him and I'll finally put an end to this charade for his attention
