She was shocked by what was happening currently in front of her. She hasn’t expected this young boy in front of her to be awake by now. She expected him to be unconscious for a least a week or more and even when he came to, he shouldn’t be able to move his body this much. But seems like she still underestimated this young boy in front of her. He seem like someone who has just fainted and woken up by the way he was behaving right now which was shocking to the extreme even for Sophia.

She even thought about the fact that maybe the injuries were making him act unconsciously and his brain was perhaps damaged from all that had happened, hence she spared no effort as she ran a check-up on him while Marian was once again pushed to the side.

The checkup didn’t last that long and from all the checks she ran over Andrew, he seems fine. This was the first time in a long while that her prediction was wrong ever since being a professional doctor, so she wore a confused look on her face.

She asks Andrew a few questions which he answers fluently while looking at her awkwardly. The questions includes what gender he was, how many fingers was she holding, what his name was and the rest.

Seeing the awkward look Andrew levels at her, she coughs dryly and no sooner ends her questioning session. She left the room once again for the family pair, after which she wasted no time as she sent a message to Olivia.

Perhaps she could get the answer she was looking for from her, Olivia on getting the news, rushes down to the hospital to see Sophia. Andrew has performed the same miracle after all in the forest after he was stabbed repeatedly by Edson, Sophia was shocked by such a revelation as Olivia had skipped on that part when formerly detailing the actions of this young boy.

Olivia just narrates the occurrence briefly from which Sophia could try picturing the events which took place at that time and were truly shocked.

“If what you said is the truth, then this boy is unique in his way”, Sophia says with a shocked expression. Olivia just smiles having found that to be the truth for a while now.

After all, being able to handle the sword which she had given to Andrew already went to show how special he was. This boy has always put her in shock, be it his ability to survive, and adapt or his quick reasoning during deadly situations. So by this point, she was already numb to what he could and couldn’t do and she has even considered recruiting him for the army but didn’t know if he would turn down her proposal as he has never given her a speaking chance, and she was kind of pissed off with that mouth of his which has always blabbered about useless stuff, desecrating the meaning of any kind of conversation about to be had.

They quickly rounded off their conversation and they both went to see Andrew who was currently being fed fruits by Marian. Although it won’t be able to fully satiate his hunger, it was currently what his body needed at this moment as he hadn’t taken anything for a long while and taking anything too solid would send his digestive system all the way jumbling. He was quietly chomping down on the fruits, which were a little bit different from that which was on earth, but they all performed the same functions on the body. Olivia came to the room at this moment, seeing this romantic pair, Eve has long since gone home since she would feel left out due to what was currently happening.

On Olivia entering the room, Andrew's eyes become wide as if seeing a lost relative and perhaps, if he wasn’t in pain due to the injuries, would have jumped out of bed to hug her.

What came out of his mouth wasn’t anything like thanks or apology though, he asks, “I heard you are currently in possession of all my coins. Would you mind giving them to me? I am fine now after all, so I would be able to take care of them myself”.

On hearing such words, the room was silent all of a sudden. Olivia and Sophia were lost for words and all that they had planned to say got stuck in their mouth, unable to be voiced out. Even Marian was shocked at what was being said and fails to notice that Andrew was currently waiting to be fed the next slice of fruit.

‘Was that the only thing he was bothered about?’, that was what was going through all their heads at this time. They even thought that the reason he woke up was due to the coins. His tenacity to stay alive perhaps came from his love for his money. Meanwhile what was going through Andrew’s head was almost the same, ‘Now that am awake, I can’t risk my money being in the hands of someone else. One’s wealth is always safe with the owner after all. I would have to count it all again to ensure that she hasn’t spent a single penny from it’.

He hasn’t forgotten one of his major drives in this world was to be rich, although he has gotten over the past habit of being stingy with his spending, that doesn’t mean he could just leave money for anyone, as he understood the kind of danger he had to put himself through just to accumulate that huge amount of wealth and prevented it from falling into the hands of others.

After a period of processing what Andrew has just said to her, Olivia’s face couldn’t help getting ugly, he didn’t even say anything like thanks of any sort and instead went directly to his money.

Andrew seeing her face being ugly didn’t feel bad about what he said at all and just stares at her with a questioning look on his face as if waiting for her reply to his question.

She breathes in to calm herself before replying, “I don’t mind giving you back your money but the money for your medical bills would have to be subtracted first”. Her reply causes Andrew to stare at her awkwardly. She was feeling smug inwardly seeing the look on Andrew’s face, she thought that such words would take him down a notch or two but she was bound to be disappointed as Andrew says with a tone as if questioning if she was sick in her head, “Huh? What bills are you talking about?”. “What about the bills for your treatment? Who would pay for that?”, she says as she frowns almost about to hit this boy in front of her.

“Well, since you asked that way. I guess I have no choice on it then”, he says shaking his head. ‘Well, that would make you learn how to talk to your elders then’, she says in her head while a victorious smile appears on her face.

“Well, I didn’t ask to be put in the hospital after all. You just made that decision on your own without seeking my approval. If you had just left me where I was, I would have recovered either way just that it would have taken me longer. And if am to pay for the medical bills then you ought to pay for the lives of your troops I have saved then”, Andrew says everything shamelessly.

Those words caused an upheaval in the way she thought about Andrew, she had thought that this boy after being taken care of to this degree would at least feel some kind of gratitude and would show her some respect but seems like nothing has changed and the injury has made him more sharp-tongued than he formerly was.

Olivia was not able to take it anymore and thought of abandoning this boy to his own devices, what he does from this moment henceforth, she promises herself not to ever be involved. About storming out, Andrew’s voice sounds out once again, “If possible I would love to ask about something else”.

Hearing his voice keeps on haunting Olivia and she says in a deep growl, “Out with it then”. “About that sword, you gave to me. It seems like something is special about it. Can you satisfy my curiosity?”, asks Andrew.

Olivia had wanted to walk away after Andrew asks this question but just decides against it, it wouldn’t hurt her to just leave her reply, hence without turning her back towards him, she starts, “I would advise you not to let anyone in on the fact that I gave you that sword. We would both be in grave trouble for such an action if words get out, I won’t be hurt too much but you won’t fare better at all”, these words of hers bring a lot of shock to Andrew.

Since he came to this world, one outrageous rule after the other has been put in place in this little kingdom he came from. These rules were getting more annoying as the days goes by and although he understood deeply that with greater power, he could act against the laws at any time, it still felt restrictive. ‘How much of a coward is the royal family’, was what went through his head at this moment. It was at this moment that Olivia continues from where she had initially stopped, “I didn’t expect you to be capable of wielding that sword in the realm you currently are and at that with those injuries being inflicted on you. I was shocked deeply. To you, it might have been nothing out of the ordinary but even someone in the sensory realm would be hard-pressed to wield that sword. It was made from a special metal just to counter those at the body like steel realm. Normal swords and weaponries have little to no effect on them, hence this weapon was created. To people in that realm, this sword acts just like a normal sword, although it seems lighter and sharper. It draws energy from the wielder to attack and if you were in the sensory realm, you would be able to feel it more clearly. Your being able to last that long while wielding it goes to show that you have great potential for growth. I wish you all the best”, after saying those words, she quickly left the room and Sophia follows behind her.

“Why did you bother giving him such an elaborate explanation?”, Sophia couldn’t help to ask. “I don’t even know why I did, I just felt like it”, replies Olivia. On hearing her answers, Sophia kept shut and just accompanies Olivia to the entrance of the hospital after which she went back to her office.

Andrew was in the room still trying to digest all that has been said to him. He understood that the sword was special but didn’t think the sword was so special that it draws energy from him while fighting. This was shocking even to him, as he thought about how such a sword came to be and who was able to develop such a piece of equipment with such usage. He started thinking that perhaps if he had such a sword when fighting Edson, he would have been victorious but he quickly discarded such thoughts as he knew he wasn’t able to overpower someone two realms above him.
